Mohan Babu As 'Swamy Vivekananda'

This might sound like a contrast but then it is heard that the veteran star Mohan Babu is all set to be donning the title role in a new movie. This has been titled as ‘Vivekananda’ and unlike the real life intellectual Swamy Vivekananda, it is heard that Mohan Babu would be seen in a different role.

This is slated to be a political thriller and despite the string of flops that Mohan Babu delivered as a hero, the team is positive that this would bring his legacy back. The film is being produced by Manchu Lakshmi Prasanna and she is determined to give her daddy a very big hit like ‘Assembly Rowdy’.

One can recall that Mohan Babu’s movie ‘M Dharmaraju’ was a critically acclaimed flick with a similar backdrop. Given the lines of ‘Vivekananda’ something similar can be expected. But whether it can reach the range of ‘Assembly Rowdy’ or not is something the Filmnagar folks are not sure of.
