Young tiger Junior NTR, who is busy with the shooting of his upcoming film tentatively titled “Oosaravelli” under the direction of Surendar Reedy, apart from this movie he has many films in pipe line. Now the latest news from the film nagar circles is that Jr NTR will do a new project under the direction of Tamil director KV Anand.

Director Anand was earlier directed a Super Hit Tamil film Ko , which was released recently in Telugu as Rangam. He also directed another Tamil film Ayan with Surya, which was released in Telugu as Veedokkade. Now he is going to enter into Tollywood with full fledged Telugu film. As per the sources director KV Anand narrated the story line to Jr NTR and NTR has given the green signal to do thatproject it seems. Another buzz is that this film will be produced by Aswini Dutt, who produced Shakthi movie with Jr NTR recently, which was bombed at box office.

This film will now be directed by Kamal and the crew has already left to London two days ago for the first schedule. Here is the reason why Selva was given the gate pass. Initially Selva has narrated the story line to Kamal few months ago. With in next few weeks it is Loka Nayakudu and his friendly partner cum yester year heroine Gauthami worked very intensely on this subject and brought a different shape which Selva wasn’t expecting. When scripting entered the final stage, Gauthami do not want to take any ideas from Selva. manchu manoj is to make a big impression with his grand re-entry. Preity Zinta's affair with Lee leaked

They tried to play hide and seek with media. The IPL Punjab Kings XI owner and the Aussie cricketer playing for Kolkata Knight Riders Brett Lee were known to have spent almost two hours together at a hotel named Olive Restaurant, Mumbai before media caught them red handed.

For information sake Preity broke up with long time boy friend Ness wadia and Lee was the ex-team mate of Preity’s Punjab Kings. There were mixed reviews for the film early on during the release time. Later on many big movies entered into the competition for ‘prema kavali’ and the Cricket World Cup haven’t really bothered it. Including with ‘Ala Modalaindi,’ this ‘prema kavali’ is declared a silent hit of year till now. Completing 100 days in 23 centers, Vijay Bhaskar’s direction, Aadi’s ease in performance and heroine Isha Chawla’s hot looks combinely helped the film to have a long standing.

Film sources who spoke very less about ‘prema kavali’ till last two weeks are now agreeing that film has done a decent job at BO by maintaining steady collections throughout. Well, it is paradoxical that second film of Aadi isn’t declared till now. Wish that Aadi makes his father Sai Kumar feel proud in future too.

Tapsee happy with 'Veera' flop

Beautiful combination of Kajal Agarwal and tapsee well supplemented the final result of ‘Mr. Perfect’ which is declared a hit of the season. Kajal leaded from front to make the screen stay peasant in first half and tapsee maintained her glamorous presence in second half thus making audience rate their blend termed as ‘Lucky.’ Now, producer Ganesh Indukuri of ‘Veera’ expected the same to happen for his film but with inter changed portions of heroines. That is expected and even the final result is inter changed making ‘Veera’ as one of the big failures in this year.

While tapsee made all the hard work for both the films adding extra dates, it is sure that Kajal ran away with slight extra mileage and credentials. Any upcoming heroine doesn’t like this to happen. Although called as second fiddle heroine in above two projects, tapsee is heard to have been happy to see the fate of ‘Veera’ damaging the reputation of Kajal alone. After all, this is a competitive world and everything counts here.

She also signed a movie Mana Love Story under Karunakaran’s direction in which Ram will play lead role. This is the first time Ram and Tamanna are working together. The movie is currently undergoing shoot. The movie is expected to hit screens on September 2011

With Dhanush in a Tamil Movie Venghai

Venghai  is a forthcoming Tamil action-masala film directed by Hari, starring Dhanush and Tamanna in the lead roles. The film started it shooting in November 2010 at Trichy and is expected to release in late 2011

Samantha opposite Ram charan

Upcoming actress Samantha, who shot to fame with Gautham Menon’s Ye Maya Chesave and Jr. NTR’s Brindaavanam, will be the heroine opposite young hero Ram Charan Teja in his next film to be directed by V.V. Vinayak.

According to sources, the makers of this untitled film approached the actress for the female lead role and she accepted the project without a second thought.

The film will go on the sets in July after the director completes his ongoing Allu Arjun starrer Badrinath. The scripting is on. More details are awaited.

Pokiri girl in Nippu Movie

The Mass Raja Ravi Teja and Goa Beauty Ileana is all set to rock again as a pair in onscreen.Sources say that Ileana has been roped in to do the female lead in the movie Nippu.The pair earlier shared the screen space in super hit movie KICK and another disaster film khatarnak. Now third time this duo acting together in Nippu. Deeksha Seth is also playing another female lead in ‘Nippu’

Nippu movie is directed by Gunasekhar and YVS Chowadary is producing the film on Bommarillu Banner. Music is scoring by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Sarvesh Murari handles camera, Akula Siva will write the dialogues, stunts by Kanal Kannan and Anand Sai is the art director.

The First Look of Mahesh Babu, Srinu Vytla’s combo Dookudu is unveiled on the eve of Super Star Krishna’s birthday and is earning amazing response from all the corners.

Mahesh conveyed his happiness on micro-blogging site saying the 1st look of Dukudu has received stunning response and his father Super Star Krishna also liked it. Mahesh further thanked director Srinu Vytla and the producers Ram Achanta, Gopi Achanta and Anil along with the entire team of 14Reels Entertainment banner for working hard for Dookudu.

According to a story heard in Film Nagar, Powerstar Pawan Kalyan has given a 'mega' punch to an ace Bollywood hero. Quite calm and composed Pawan is known for his involvement in the script and takes care of it from end to end. Currently, one of Pawan's next projects is a remake of a superhit Hindi flick which in turn is a mixture of several Telugu film stories. Regarding the same flick, this top Hindi hero has advised Pawan about the characterization of the role. With the stature acquired in the masses with his self-style, this Bollywood macho man is nothing before Powerstar. An insider has revealed that the Hindi hero has phoned Power Star to advise about 'style mantra'. Pawan has declined his advances and asked him to put down the call as he doesn't want any such advises. Looks like Pawan got embarrassed to a maximum as he was already feeling bad for the poor performances of his last two flicks.

Srinu Vaitla @ 'Pokiri-Part2'?

The time has come for Mahesh Babu to make up for his comeback gap and also for the dud he scored through his movie ‘Khaleja’. This is happening through the film ‘Dhookudu’ and recently, the ‘Dhookudu’ teaser was released by its director Srinu Vaitla.

Those who saw the teaser said “The last dialogue reminds of Pokiri and the styling and presentation feels it was like a sequel to ‘Pokiri’.” If that be the case then two things will happen. The ‘Pokiri’ flavour may not work in this year with the contemporary audience.

But then, Vaitla’s handling is good on his projects. So, the trade analysts say that on a whole the average talk looks guarantee. If cinema gets above average, it might get a good hit and this will become a relief to Mahesh. Let us see what happens…

Sekhar Kammula's 'LIB' Secret Revealed

It has been ages since Sekhar Kammula has announced his project ‘Life Is Beautiful’ but it is yet to hit the floors. As a result, Kammula faced flak and criticism from many. However, not many know the real reason for the delay and here is the actual reason for that.

The reason for that is Cinematographer Vijay C Kumar. Apparently, since Kammula started making his films, Vijay has been the cinematographer. Currently, he is busy with the new film of Nandamuri Balakrishna under the direction of Paruchuri Murali.

Sources say that recently, Vijay was atop a 40 feet crane for a shot. Usually, only 2 cameras and only 1 man are allowed on the crane but they put 3 men on it. The crane went to the top and unable to bear the weight, it broke in between and came down crashing.

Unit members reveal that one assistant who tried to save the cameras got his hand cut off. Vijay Kumar ended up crashing on the ground and his hand and leg broke. The other person also got severely injured. Though this happened about 2 and half months ago, it didn’t come out. For now, it is heard that Vijay C Kumar will take one more month to recover.

Now, Kammula is firm that he will wait for Vijay only to come back and then start the shooting. That goes to show his commitment towards people and the value he gives to relations. As for Vijay’s injuries, it is heard that the producer bore the entire expenses and the assistant whose hand got cut was joined through grafting. Get well soon Vijay and others.

Siddarth is one actor who is not only good at making the girls swoon over him but also likes to keep himself busy with few culinary skills. However, not all talents can be embedded into one and that is something this southern stud should realize. The reason we say this is due to the following incident.

It is heard that recently Sidz invited a friend of his for dinner at his home. Not stopping at that, he only cooked Dal Tadka and Butter Chicken and put it in twitter as well with the following messages just after cooking–

“Butter chicken & Dal Tadka polished off...better burn it off in practice today ;) one more off day & then 30 days of non stop activity!”

“Spent the morning cooking:). Recreating dhaba food...very good results & you have to believe me on this one:) cooking is therapeutic!’

Now, it seems that even the friend also said it is good.

The friend also said to Sidz, “You are good at cooking. You would have become chef but fortunately became actor”

Sidz took that as compliment but missed the satire in that. The friend meant, ‘fortunately you became an actor’ has straight meaning. Since, the people are fortunate, he didn’t become Chef.

It seems the same friend is coming out and saying that it was torture. He is telling off the record that the butter chicken smelled bad and unbearable for not adding proper masala. The friend has reportedly said that it was cooked terribly.

Going by this, one can understand while it was therapeutic for Sidz, it was pathetic for his guest.

Censor Board Chief Dhanalakshmi's Corruption

The AP regional Censor Board is fixed in a controversy now. There is a big allegation that its present Chief Dhana Lakshmi got corrupted and clearing the films with U certificate with a price.

Although some scenes are to be cut down to give U or U/A, as per producer’s requests she s waving green signal for release without cuts.

On the other hand, a complete contrary scene is happening now between Censor Board and ‘Veera’ makers.

It is said that Censor Board has suggested a few cuts with respect to beheadings, skin show and cuss words but the makers didn’t bother at all.

No body from the audiences complained about this as the masses readily enjoys this feast. But the fight is on between Censor Board and ‘Veera’ makers for violating the rule.

The bottom line is that makers are not concerned about Censor Board and the Censor Baord is also not concerned about the society. Every body is concerned about themselves.

Nagarjuna says Sr.Mahalaxmi is better

Charan avoids 'Krish' kinda kaanda

Mega hero Ram Charan has just tasted one failure with 'Orange', but looks to have learnt million lessons with it. He thought of doing one meaningful film and a mass film in tandem prior to 'Orange', but changed his ideas completely now. Charan is just banking on mass masala entertainers as he realized the value of being 'successful'. Apparently, Charan thought of doing a film under Krish direction as he liked the director's work in 'Gamyam' and 'Vedam'. Despite Vedam's lukewarm response he stood firm on working with Krish. On the other hand, Krish who is known for novel ideas narrated a line which impressed Charan very much. Charan too had almost green lit the project but later backed off with Orange's result. According to the sources, Krish who is done with Tamil remake of 'Vedam' recently tried to contact Charan regarding their commitment, but the latter said that he is not willing to 'experiment' at the moment. So Krish is on a hunt for another hero.

No To Ram Charan Tej's Mother-In-Law

The latest buzz in the industry is that actress Meena, who consciously retired from the film industry after tying the knot with Vidyasagar, is now making a comeback with a Telugu film.

It is being reported that Meena, who has acted in several hit movies in all the four south Indian film industries and Bollywood, will play Tollywood star Ram Charan Tej’s mother-in-law in an untitled film, which is being directed by V V Vinayak. The film also stars Samantha in the lead.

However, when contacted the actress, she categorically said, “It’s shocking to hear such news. My comeback is just a rumour. I’m happily married and I’m busy taking good care of my five-monthold daughter Nainika. She’s too young to be left alone. I don’t know from where such gossips originate. I’m definitely not making a comeback now.”

But, can her fans expect to see her onscreen anytime soon?

“It’s too early for me to comment. I’ve a lot of responsibilities and can’t shirk them for acting in films. Only time will tell if I make a comeback or not,” she said.

Hero Srikanth Hiding Tears At Media

Hero Srikanth is desperately promoting his movie ’Dussasana’ by hiding his tears and showing an artificial confidence.

He knows that he was trapped in the madness of Posani Krishna Murali just looking at the pay pack he got from producer and the way Posani narrated the story.

Posani is a good narrator but he cannot bring his thought on to screen sensibly. That senselessness is the trademark of Posani.

But Srikanth promised producers that he will promote the film as well. Hence he got the pay check which is beyond his market rate, say sources.

So fulfill the commitment he is promoting the movie despite receiving huge criticism and blames from his friends and close circle for acting in such a nasty film.

Srikanth must have decided not to appear in Posani’s films again although he gave an artificial statement that he would like to act in Posani’s captaincy again.

Allu Arjun's Hotshot Role Models

There is no exaggeration when Allu Arjun has been given the name of Stylish Star in the cine industry and also by his fans.

Doctorate For Hero Vikram

It appears that the efforts of the talented hero Vikram have now received a special benchmark and that too in the international way. News is that Chiyaan Vikram has been conferred with the Honorary Doctorate of Fine Arts in Acting.

This has been awarded by Universita Popolare Degli Studi Di Milano (UUPN), one of the oldest and most sought after university in Italy. This university is usually called as People’s University of Milan. With this, Vikram becomes the first Indian actor in the history of European Universities to receive a doctorate in acting.

Present during the event were the President and Vice President along with other syndicate members of the University. The guests of honour were the Vice President of West Africa and Member of Planning Commission in China. Vikram from his end was feeling privileged to receive this honour.
