'Sri Rama Rajyam'- Will It Be Successful?

The Telugu audience has always got a special place for devotional and mythological flicks. But with the decreasing levels of patience and increasing demand for variety in them, a big question has now begun to make rounds. This is about the film ‘Sri Rama Rajyam’ and whether it will be successful or not.

A cine analyst revealed “It is more or less a remake of the yesteryears hit ‘Lava Kusha’. Those days the film ran because it was first color cinema. And that time, the mania was high for N T Rama Rao as old timers literally saw Lord Rama in him”.

Another version is “Without villain there is no drama in a film. And that is not there in ‘Sri Rama Rajyam’. What is the emotion in this when God himself is crying. How will audience connect? As it is, Bapu has lost his magic touch as a director.” With such versions, the odds seem high for the film. But with the audio becoming a hit, the tide seems to be changing slowly.
