Why Tollywood Running To Chennai Again?

There was a time when the city of Chennai was the hub for Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi movies. Even Hindi films also used to come for few things. Gradually, Bollywood went to Mumbai and built its base. Andhra films went to Hyderabad and settled. Kannada to Bangalore and Malayalam to Cochin…

However, the Kannada and Malayalam circuits were not successful and they are returning to Chennai on frequent basis for film work and even shootings also. So far, only Tollywood has been the only successful circuit after Bollywood with the likes of Ramoji Film city and other studios in Hyderabad.

But still, it is noticed that many music directors come to Chennai for getting their work done. Our Chennai source revealed “In Chennai, instrument experts are the sought after. No one is compatible to them in terms of performance and delivery. Work-wise, they are very disciplined and know the subject thoroughly.”

It is heard that the Tollywood makers are very impressed with the levels of commitment and the quality of the final product they give. That’s why, right from films of 2 crores to Rs 40 crores, music works such as Re-Recording, song recording and other works of Tollywood are reportedly happening briskly in Chennai.
