MJ Fans Firing Rana's Film!!!

It appears that Daggubati Rana seems to have treaded into the path of controversy for every film of his. While he is busy hogging headlines for his link up with co-star Bipasha for the Hindi film ‘Dum Maro Dum’, here is something else happening with his Telugu film ‘Nenu Naa Rakshasi’. This time, it has to do with the audio of the film.

Apparently, fans of the legend Michael Jackson are breathing fire on Rana. The reason for that is one of the songs in his film which goes Padthinammo…. Apparently, this is a complete lift from MJ’s Leave Me Alone… from his album ‘Bad’. This rip off has shocked MJ fans. The music is composed by the duo of Vishwa and Rahman. It is heard that the makers approached Bappil Lahiri who declined and then went to Vishal-Shekar but even that didn’t work.

Finally, it came to the duo of Vishwa and Rahman. Meanwhile, the song has caused an outrage and even Madhura Sreedhar, who heads the audio label of the film stated that copying the MJ number was not called for. Finally, even Vishwa who has supposedly ‘composed’ the song admitted to sources about the ‘similarity’. However, he is covering it by saying a lot of alteration has been made and they used ‘Mohana’ ragam and ‘Madhyamavati’ beats.

The final touch is, while the MJ fans are yet to recover from the shock, another number Paapam Punyam is reportedly inspired from Scottish singer K T Tunstall’s Black Horse And The Cherry Tree.
