A quite common phenomenon in Telugu Film Industry is to copy the storyline and concept of a hit flick to make quick money. Balakrishna's 'Samara Simha Reddy' and Ram Charan's 'Magadheera' are the best examples of this. Many people tried to make films in faction lines of Rayalseema, but failed at the BO miserably. In the same way, to create a record with high budget, folks tried to imitate 'Magadheera' and have bitten mud. Now, the 'segalu' of Rajamouli's 'Eega' are creating hulchul in Tollywood, with less popular film makers running after such concepts. In 'Eega', a fly plays a central role, in whose body the soul of a dead man enters to take revenge on villains. Now, 'Pellaina Kothalo' fame Madan is said to be coming with a visual effects centered flick that has a 'parrot' in the protagonist role. Industry sources are saying that rather than copying other's concepts, this new-generation directors should try something new! |
