Baba should have the Sankalpa to come out of the problem

If the mortal humans are afflicted with any disease, it is up to the doctors to save their lives. But, if the human incarnate of God himself suffers from illness, who should take the responsibility of curing him?

This is the question bothering a team of specialist doctors, who also happen to be the ardent devotees of Satya Sai Baba, treating the spiritual leader suffering from multi-organ dysfunction.

"Bhagawan Satya Baba should have the "Sankalpa" to come out of the present problem. Then only, he will come out. From our side, we are doing our best," said Dr A N Safaya, Director of Sri Satya Sai Institute of Higher Medical Sciences (SSSIHMS) at Puttaparthi.

Briefing the media about the health condition of Baba, who was admitted to the SSSIHMS on March 28, Dr Safaya said on Wednesday that as devotees they never expected that a day would come when Baba himself would become a patient in the hospital that he conceived and set up.

The team of doctors said they were not sure how long the life-support systems, like ventilator and Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT), would have to be continued. "He is stable but continues to be critical. For the next few days, he needs to be monitored on a continuous basis," the Director said.
