Salman Khan In Vizag @ CCL @ 5TH Mar

If you thought IPL is the most happening thing, read this. The time has come for welcoming CCL (Celebrity Cricket League). This has the likes of Salman Khan, Venkatesh, Surya, Sudeep heading the teams and on the glamour side, there is Sonakshi, Genelia, Priyamani and others cheering up the teams.

The Curtain Raiser event is gearing up and all are arriving in special chartered flights. Unlike the regular white or red balls, pink balls are being used for the game and special arrangements are made to get cheer girls who are part of the European football league.

Incidentally, many thought that CCL will not have that much of scene but the dream is becoming a reality. The curtain raiser will be happening after IPL and it is the biggest ever. If IPL has Shahrukh Khan then CCL has Salman Khan. IPL has cricketers while CCL will have film stars with cricketers as their coaches.

The Tollywood team is coached by the legendary Vivian Richards. The Curtain Raiser is scheduled to happen on March 5th at ACA VDCA cricket stadium, Vizag and the promos will commence from March, April. The tournaments will commence from May onwards. Already, there is pressure on the organizers to have teams from Marathi and Bhojpuri as well but the organizers are taking it slow.

The perception is that CCL belongs to a Bombay group but truth is, the owners are from our Hyderabad. This has Vishnu Induri (co-founder of CCL) Sreenivasulu Murthy (one of the co-founders for South Scope magazine), Tirumal Reddy (Sprint Telefilms), Radhika Sarath Kumar from Chennai.
