Popular film star Junior NTR is all set to tie the nuptial knot on May 5. The families of NTR and Lakshmi Pranathi, daughter of noted industrialist Narne Srinivasa Rao, are busy in making the arrangements for the much-awaited wedding in film circles.
The two families would exchange “Lagna Patrika” (Wedding Card) at a traditional ceremony to be held at Narne’s home here at 8 am tomorrow. The would-be bride is closely related to TDP President N Chandrababu Naidu. Her mother Mallika is Naidu’s niece.
Junior NTR was engaged to the teenage student last year amidst reports that the girl was still a minor. The wedding ceremony has been delayed to ward off criticism over underage marriage.
At present, the actor is busy with the shooting of his forthcoming film “Shakti” being produced by Ashwini Dutt. The movie is expected to hit the theatres in April.
