If sources are to believed, Mega Powerstar Ram Charan's engagement with Upasana Kamineni would take place in one of the most popular and beautiful forts located in the Telangana region 'Domakonda'. This fort is more popular as "Gadi Domakonda" also "Killa Domakonda" and this once palatial mahal inside is populary known as "Addhala Meda" (Glass house). A huge elevated compound of granite rocks becoming a fort wall, with a wooden door that’s spiked with iron rocket head’s on its face making it an entrance door to the beautiful two storied Mahal which is worth praising to the great stucco work that's eye catchy even today. Domakonda is a small village that falls around 4 Kms from the main road on the way to Nizamabad District from Hyderabad (NH7) and is close to 100 Kms from Hyderabad. The fort has been built in the 18th Century. It's a private property now, which is owned by Umapathi Kamineni, grand-father of Upasana.

Naseeruddin Shah, rocking a pencil moustache, is introduced as a particularly sleazy admirer, while Vidya Balan continues dhak-dhakking her way through various cheesy but bosomy scenarios.

Tushhar Kapoor, hiding behind a Burt Reynolds moustache, also falls for Silk Smitha, but is clearly out of his depth as he looks to have swallowed his tongue.

Vidya Balan in purple sizzling against a blackboard, rolling in green filmi grounds with Naseer, making out in a car, raising a foam-covered leg from a bathtub to pose for an excited photographer, and finally letting Naseer unravel a wet scarlet sari with the December 2 date superimposed on it.

Although Puri Jagannadh is the producer of that film, Manjula too got some percentage because of Mahesh. Now, with growing confidence in Dookudu, Mahesh has involved his brother Ramesh Babu in the production. This film is being produced by relatively newcomers and they couldn't say no to a big star like Mahesh Babu's desire. Hence, they took Ramesh Babu as one of the partners. Makers of Dookudu really don't need to share their profits with another person. They are well off to produce big films on their own. But Mahesh Babu insisted to rope in Ramesh Babu. What looks more unnatural is Chiru riding the city in his 2.5 crore Mercedes Benz SUV despite of choosing 'simple living'. A senior sales manager working for RR said, "It is very unfaithful on Chiru's part, to keep the giant Rolls Royce Phantom inside his garage covering with dust and bird poppies". Ramcharan Behaving Like 'Alludu' And 'Mogudu'

Till recently, Ramcharan was moving around like a lover to Upasana Kamineni but now we hear that he has started behaving like her ‘Mogudu’ and is being treated like ‘Alludu’ in Upasana’s home.

'I wasn't uncomfortable with bold scenes'

Mumbai: She is at her boldest ever in "The Dirty Picture", but actress Vidya Balan says she never felt a sense of discomfort shooting for the movie as she was in the "trusted hands" of director Milan Luthria.

"I have never enjoyed being a woman more than I did while shooting for 'The Dirty Picture'. I wasn't uncomfortable doing bold scenes because I knew I was in trusted hands," Vidya told reporters here Tuesday.

The actress, who reprises late southern siren Silk Smitha's rise and fall as a glamourous star in the film, spoke at the theatrical launch of the film.

The movie also features Tusshar Kapoor, Emraan Hashmi and Naseeruddin Shah.

"I have worked with Naseer before but this time it was easier...I was less nervous this time," said Vidya, who had teamed up with the veteran actor in "Ishqiya".

On working with Bollywood's serial kisser Emraan, with whom she has locked lips in the film, she said: "I was wondering how it would be with Emraan, but it was fun."

The trailer promises viewers that Vidya would indeed be seen in a never-seen-before avatar in the film, which is set for release Dec 2. (IANS)

Slated to be a variety thriller, the film brings about the trio of an unsuccessful hero, heroine and director. Let us see if this one brings them some relief.

Story
Gautam (Sumanth) is an ad film director and for one of his projects, he doesn’t get the right face. So, he uses the photoshop technology and comes up with an imaginative face and names it as Kamakshi. However, there is a girl called Meenakshi (Vedhika) who looks exactly like the created Kamakshi and her engagement gets cancelled due to the morphed model. To settle a score, Meenakshi takes the help of her journalist friend Zarina (Sindhu) who is investigating on a terrorist group. Zarina gathers evidence and gives it to Meenakshi but gets killed. A sequence of events leads the police to believe Gautam and Meenakshi are also terrorists. What happens from there forms the rest of the story.

Performances
Sumanth’s character has no scope for performance or show heroism. He is just part of all the other characters. However, he managed not to have any minuses from his end.

Vedhika pushed her act in a so-so manner. Though she looks pretty in few scenes, there is nothing significant about her performance.

Brahmanandam brings some time pass with his comedy and performance during the second half. Of course, this is nothing different from the several roles he did before.

The cheap comedy between Rajesh and Raghu Babu might appeal to the masses. Krishna Bhagawan’s satires didn’t work that much. Sindhu Tolani was okay while Pragathi did her usual overaction. The actor who did the role of Umar did a decent job. No point in discussing about others.

Analysis
The first thirty minutes of the film is spent in silly scenes and the audience doesn’t get a doubt that this will shape up as a thriller. The mass comedy between Rajesh and Raghu Babu worked as tonic for masses. Once the subject of terrorism enters, the screenplay should have picked up but that didn’t happen. From there, the director didn’t add comedy or enough thrill elements making it a boring subject.

He annoys with a screenplay that lacks grip. If it was not for Brahmanandam’s comedy that came to the rescue, the film would have failed further. However, even his contribution was not complete.

The abrupt climax is another setback. Overall, this is a film which fails to appeal any genre of audience as its genre is confusing.

Bottomline: Stay far from the film!!

'I'm Ready To Face Bezawada Durgamma Shaapam'

Most of us don’t dare to mess with God and especially, when it is Goddess Kanakadurga. But then, here is one man who has decided to face her wrath.

Apparently, his new production venture ‘Bezawada Rowdylu’ garnered huge controversy due to the title.

Despite several protests, Ramu was firm that he would not change the title.

In this process, he also took an oath and swore on Bezawada Durgamma that the title change will never happen.

However, ‘Bezawada Rowdylu’ has become ‘Bezawada’ now. When asked about it, Ramu is reportedly saying “Due to various reasons which I cannot reveal, the title change has taken place.”

When someone reminded him “You took an oath on Durgamma for not changing the title”, Ramu is replying “I am ready to face Durgamma’s Shaapam”. Let us see what will happen now.

The cult comedy of ‘Money’ series created a new trend in Tollywood. Now, J D Chekravarthy is back with the supposedly third part of the series. Was it good enough? Let us see

Story
Four friends Chakry, Abbas, Raghu, Gogi (JD, Mukul Dev, Brahmaji, Kavin Dev) are going through financial crisis and run out of jobs. They finally decide to do a kidnapping and target Maggie (Tara Alisha), daughter of rich businessman Jagadish (Nagababu). They kidnap her and get her to the house of Khan Dada (Brahmi) who is now financially bankrupt.

In this process, the kidnappers also put Khan Dada’s family as hostage. The ransom money is demanded from Jagadish. Meanwhile, love begins to blossom between Chakry and Maggie. When the money gets ready, doubts and suspicion begin to creep up in the four friends minds and what happens from there forms the rest of the story.

Performances
J D Chekravarthy gave a natural act. Interestingly, age doesn’t show on him and he looks the same like he was in the first ‘Money’ movie.

Tara Alisha is sizzling hot. Sporting a short banian and tight shorts, she oozed her oomph wherever possible. Acting wise, she needs to work on her expressions and develop ease in front of the camera.

Brahmanandam did his best to bring out laughs. However, he was not able to shoulder the film throughout due to the poor etching of his character. Few dialogues tickled the funny bones though.

Mukul Dev looks apt for the role and his stern expressions brought some seriousness. Kavin Dev who shot to fame with the ‘Sprite’ advertisement in TV looks cute.

Brahmaji is a deserving talent and is a versatile performer. Not sure why he doesn’t get meaty roles and challenging opportunities.

Rajeev Kanakala was regular, Venu Madhav was alright, Mayuri was sensuous, good to see Ghajala back, Senthil was a surprise, Subbaraju was brief, Jeeva was okay, Rama Prabha was effective, Nagababu was usual. The others didn’t have much to offer except filling the screen.

Analysis
It’s a remake of ‘Drawaja Bandh Rakho’ added with a special character called Khan Dada.

Very often, JD Chekravarthy speaks like he is god’s gift to the world of cinema and displays his ‘intelligence’ at every given opportunity. But the fact is, he is nothing but a decent actor and it is better if he sticks to just that.

Being tagged as a protégé of Ram Gopal Varma has given him some image (and career) but in reality, all his script writing skills are simply hollow. As a film maker, he has no knowledge of understanding the audience pulse or the ability to come up with a product that can engage the viewer for two hours.

Given his skill sets, taking up comedy is another major blunder. He would have been better off by coming up with a different title rather than attaching it to the cult comedy ‘Money’ and making a mockery of the classic. By cramming a dozen efficient cast on the screen, chipping few illogical lines and immature comedy if Chekry thinks he is a film maker then he better get back to school.

The film has nothing worthwhile except the nostalgic feel of ‘Money’ and few glimpses of light moments. At the box office, the makers might gain few returns due to the title hype and Brahmi factor but otherwise, this is a sure shot dud.

Bottomline: Not worth your money at all!!

Director's 'Navel Test' Downs Sarees

The cinema industry is sometimes a strange place for some and even stranger is the audition tests for choosing the heroines. An example for this is the recent update we heard from a filmnagar source about a particular director who has this unusual way of screening for finalizing his lead cast.

It is heard that his name is Venkat Kasturi and he is planning to make a film. Taking inspiration from K Raghavendra Rao, his requirement for heroine is a beautiful face with a very beautiful navel. For that, he is checking the aspirants and immediately checking their navels.

Those who are around reveal “For this navel test. Venkat sir is asking the aspiring actresses to wear sarees below their navel and then he is checking. So far, 13 have been checked and dropped. By doing all this, he has become a laughing stock among staff.”

The office is said to be in Srinagar colony and this project happens to be a self production of Venkat. Those who heard this reveal “This is nothing new. RGV's Emotional Decision On 'Bezawada Rowdylu'

Ram Gopal Varma is one man who is strong on his beliefs and is very thick headed once he decides. While that attitude of his has led to several controversies, he always relished the challenges. One such trouble which he was facing since quite a while was due to the title of his production venture ‘Bezawada Rowdylu’.

Despite several protests from the locals and some efforts from his close friend Lagadapati Rajagopal, Ramu was firm on not changing the title. However, the latest update is that Ramu has amended it. The film shall now be known as ‘Bezawada’ much to the surprise of his fans.

Sharing his thoughts, Ramu reportedly said he has been subject to immense pressure from all sides to change the title. So he had to take the decision. He maintained in a rather emotional note that he loves Vijayawada and sees no reason why he would show the place in a bad light. He expressed surprise on why people were getting angry on him. More than the title change, many got to see a very emotional Ramu which is a major shocker.
