'Dookudu'- Rs 100 Cr For 50 Days

The most talked about movie of the Dussehra season is ‘Dookudu’. While it arrived with maximum hype, the film has surpassed that hype after release and has been romping with bumper collections, as per reports. As of now, it is heard that ‘Dookudu’ has crossed Rs 70 crores mark.

Now, it is being estimated that the film will comfortably touch the 50 days mark and by that time, it would be grossing Rs 100 crores. If that happens then ‘Dookudu’ will become the first Telugu film to touch the three digit figure. Mahesh Babu who stood first in terms of collections with ‘Pokiri’ for a long time might be retaining the number 1 spot for a long time again.

One of the reasons for this confident prediction is ‘Dookudu’ has been getting massive response from remote places like Botswana, Trinidad and other countries which were never explored before. Locally, the key theatres are still reporting houseful collections during first and second shows and 60%-70% occupancy during the morning show and matinee. That’s ‘Dookudu’ for you folks.
