It has often been said that the Kollywood stars have a strong fan base in Andhra Pradesh. Notable among them are Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, Suriya and Vikram. However, it appears that Vikram might be slowly fading out of this category.
 
This talk has become strong after looking at the response to his latest release ‘Veedinthe’. Despite having all ingredients for a commercial potboiler and the romantic track with Deeksha Seth, the film has been declared a major dud in Andhra Pradesh.
 
A source from the distributor circle revealed that those who bought Vikram’s films like ‘Naana’ ‘Mallanna’ ‘Veedinthe’ have landed in a major financial mess. The new talk is Vikram may have to push himself further to find ‘takers’ for his future projects.
