Ileana is just asking for 50 lakh rupees as her remuneration to star in a Bollywood film. This is just 40% of what she gets for starring in a Telugu cinema. Ileana is the highest paid actress in Tollywood history. The actress was paid 1.25 crores for 'Shakti' movie and she gets nothing less than a crore doing a medium budget film like 'Nenu Naa Rakshasi'. However, she is doing Bollywood movie 'Barfee' for just 50 lakh rupees and she is not planning to hike her remuneration in the near future as she wants more and more offers from Bollywood. Not only Ileana there are many more South Indian actresses who are doing Hindi films for half the amount they get in a Telugu film. Even then our producers never learn! They still offer them big bucks even after being aware of their rebate rates in other film industries.

Pic: Ileana spotted with Ranbir in 'Barfee' shooting Andala Khajana Ileana, who is debuting in Bollywood with the film 'Barfee' is playing out-of-the-box role in her very first film. She is playing a character who will be seen aging from a 19-year-old to 30 to a 65 year-old. The film also stars Ranbir Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra in the lead roles, which is being directed by Anurag Basu. Surprisingly, It's not Ileana alone to play out-of-the-box, Ranbir and Priyanka are also doing extremely interesting characters in 'Barfee'. Ranbir Kapoor is playing a deaf and mute boy. Priyanka Chopra is mildly autistic (a form of mental illness that causes a person to withdraw into a private world of fantasy and be unable to communicate with others or respond to his/her real environment) in the film. The shooting of Barfee took off on June 14 at Darjeeling where Ranbir and Ileana are participating in a 10-day schedule. As for the title Barfee, it was chosen because Ranbir’s name in the film is Murphy, and being mute, he mumbles it as barfee!

Ileana's New Business In Goa Raising Eyebrows

Heroine Ileana who seems to be going through a bumpy ride in her film career at Tollywood has realized to shape herself up in another form. Recently, she opened up a boutique in Hyderabad and sources say the response has been good. Now, it is heard that Ileana is getting into a new business and that too at her hometown Goa.

Well, buzz is that Ileana is looking to open a high profile restaurant and spa in Goa. For this, the sexy hip beauty has reportedly short-listed some hot spots in Goa and has taken the help of her family members for the setup. A source reveals Ileana loves sea food and that will be one of the specialities in her new restaurant.

Already, Ileana has zeroed in on two places and it is heard that she wants it to be the most preferred destination for delicacies and therapeutic relief. That way, Ileana has been making good use of her earnings. If all this is true then Ileana would be joining the likes of Nagarjuna and Bhumika getting into the food business.

The Mass Raja Ravi Teja and Goa Beauty Ileana is all set to rock again as a pair in onscreen.Sources say that Ileana has been roped in to do the female lead in the movie Nippu.The pair earlier shared the screen space in super hit movie KICK and another disaster film khatarnak. Now third time this duo acting together in Nippu. Deeksha Seth is also playing another female lead in ‘Nippu’

Nippu movie is directed by Gunasekhar and YVS Chowadary is producing the film on Bommarillu Banner. Music is scoring by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Sarvesh Murari handles camera, Akula Siva will write the dialogues, stunts by Kanal Kannan and Anand Sai is the art director.

No 'Nenu Naa Rakshasi' effect on Ileana!

Sexy siren Ileana, who was so arrogant and stubborn after the release of 'Shakti' is back to her senses. She bluntly stated that 'Shakti' is a bad movie and that is the reason why she is not promoting it. She also went to an extent to criticize star hero NTR and gone overboard in praising 'Nenu Naa Rakshasi'. Huge buzz was created due to Ileana's remarks on 'Shakti' and she is well aware of what is happening around her. However, she didn't feel like condemning those reports and went on with promoting NNR. Sadly, that film ended up as a bigger dud and Ileana's career was in doldrums at the moment. To get things right Ileana is trying to cool NTR and Ashwini Dutt. She is saying that her comments have been twisted by the media. Ileana says that she was never against 'Shakti' movie. "I've given live performance at the audio launch of 'Shakti'. I have never done such thing for any of my previous movies. How would I do that if I have no respect over the product? I could have simply avoided attending the event citing date problems," Ileana said. We have to wait for few more days to know if NTR has fallen to Ileana's confession.

Ileana: 'That Producer Wasted My Time'

Ileana blasts the producer who asked to give his advance money back. Well, he is the Tamil producer Mohan Nataraj who is urging Tamil film industry to boycott Ileana unless she returns the advance amount she took since his film was not started.

But Ileana blasted back the producer for wasting her 2 years of time by blocking her call sheets and also resulting in losing 2 Telugu films. He literally wasted my time.

Answering for a question regarding her unusual hiking up of remuneration, she said, “I will be paid only what I deserve. A producer never pays a single rupee more if I don’t deserve even though I demand”.

Ileana, who learnt the art of speaking these days, also answered the questions relating to her split with Jr NTR. She said, “We simply laughed reading those gossips about splitting. Jr NTR said to me to take those things light and enjoy. He is a cool sweet co star to work with”.

She also said that there are no differences between her and director Meher Ramesh of Shakti. She said, “I gave one year of my life to the film and even performed at the audio release function since it’s a big movie. And we also enjoyed the gossip that Meher is unhappy about my non involvement in movie promotion”.

Hot Heroines 'Paying Back' Without Noise!!

So far, the trend has been that accommodating a heroine is all about taking care of her expenses and also her coterie. For a top league heroine, this resulted in nearly Rs 5 lakhs- Rs 8 lakhs per film for the producer.

However, all that has changed now and the recent round of discussions regarding the cost cutting measures seem to be taking effect and the heroines are paying back.

It is heard that recently Hansika has agreed to refund Rs 7 lakhs advance to producer Parachuri Prasad. Also, Ileana who was facing the threat of a ban from Kollywood has reportedly consented to payback Rs 35 lakhs to producer Mohan Nataraj.

On the other hand, there was the battering of payments for the support staff for the producers which has been removed. Big league heroines are now taking care of expenses for their own staff like hairstylist, make up person and others. There are those like Genelia who maintain that she used to take care of her staff expenses even before the new regulations came in.

This rule came as a surprise to Tamannah who reportedly said she was unaware of this since she was away from Tollywood for the past 18 months.

However, she added she has no qualms in paying for the expenses. It is also heard that starlets like Anushka, Kajal, Samantha have also agreed to the new conditions without noise and have started paying. Priyamani from her end says each industry has its own set of rules so she would not mind. Well, that’s what we call a payback folks.

'Once Upon A Time in Mumbai 2'  concentrates on the dark life of notorious mafia don Dawood Ibrahim. Akshay Kumar will play the lead in it. Ileana is expected to play the role of film actress Mandakini who was allegedly involved in a romantic relationship with Dawood.

Ileana's svelte figure has made her the frontrunner for this role. Even Kareena Kapoor and Katrina Kaif are in consideration for this character. But given Ileana's stunning physique and relatively fresh appeal fetched her this wonderful opportunity, says the buzz. Actress Ileana Hospitalized

Telugu cinema actress Ileana D’Cruz has been hospitalised few days back due to physical exhaustion. Ileana has been shooting continuously for Telugu movies including Shakti and Nenu Naa Rakshasi and returned back home after a long shooting schedule.

Doctors advised Ileana to take complete bed rest for some time and not to participate in any shooting activities. Ileana’s sister Farrah has been updating to everyone about Ileana’s health condition. Cut across to movies, Ileana does not have any offers in the pipeline and she was recently rejected by ALlu Arjun for a movie directed by Trivikram Srinivas. She has a Tamil movie and even that movie is in a spot of bother. Anyhow let’s wish Ileana a speedy recovery!
