YVS Choudary's 'West Indies' Tension

The super flop movie maker Y V S Choudary who is off the radar is currently busy with his bounce-back venture. However, it is heard that he is going through some tensions and the reason for that is the West Indies country. Wondering what is that link between YVS and West Indies? Here is the story.

Buzz is on about YVS making a film which will mark the debut of Varun Tej, son of mega brother Naga Babu as a hero. Sources say YVS is keen on canning most of the film in West Indies but then it is heard that he is facing visa problems for his cast and crew. That’s why the project is getting delayed.

However, another report is that after the debacle of ‘Shakti’, YVS’s co-producers are advising why this expense and headache of going to West Indies. They are suggesting doing the film in a cost effective way. Only time will tell whether it will be visa to West Indies or working out with less budgets…

YVS Chowdary Frightened Corporate Companies

With Indian cinema being invaded by corporate companies, the Bollywood circuit has seen its strong presence. Eventually, they were keen on entering Tollywood as well but then one man showed his power to stop them and give them the jitters. He is none other than Y V S Chowdary.

YVS who gave the colossal disaster ‘Okka Magadu’ kept low for a while but eventually he teamed up with the corporate banner BIG movies and gave another shock in the form of ‘Saleem’. Sources say that in the bargain, the corporate ended up dumping Rs 8 crores in the drain listening to YVS’s projections. Since then, the common opinion among corporate circles is not to venture freely into Tollywood.

This belief was further strengthened when Walt Disney was made to come to Telugu with ‘Anaganaga Oka Dheerudu’. The result of that was a disaster which has pushed even the international banners away. So, the cine folks say that YVS Chowdary’s credit, Prakash Kovelamudi's woophing budget plan lies in keeping the Corporates away.
