Nag turns auto driver for Damarukam!

Nagarjuna is said to be playing the role of auto driver in his forthcoming socio-fantasy film Damarukam. The fresh schedule of Damarukam is set to commence from 1st July in Sarathi Studios. Damarukam is Nagarjuna’s highest budget film by far in his career.

Anushka is playing the female lead in the movie and she is donning the role of a lady who is born with magical powers while Prakash Raj will be seen in the role of Lord Siva. Abhimanyu Singh is playing the negative lead role in the film.

Damarukam is being directed by Srinivasa Reddy and produced by R.Venkat on R.R.Movie Makers banner. Nagarjuna is currently busy with his Rajanna on his banner Annapurna Studios that will hit the screens in September.

There seems to be no ending on naga chaitanya and Anushka engagement rumor. While everybody in industry are calling the shots in Tamil and Malayalam media for spreading such false baseless rumors hurting the feelings of artists, here is vehement denial from few sources in Nagarjuna camp.  ‘Such rumors are disgusting. It is the work of some sick minds. Blame it on the malicious web media, which runs behind sensational reports on celebrities. Apparently it’s these same websites that even planted stories about Anushka being in a relationship with Nagarjuna too. While there is no doubt Anushka shares great rapport with Nagarjuna, anything beyond a good friendship is sheer speculation by gossip mongers,’ says a member from Nag’s camp as reported by a popular news paper.

Nagarjuna's 1 Crore BMW Car Number 9669

Telugu cinema King Akkineni Nagarjuna dropped at Khiratabad to register the number 9669 at the Regional Transport Authority (RTA) office. Nagarjuna was spotted at the RTA office going through all the official procedures of the system and he completed all the registered formalities. Further to the normal registration charges, Nagarjuna additionally paid Rs 5000 and grabbed the number AP 09 CD 9669.

The new registration system calls for a digital signature from the vehicle owner and as such Nagarjuna visited the Kahiratabad RTA office and fulfilled all formalities. Nagarjuna's fancy number is 9669 and his previous BMW car number was also AP 9 BK 9669. We all know that Akkineni Nagarjuna is crazy about cars and sports cars in particular and the new Rs. 1 crore BMW is yet another classic example of his passion about foreign cars. And some time back it was also reported that Nagarjuna's son Akhil Akkineni was also fond of cards . Like father – like son - Nagarjuna is currently shooting for Rajanna and Damarukam simultaneously.

Nagarjuna Planning For Tabu's Marriage

Despite having all the qualities for being a man’s woman, Tabu is yet to get married. Now, it is heard that the concern is growing for her friend Nagarjuna as the starlet is touching her early 40s. As age is growing for Tabu, it is heard that Nag and Amala are showing concern as friends.

A common friend of Nag and Tabu revealed “Nag is worried that if she remains like that she will land in trouble to find a life partner. He feels it is better she gets married at the earliest. Both Nag and Amala are seeing whoever Tabu is interested, they are trying to get her married to him.”

The source added “When Tabu did not show interest, Nag advised her not to say like that and made her realize that this is the right time to get married. He was also quoting the problems in terms of compatibility, mindset, maternity etc that will arise if Tabu keeps delaying her marriage.” Let us hope Tabu listens to Nag and Amala and settles down soon.

Nagarjuna, the dream man of many ladies across the state is 52 now. But he still looks like a 30 year old guy brining envy for millions of men. Nag Angry With Reports On Chaitu-Anushka Links

The sensational reports over the alleged engagement between top heroine Anushka Shetty and budding hero Naga Chaitanya has upset the latter’s father Akkineni Nagarjuna.

Though the reports first appeared in a section of Tamil media, Nagarjuna did not bother much, but what agitated him was the report appearing in Sakshi, owned by YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy.

It is an open secret that Nagarjuna has been a close confidant of Jagan and that was the reason why he was terribly upset.

He is believed to have complained to Jagan about the reports and asked him to see that a denial appears in Sakshi.

Meanwhile, Anushka is also believed to have condemned the rumours strongly.

“How can I get engaged with Naga Chaitanya, who is much younger to me? We have nothing between us – neither friendship nor engagement,” she clarified.

She, however, said she already has a boyfriend with whom she has an affair. “I don’t want to reveal his name now. And I have no plans to marry him for another two years,” she asserted.

Nagarjuna's fate in Rajamouli's hands!!!

Despite of his last flick ‘Ragada’ being a commercial success, aged romantic hero Nagarjuna is still trying to recreate magic at BO. His two upcoming flicks 'Rajanna' and 'Damarukam' are two different experiments out of which one’s fate is in Rajamouli's hands. Unlike regular formula based commercial flicks, Nagarjuna is producing a period drama titled 'Rajanna' under the direction of Vijayendra Prasad. However, the director is just for the name, but the man behind the movie is his son SS Rajamouli. Sources revealed that all the episodes that have Nagarjuna on-screen are directed by Tollywood's Jakkanna only. The news is earlier out that Rajamouli directs the action episodes of the flick. It is Nagarjuna to force Rajamouli to direct all his episodes for making the flick viable at BO, say sources. Let us wait and watch whether Rajamouli alters Nag's fate with his 'midas' touch or not.

Sexy Lady Targets Nagarjuna

Actress Saloni who shot to fame with her re entry on 'Maryada Ramanna' is now moving very cautiously. She debuted in Dhana 51 long ago but that was miserably flopped. Later she acted in Oka Oorilo and even that flopped. Many directors assumed that she was an iron leg and hence got no proper bookings although she appeared here and there like 'Chukkallo chandrudu'.

But after a long gap, Rajamouli called for Saloni and placed her in Maryada Ramanna. Since that turned big hit, Saloni is carving her career meticulously. She impressed Balayya and Venkatesh in private meetings and bagged offers in 'Mahadevanayudu' as second heroine with Balakrishna and in Venkatesh's 'Body Guard' as second heroine again.

Her next target is Nagarjuna and Ravi Teja respectively. Since Nagarjuna's nephew has got 'close' relation with Saloni, the Annapurna gates are opened for her widely. We may see Saloni getting finalized with Nag in his next project!

Nag’s Rajanna going to Araku!

Hero Akkineni Nagarjuna soon going to join in the shooting of his new film titled "Rajanna". The latest news is that the shooting schedule of Rajanna will from June 13 onwards in Araku Valley near Vizag, there the film unit is going to can a song for Rajanna. Most of the film was shot at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad. Sneha is playing the female lead role opposite to Nagarjuna in this flick.

The movie is based on the realistic incident that took place in a village in Telangana during pre-independence period (1945). The film is said to go in the backdrop of Telangana Razakar Movement. Earlier for this film a huge Telangana Village set has been erected under the supervision of art director Ravi, there the most of film was shot. 

The film is being directed by SS Rajamouli’s father Vijayendra Prasad, but few action scenes canned by under SS Rajamouli direction. This movie is producing by Nagarjuna himself under the banner Annapoorna Studios.MM Keeravani is scoring the music for the film.

Nag's Dhamarukham Updates

King Nagarjuna is acting in the movie Dhamarukham under the banner R R Movie Makers and it has started recently and is going to do the latest schedule from 6th of June at BHEL bramaramba temple for 3 days.

And after that the schedule will be continued in Nanak Ram Guda Rama Naidu Studios in a special house set there and then in Airport Toilet set in the same place and then the shooting will go on in Saradhi studios in a colony set there and then the schedule will be completed and in the next schedule the shooting will be done in all the important sacred places.

Movie is based on Socio Fantasy and has around 50 minutes of Graphics in it, Dhamarukham is directed by Srinivas Reddy and it is the highest budget film in the career of Nagarjuna and music is by Devi Sri Prasad.

'Mahalaxmi' is the word that triggers many emotions in the handsome face of withering star Akkineni Nagarjuna. Nag steals Young Hero's meal!

Young hero Naga Chaitanya is riding high after the success of '100% Love' and Akkineni clan is happy for their third generation hero to be accepted by the audience. He is none other than Varun Sandesh who was supposed to play the protagonist in '100% Love'. Sukumar signed Varun to play the lead role and Tamanna as the heroine at the start. With each passing day, the presence of YSR Congress is making some impact in the Andhra Pradesh politics. With leaders from other parties showing inclination to join this newly led unit by YS Jagan, the speculations are growing wide among the analysts. Now, an interesting development is making rounds.

With an almost confirmed buzz that superstar Krishna is likely to join the YSR Congress around this month end, another interesting update has arrived. It is heard that even Nagarjuna is slowly making his moves towards the YSR congress camp. And here, the reasons are quite varied, as per sources.
