Dusky beauty Kamalini Mukherjee is known for her performance oriented roles. The actress says she is happy with the serious roles offered to her and also comfortable doing them, as far as it's a good one. "It's a male-dominated industry but I have been lucky enough to get some good roles," says Kamalini. Kamalini says that the audience appreciated her work in serious role, rather than just as eye candy opposite star heroes. "I have done both commercial and serious films, but the audience liked me in my serious roles," she said. Kamalini has pinned hopes on her upcoming film 'Virodhi', which stars Srikanth. The film is a political psychological thriller. Kamalini plays a strong character in it and at the same time she is like a breath of fresh air in the movie.
