100% Love - One movie mattered 100%

Siding away from all the barriers, Naga Chaitanya’s ‘100% love’ is sliding for eventual 100 days as surely trade reports seem to be promising for a long run. Happy to hear that this youth flick is done with 50 days in 65 centers by today leaping towards 100 days. In difference with major credits of a success movie accounted either for director or hero, this movie gave enough recognition for Tamanna as heroine, Chaitu as hero, Bunny Vasu as debutant producer, DSP as Music Director and of course brought director Sukku back on success track.  ‘100% love’ is for sure a high profitable venture with poor openings early on but picked up gradually becoming the biggest grosser in Chaitu’s career. Wish that films like ‘100% love’ comes very often lifting the spirits of Tollywood. This one hit mattered more than 100% for entire cast and crew. Anyways congrats for the team!

Nagarjuna accusing Allu Aravind

‘100% love’ is that kind of film which attracted not only youth audience to theatres but also pulled a section of families in spite of ‘Mr. Perfect’ ruling the roost in parallel. Frankly even Geetha Arts was known to be in dilemma as how would public accept this kind of story that revolves more around egos of most talented hero and heroine. With Sukumar’s complex treatment always putting a film in benefit or doubt, agreed that ‘100% love’ was at the least kept under the category of 50% success doubtful. Finally results are out and ‘100% love’ hasn’t passed in first class but it crossed distinction percentage. If 50% of the concentration put up by Allu Aravind’s team on ‘Badrinath’ is transferred to ‘100% love,’ undoubtedly this film could have declared the best film in year till date. Inner sources say that, Nagarjuna is finding fault with Allu Aravind on this issue having known that they have calculatedly suppressed the range of ‘100% love’ only to encourage ‘Badrinath.’ A Valid Point…Nag sir!

Geeta Arts Sues PVR Cinemas for 100% Love Piracy

Geeta Arts has sued PVR Cinemas Gurgaon for a sum of Rs. 5 crores for allowing piracy and  infringement of their copyrights of their recent hit film 100 % Love starring Naga Chaitanya & Tamanna.

It has been learnt that soon after the release of 100% Love on the 6th May’2011, across theatres in AP and parts of North India, pirated dvds/vcds have flooded the market. The anti-piracy teams of Geeta Arts have conducted searches and confiscated some of these pirated dvds.

Upon verification for availability of forensic watermarks on the pirated copies of 100% Love , it was established that the pirated copies were made from a master copy that was recorded at Screen -6 , PVR Ambience Mall, Gurgaon , Haryana.

Basing on the evidence, the producers of 100 % Love have claimed damages from PVR Cinemas for failing to protect their intellectual property, abetting piracy by allowing master copy to be recorded at their facility and for causing severe and irreparable revenue loss.

On the eve of the release of their latest production and the most anticipated multi crore spectacle Badrinath Starring Allu Arjun & Tamanna, sources of Geeta arts said, that with the availability of technology it is now instantaneously possible to examine the origin of the pirated copies of latest films and to know which cinemas such pirated copies are made at.

Theatre managements must take all precautions to stop video piracy at their cinemas, as the resultant loss and damages are huge. They also added that respective theatres will be held responsible for any illegal recordings carried out  at their premises.

Nagarjuna says Sr.Mahalaxmi is better

'Mahalaxmi' is the word that triggers many emotions in the handsome face of withering star Akkineni Nagarjuna. In spite of his advancing age, the star-hero wants to plan a tough competition even for his son Naga Chaitanya. In the process, a journo put across him a question asking which 'Mahalaxmi' is the one loved by him. If you remember the character name 'Mahalaxmi' in Nagarjuna's 'Ninne Pelladatha', then you will easily know what the answer will be. Nag revealed that it is ultimately actress 'Tabu' to strike a chord with him always in the role of Mahalaxmi. Naga Chaitanya's 'Mahalaxmi' Tamanna is rated as a gorgeous girl by Nag before praising Tabu among the two. Young romantic star Chaitu is surprised by his dad's answer as the journo got amazed at the sight of those two, then. It looks like Nag has a permanent place in his heart for Sr.Mahalaxmi. Will Allu Arjun give him a chance?

Producer of '100% Love', Mr. Vasu is fondly known as Bunny Vasu in film industry. That Bunny is prefixed to his name due to his close friendship with Allu Arjun, who is also known as Bunny. His friendship with him is so thick that he couldn't separate his friend from his name even. Vasu turned distributor with Arjun's 'Arya' movie and went on to bag many other successful films which eventually made him a producer. Although he is the producer of '100% Love' he gave due credit to Allu Aravind as one of the producers out of respect. '100% Love' proved successful and will get him good profits but he will need a big film to enter the league of top producers. For that his friend Bunny has to step in and do a film for him. Akkineni fans worried about Allu Aravind

'100% Love' is doing exceptional business all over and Akkineni fans are more than happy with the outcome of this film. They are also content with the promotion of Geetha Arts. However, there is one factor that is worrying them. The release of 'Badrinath' is just around the corner and they fear that would affect the business and run of '100% Love'. 'Badrinath' is a magnum opus made on huge scale whereas '100% Love' is just a medium budget movie. By the time 'Badrinath' arrives, '100% Love' would be in profits and there is every chance for Allu Aravind to focus more on his son's flick and put Chaitu's film aside. There are ample chances for 'Badrinath' to replace '100% Love' in almost every center as the latter was released in theatres that are under Geeta Arts control. Akkineni fans are expecting '100% Love' to reach next level and increase the market potential of Chaitanya. Hence, they wish that this film runs for many days in most number of centers. Promotion should play a vital role for that to happen. But will Allu Aravind and co. spare time to promote this small film at the peril of their high budget flick?

Tamanna: 'I wan't to be carefree'

Can Telugu Film Industry recover???

With strikes and hartals, both from the workers inside and the forces outside, Telugu Film Industry is halting its work very often these days. Apart from this, somersaulting of Big-budgeted and big heroes movies at the Box Office is also on a rise. Can Telugu Film Industry recover from all these blows, is the question now! All this work halting from insiders is directly related to increasing daily wages and remunerations of the 24 crafts people involved in movie making. However, with no good profits in producers pockets, their expectations are watered always. For this, a decent hit is needed at the Box Office. High profile flicks like 'Parama Veera Chakra' and 'Shakti' tumbled in their initial weeks to create deficit at the starting of 2011. To worsen this bad situation, Pawan Kalyan's 'Teen Maar' is losing collections at B&C centres despite of positive talk. Prabhas' 'Mr.Perfect' also looks dull at some parts and all those ingredients in it are not able to predict a steady performance of it. With no money minting flicks in the scenario, the exhibitors and distributors are getting pushed into worst situations. Looks like Telugu Industry is placing itself into a no-recovery situation with no good flicks. It's time for Telugu directors and writers, to tighten their shoe strings for giving a ray of hope in this dampening situation. Hope at least anyone among '100% Love', 'Nenu Naa Rakhsasi' or 'Badrinath' bails TFI out of the crisis.

Nag's 'English Title' Comedy!!!

'English Titles' have become the part of Telugu Industry now, with ace directors like Puri and Sekhar Kammula opting for them. Though, 'Telugu Adhikara Basha Sangam' kinds of people are strictly objecting this trend, directors are not at all showing interest to quit. However, hero Nagarjuna's strong comments on the same issue are making laughs in Tinsel town. Nag is said to be very angry with director Sukumar for choosing the title '100% Love' for his son Naga Chaitanya's upcoming flick. This anger's result is said to be the disappearance of Naga Chaitanya at the audio function. Few sources stated that Nagarjuna is also angry with the movie's team for not approaching him in finalizing the title. What looks like a big joke is that Nagarjuna's recent flicks that made him reach places are named in English only. 'Mass' and 'King' are the two movies that positioned Nag in new heights. Making hulchul on 'English Titles', especially by Nag like big-league heroes is real 'comedy'.

100% Love release postponed!

Naga Chaitanya,Tamannah starrer film “100% Love” release date has been postponed. Earlier the movie was stated to release on April 29th, but now it has moved to May first week, but the reasons for the postponement is not known, still the confirmed release date not yet out.

The movie audio was released recently in a grand manner. The audio songs and promos of the film are already getting the good response from the audience.

This is a youthful romantic entertainer film and Naga Chaitanya will going to appear in a different stylish look.

The movie satellite rights has acquired by Tollywood’s entertainment channel Maa. It is being directed by Sukumar and Bunny Vasu is producing this film under the Geetha Arts banner, while mega producer Allu Aravind is presenting it. Music director Devisri Prasad is scoring the music for this film.

Inside Talk: 'Mr Perfect', 'NNR' And '100% Love'

Inside talks are quite crucial for any film and it gets more significance when the film is of a big star and a big banner. Theoretically, the inside talk stands at 90% accuracy and so, many within the cine circuit and outside wait for it. Here is a look at three promising ventures in Tollywood.

Mr Perfect – Rumor has it that this is a recycled version of ‘Orange’, if that is true then the film is a goner. The bright side is, the audio is a hit and the number ‘Rao Gari Abbai…’ is a chartbuster, the presence of Prabhas, Kajal, Taapsee is another plus point. So, if it is any different from the rumor then it will have good chances at the box office.

Nenu Naa Rakshasi- This is coming up with an unusual flavor. Inside talk reveals that all characters in the film will have negative shades except one person. This is a film noir genre which has been adopted by director Puri Jagannadh and we have seen that happening in Hollywood, for eg: The Italian Job, The Heist etc are few examples. This is more of an experiment in Telugu circuit so let us see how this goes.

100% Love – Unfortunately, the inside talk has been negative and it is rumored that the cinema has not come that well. The audio is average as per overall listener response. After watching Naga Chaitanya in Ye Maya Chesave, he will be seen with that as benchmark which might become a minus. The plus is, it has Tamannah, good team of technicians but given director Sukumar’s complicated thought process, it remains to be seen how the audience will receive it.

Suicide Stampede annoys '100% Love'

Ultimately Sukumar-Naga Chaitanya's upcoming flick '100% Love' is the most talked creative caper of this summer film fest. However, rather than enjoying those sweet comments about the film, the makers are quite annoyed with the 'Suicide-Stampede'. Another perfectionist in the Tinsel town, Puri Jagannadh is shaking Tollywood now, with the trailers of his upcoming flick 'Nenu Naa Rakshasi'. The concept of 'Suicide', the presence of macho-man Rana as a serial killer and sexy hour-glass beauty Ileana as a 'failed lover' in NNR's promotional material are shocking the audience. As per trade sources, if NNR rocks the BO with its different concept, the collections of '100% Love' will also get affected. Though Sukumar's flicks look like 'Slow Poison', Puri films are mostly 'instant winners'. Puri has also the history of shaking Tollywood with his suicide oriented film 'Itlu Sravani Subbrahmanyam'. One has to wait till the release of these two flicks to find out the real winner!

Apparently, Nag wants to launch Naga Chaitanya in such a way that he gets much applause like Jr NTR and Ram Charan. However, his debut flick 'Josh' was unable to project the deserved mass hero image to Chaitu, while 'Ye Maya Chesave' made him a lover-boy of Telugu Cinema. Nag's worry is that many lover boys like Uday Kiran, Tarun and Siddharth has no big deals in their career while heroes with mass-centric status are rocking in the tinsel town. Sukumar projected Chaitu one more time as a lover-boy with slight mass feel, is what it appears from 100% Love's teasers. Nagarjuna seems to be desperately looking for a 'Shiva' kind of stuff in Chaitu's life.
