Vinayak & Sukumar are 'Out'

Geetha Arts compound is shining in limelight from last few months with its dream projects of ‘100% Love’ and ‘Badrinath’ from directors Sukumar and vv vinayak respectively. With in a gap of less than one month, both the flicks have been released. While first was a wonder reaping high benefits, second is combating to break even with the high budget risked on it. It is quite fortunate that Sukku’s long time relation with Allu Arjun (Arya, Arya 2) and Aravind (100% Love) has come to temporary halt as he is now decided to work for other banners and other heroes. Contrary to this vv vinayak who is assumed to stay for one or two more years with the same compound after ‘Badrinath’ is also expected to take an exit pass. Difference is that, Sukku had a polite ‘Come Out’ but Vinayak had a forced ‘Get Out.’

Can Sukku deal Pawan Kalyan?

Sukumar has a creative brain that is aptly set for scripting and projecting love stories in different angles. All four movies that have come from his gifted thought process secured four different results. At this juncture Sukku seems to be grabbing a bumper offer of directing pawan kalyan, if reports from various other sources are relied upon.

Undoubtedly this will not be a regular combination because both Pawan and Sukku are like minded who dare upon touching the odd points in every story. They go through rigorous imagination series before finalizing a script. Now, title of the film being speculated as ‘Joker’ makes the project further more interesting. While commercial viability of this kind of titles is always a benefit of doubt question, with Allu Aravind being the producer no more queries to put forward in this aspect. Well, let us wait for further more official details on this ‘Joker.’

Pawan Kalyan bowled over by his creativity

We have reported to you earlier that Powerstar Pawan Kalyan is going to turn 'Joker' soon! Here is some more to it. How did this Joker come up out of nowhere? Pawan, who recently watched '100% Love' was bowled over by the director Sukumar's creativity and immediately called him up and talked at a length. Pawan didn't stop just there and showered praises upon him for making such a lovely movie. Allu Aravind who came to know about Pawan's impression on Sukumar, triggered the idea of bringing this combination together. According to sources, Allu Aravind has asked Sukumar if he has any storyline that suits Pawan Kalyan. He told 'Joker' line which was immensely liked by him. He felt that Pawan Kalyan will suit 'Joker' character to the T. Making a film with Joker title for someone of Powerstar's star status is a big risk and Sukumar is daring enough to take such a big risk. However, this project will take some time to make it to the sets. Sukumar is right now gearing up to do Hindi remake of '100% Love'. Pawan Kalyan too has 'Gabbar Singh' and 'Shadow' movies that blocked his diary till this year end. We have to wait and see when this interesting project will hit the sets.

Tollywood Director Blasting Film Critics

The job of a film critic is more or less like a scavenger. Despite trying hard to cleanse a particular system, the scavenger is still the most hated species.

Something similar is the situation of the film critics and right now, they are busy facing the music from a Tollywood director who is confident about his product.

He is none other than Sukumar, director of ‘100 Percent Love’. It is heard that he was sharing his thoughts off the record with his friends. He said “The critics have not done justice to ‘100 Percent Love’. They have not given any support to such a good project. This should get a genuine rating of 3.75 to 4 but they have misjudged it completely.”

It is heard Sukumar added “Who can do better than this?”. Well, the critics have no choice but to get the brickbats from directors and producers irrespective of the kind of projects they come up with. However, the truth remains that it is the audience who are the better judges and one of the critics who heard Sukumar’s anguish reportedly quipped that he should go by the public vote and not by the ratings.

Naga Chaitanya opened his eyes!!!

Finally this young hero realized the importance of Public Relations along with the marketing strategies he should undertake. Hero's keeping low profile and avoiding media and public functions due to their personal reason has to pay a heft sum. Naga Chaitanya opened his eyes now, it appears. There were situations in Telugu Industry, where star heroes cancelled their abroad shootings and personal works to attend the audio release and 100 days functions of their movies. However, due to some differences with producer Allu Aravind and director Sukumar, Chaitu escaped the audio release function of his upcoming flick '100% Love'. Afterwards, it is only 'Geetha Arts' and director 'Sukumar' to receive avid publicity through media, but Naga Chaitanya's name was not so extensively heard. For the same reason, the young hero left no stone unturned to rejoice his fans and gain that publicity by attending the triple platinum disc function of the flick. Way to go Naga Chaitanya!

Allu Aravind's Warning To Sukumar

When it comes to business acumen of cinema, the name of Allu Aravind comes first. Few cine folks even say he is quite cut throat when it comes to business and budgets for films being made under his banner. Recently, an insider with Allu’s banner Geetha Arts came up with this interesting information.

He said “Before starting the project ‘100% Percent Love’ Allu Aravind gave a strict warning to director Sukumar that the film should be done within time-scale. He also cautioned that even if the budget changes, he will be kicked. With getting a strong dose, Sukumar who usually takes his own sweet time was alert and the film was has done within the timeframe.”

The film is gearing up for release in next week and given the timelines that Sukumar has taken, this is a record of sorts, say the cine folks. But whether he was creative enough to score success at the box office is something we will know only after the film hits the screens. Wonder how Allu Aravind’s reaction will be if the film fails to click…

Suicide Stampede annoys '100% Love'

Ultimately Sukumar-Naga Chaitanya's upcoming flick '100% Love' is the most talked creative caper of this summer film fest. However, rather than enjoying those sweet comments about the film, the makers are quite annoyed with the 'Suicide-Stampede'. Another perfectionist in the Tinsel town, Puri Jagannadh is shaking Tollywood now, with the trailers of his upcoming flick 'Nenu Naa Rakshasi'. The concept of 'Suicide', the presence of macho-man Rana as a serial killer and sexy hour-glass beauty Ileana as a 'failed lover' in NNR's promotional material are shocking the audience. As per trade sources, if NNR rocks the BO with its different concept, the collections of '100% Love' will also get affected. Though Sukumar's flicks look like 'Slow Poison', Puri films are mostly 'instant winners'. Puri has also the history of shaking Tollywood with his suicide oriented film 'Itlu Sravani Subbrahmanyam'. One has to wait till the release of these two flicks to find out the real winner!
