Vinayak's lesson from 'Badrinath'

Vinayak's lesson from 'Badrinath'

Like director Rajamouli who learnt a lesson of his life with ‘Magadheera,’ now Film industry sources say that director vv vinayak has also learnt a new chapter of his profession with disturbing result of ‘Badrinath.’ Yes, if Rajamouli became experienced on how to handle a shoe-string budget and magnanimous success with ‘Magadheera,’ nevertheless Vinayak for the first time got acquaintance in dealing with big-hearted and suspicious success with ‘Badrinath.’
Clever knack of Rajamouli was even evidential when he selected a movie like ‘Maryada Ramanna’ next to ‘Magadheera’ thus decreasing the expectations with lowest star cast involved on the project. Now, Vinayak has to be utmost careful in opting the immediate subject and budget that is to succeed ‘Badrinath.’ Let us wait and see, where will Vinay Anna land now?

"Heroines are just glam dolls" says Top Director

If anyone has doubts on the statement that, Tollywood actresses are just glam dolls, then they should have a look at this.

Top director VV Vinayak has reacted to the criticism on using Tamanna, just to fill the glamour portion in the recently released magnum opus 'Badrinath'. The directed was not apprehensive is saying that they are hiring lead actresses just for songs, dance around the trees and play the hero’s love interest.

"We have been hiring lead actresses only for the songs and to fill the glamour portion. It's a fact that no one can rule out," says VV Vinayak.

It's very rare that an actress could get a performance oriented role in the Industry. Though Tollywood is a male-dominated industry, people expect few women centric films here and there. But, that's not happening.

There was a time when actresses used to be pivotal part of the script and were even paid more than the male actors. Sridevi is the best example for this, who went on to do powerful roles in commercial films. Let's hope that every actress would do atleast one performance oriented role in a year and atleast one women centric film in their career span.

That is the specialty of Vinayak

That is the specialty of Vinayak
There is a sea of difference between VV Vinayak and other directors. It is hard for any director or producer to accept the mistake or negative talk spread on their film in the market. In difference here is our ‘Badrinath’ director ready to accept the divided talk on his film in entire first week. Thanks that Vinay Anna has inherited the culture of estimating the success of film based only on profits made by producer but not the acceptance of public.
‘I was tensed about the first talk on film soon after the release. My one year hard work was thought to have gone wasted. But, collection figures provided by Allu Aravind garu are a matter of respite for our total team,’ said Vinayak. An intelligent statement where in there is an implied meaning that talk is bad but collections are good. Matter is that, one has to wait whether Allu Aravind will arrange similar kind of press and success meets in second and third weeks or not?

Vinayak & Sukumar are 'Out'

Vinayak & Sukumar are 'Out'
Geetha Arts compound is shining in limelight from last few months with its dream projects of ‘100% Love’ and ‘Badrinath’ from directors Sukumar and vv vinayak respectively. With in a gap of less than one month, both the flicks have been released. While first was a wonder reaping high benefits, second is combating to break even with the high budget risked on it.
It is quite fortunate that Sukku’s long time relation with Allu Arjun (Arya, Arya 2) and Aravind (100% Love) has come to temporary halt as he is now decided to work for other banners and other heroes. Contrary to this vv vinayak who is assumed to stay for one or two more years with the same compound after ‘Badrinath’ is also expected to take an exit pass. Difference is that, Sukku had a polite ‘Come Out’ but Vinayak had a forced ‘Get Out.’

Vinayak gets V V busy!

Vinayak gets V V busy!
True that none of the other projects from director Vinayak is officially confirmed after ‘Badrinath.’ Yet, he is still Very Very busy not with finalization of future projects but analyzing the blunders done in making of ‘Badrinath.’ Few of the sources in Film industry confirmed this news about Vinayak being so sportive to media’s ruthless criticism on his movie and himself. He is always considered as man of masses and every film till date delivered from his hands was applauded by audience except one film.

‘Apparently every director commits mistakes in each of their movies. Even Rajamouli studies his weak points in each of his films only to rectify and come out still more perfectly. Obviously Vinayak is also spending so much of time to EXAMINe the places where ‘Badrinath’ has really lost the track. Committing error is not a sin but repeating the same repeatedly is imperfection,’ said the above source. Wish that Vinay Anna has learnt a new chapter in his life with ‘Badrinath.’

Allu Aravind's Fingering Troubled Vinayak?

With the much hyped ‘Badrinath’ being renamed as ‘Shaktinath’ for its performance, all fingers are obviously pointing towards director V V Vinayak. However, putting the entire blame on a seasoned director like Vinay is not going well with few cine folks and they give their opinion.

A top league film chamber member who has been with the industry for long revealed “Usually Vinay doesn’t come up with such illogical flicks but looks like Allu Aravind’s fingering has spoiled ‘Badrinath’. I heard a similar thought from fans of Vinay. He has the ability to make his scenes very gripping.”

Another noted production manager said “Vinayak has come up with flicks like ‘Krishna’ ‘Aadi’ ‘Tagore’ ‘Lakshmi’ etc. Given his experience, there is remote chance that he went wrong with the script, I am sure it should be some involvement from Allu Aravind which did the mess.” Only Vinay knows the answer for that.

Pawan Kalyan called Vinayak for...?

Pawan Kalyan called Vinayak for...?

As our special sources in Film Nagar have already brought you the news about most probable cancellation or postponing of Ramcharan and VV Vinayak project, here is the latest one. Vinayak hasn’t lost the confidence on himself is trying to place the cards back in line after this flop talked ‘Badrinath.’ For the moment there are two to three storylines in finalization stages for Vinayak with various heroes in Mega compound. One such was with Ramcharan and there are two more.

In order not to see Vinayak loosing his courage, pawan kalyan is known to have assured him of doing a film with in this year without considering the fate of ‘Badrinath.’ A source close to Vinayak says like this. ‘Hits and flops are common in industry. Although ‘Badrinath’ is not such big failure, Vinayak doesn’t have to be blamed. Even Power Star called up Vinayak to encourage him on going forward with a project at the earliest possible. It is still uncertain as which one Vinayak accepts first.’ Wish that our action loving director comes back strongly with pawan kalyan.

Ramcharan Gave Hand To Vinayak

Though it is not different from other industries, the logic is clear. The entire film industry runs around success irrespective of talent. So, even if it is a highly talented director, if one cinema of his flops then not one soul cares to look at him for some time. Even senior producers tend to behave so blindly.

In this blind world, another blind decision has been taken. The Chiru camp was going all out announcing about a new project with Charan- V V Vinayak during the making of ‘Badrinath’. Now, they have gone silent. Moreover, grapevine is that Ramcharan is not keen on working with Vinayak. Apparently, he feels working with a new director is better choice than working with flop director.

Even Chiru’s strategists thought that if ‘Badrinath’ scores a hit then they will immediately take off with the Vinayak project. Their plan was to cash in on ‘Badrinath’ hit talk and use the table profit money from the distributors for this new film. Also, they wanted to do the film on Chiru’s own banner and keep the entire returns to themselves.

But ‘Badrinath’ became a dud and Chiru camp’s sketch misfired. Now, they are turning away their faces with the mention of the new project. It is heard that Charan is conveying through other sources that he will not work with Vinayak. Well…to those who don’t believe in themselves and rely on hit talks and combinations, what better decision can one expect.

Ram Charan, Vinayak’s film titled Cherry?

Ram Charan, Vinayak’s film titled Cherry?

Director V.V. Vinayak has directed a film Bunny with Allu Arjun, which is his pet name and scored a hit. Now, Vinayak is directing a new film with Ram Charan and is said to be following the same by titling the film as Cherry, which is Ram Charan’s pet name.

The script work for the film is under progress and the movie is said to be a family entertainer with action backdrop. Samantha is playing the female lead in the movie. DVV Danaya is producing the film on the banner Universal Media. Devi Sri Prasad has been roped in as the music director for the film. Cherry is all set to move onto the floors in the month of August. An official confirmation on the title of the film is expected though.

VV Vinayak Missed His Sentiment

Sentiments and success of films have a strong belief in the Tollywood circuit. So, there are many filmmakers who make it a point to have few actors, locations compulsory in every film of theirs. However, it appears that director V V Vinayak has missed out on his sentiment.
And this seems to have resulted in the poor show of his latest ‘Badrinath’. Apparently, there is always this actor in the picture who is seen in every V V Vinayak movie. However, he was not there in ‘Badrinath’ and many in film nagar are saying that he was not there that’s why the sentiment didn’t work.

The actor whose name is to be known speaks in distinct Telangana accent and entertains as villain’s sidekick. Lately, his presence has increased in many films owing to his style. Well, only Vinayak will know if the result of ‘Badrinath’ was due to the absence of his sentiment actor or any other reason.

Rajamouli Vs Vinayak Vs Meher Ramesh

Role models and inspirations are a common feature in the film industry. And the common statement you hear from many aspirants are “I want to become a director/producer/hero like him.” Well, right now, there are few noted names in the Tollywood directorial circuit and an analysis of sorts has been chalked between them. We are talking about S S Rajamouli, V V Vinayak and Meher Ramesh. Each director has their own calibre but what if they were to be compared, lets see..

According to a recent opinion taken from the cine fraternity and the audience, the unanimous feeling is that for Meher Ramesh to reach the league of V V Vinayak, he must take atleast 100 steps. For Vinayak to reach the league of Rajamouli, he must take atleast 200 steps. The best example for this hypothesis is their recent flicks - Shakti, Badrinath, Magadheera respectively. It is obvious that Ramesh’s Shakti, Vinayak’s Badrinath have been inspirations from Rajamouli’s Magadheera but Rajamouli’s inspiration is his own.

Keeping inspiration aside, for becoming a successful film maker, it is important to have indepth knowledge of the subject chosen, attention to detail, giving the right kind of dramatism to each scene, involving the audience into the film right from the start etc. these are few qualities which Rajamouli holds to a large extent and that’s why he has a strong connect with all genres of audience. As for Vinayak, he has good command over the pace of the film but most of the times, his content is masala oriented with many cinematic liberties, this appeals to the commercial audience.

Meher Ramesh can be tagged as a good technician but not a good story teller. His films like ‘Kantri’ ‘Billa’ ‘Shakti’ show a fair amount of technical standard but content and narration is really stale. Moreover, there is often a mass flavour observed in his treatment despite coming up with regular family oriented flicks.

Overall, Rajamouli has set a new benchmark be it family, commercial or mass oriented films and it can be said that Vinayak to an extent has the potential to reach Rajamouli’s standards. But Meher Ramesh needs a good amount of grooming if he has to make a mark as an efficient movie maker.

VV Vinayak not happy with Allu aravind

It is heard that V V Vinayak is not happy with the buzz that he is directing a new film with Ramcharan after ‘Badrinath’. Sources close to Vinayak reveal he is not keen on doing back to back films in the same camp as it is not good for his career.
With ‘Orange’ flopping and ‘Merupu’ getting stalled in between, Ram Charan is working with a director called Sampath Nandi which has damaged his image. Now, Vinayak is being brought to do some damage control.

Though Charan is doing a film with Vamsi Paidipalli, since Vamsi doesn’t have the stature of a big director, it is heard that Allu Aravind has come up with the plan of using Vinayak’s name for temporary basis. However, it is heard that Vinayak is unhappy with the official announcement being made like this since he has not even thought of a storyline.

VV Vinayak Shocked In Vizag

The noted director V V Vinayak is currently biting his nails as his movie ‘Badrinath’ is about to hit the screens. However, more than the tension of that, it is heard that he was in for a shock when he visited the steel city of Vizag. Well, here is the reason for that.

Sources say that there are huge hoardings of Allu Arjun and V V Vinayak and both are of same height. In between there is Tamannah in a small cut-out. Well, the reason for that is Vinayak has a theatre in Vizag and his good friend Rajamouli’s family along with Keeravani’s family is watching the film on the first day.

There is also a talk that Vinayak has got hand in the distribution of the film for Vizag area. Looking at the hungama in Vizag, many are asking doubtfully if the real hero for ‘Badrinath’ is Vinayak or Allu Arjun. The cine folks are quipping that the hero is only a magnet of the audience for the film but the real hero is the director.

Vinayak failed to analyse Rajamouli

Vinayak failed to analyse Rajamouli
Normally any director would come under high tension and get shaken physically when dealing with heavy budget flicks anything above Rs.35 Crores. In addition, if we have some body like Allu Aravind as producer and given the task to direct a film on par with the standards of ‘Magadheera,’ we can understand what could be the situation of VV Vinayak and what could be the position of ‘badrinath.’

Yes, we very well knew as what Rajamouli commented about Geetha Arts and Allu Aravind after the completion of ‘Magadheera.’ ‘I would never wish to work on this kind of colossal projects in future. This film is once for all in my career. Actually none of the directors would love to take the pain which I have undergone.’
Given the budget, number of working days, the magnanimity, kind of storyline…on every aspect, target of ‘badrinath’ will be to reach ‘Magadheera’…which might be done wantedly or unwantedly. Does this mean that Vinayak is also subjected to same kind of mental pressure as Rajamouli? This would certainly assert to Vinayak's failing to understand and analyse the stressed words of Rajamouli as said above.

Of course, it is the final result that matters. Let us wish that ‘badrinath’ stands on equal platform with ‘Magadheera’ or even a step above. Good luck to VV Vinayak and his team.

Will he replace Charan with Tarak?

Will he replace Charan with Tarak?
The decision of vv vinayak not to stick long time with any of the high profile camps in Film industry has become a big debate subject in Film Nagar circles. Obviously this was meant about Vinayak not getting the exit pass from Mega camp even after the completion of long time pending ‘Badrinath.’ Normally this sensational action loving director is known for shuttling between Nandamuri and Mega camps very often.

The attachment of Vinayak with Tarak is unconditional and any time their combination will have highest success percentage at BO. So, as soon as ‘Badrinath’ will be released, instead of doing a film with Ramcharan, it is heard that Vinayak is interested in shifting to Nandamuri camp and a film with Junior NTR could be the most possible event. Producer Kodali Nani is known to have expressed his solidarity to start the film any moment if Vinayak and Tarak say to go on. So, most probably Vinayak might replace Ramcharan with Junior NTR for his upcoming project, if buzz in industry is to be relied upon.

Vinayak Not Happy With Allu Aravind

It is heard that V V Vinayak is not happy with the buzz that he is directing a new film with Ramcharan after ‘Badrinath’. Sources close to Vinayak reveal he is not keen on doing back to back films in the same camp as it is not good for his career.

With ‘Orange’ flopping and ‘Merupu’ getting stalled in between, Ramcharan is working with a director called Sampath Nandi which has damaged his image. Now, Vinayak is being brought to do some damage control.

Allu Aravind's 'Sollu' records!

Allu Aravind's 'Sollu' records!
Allu Aravind is tensed like never before as his son's mega budget film 'Badrinath' is all set to release within few days. This movie is like do-or-die situation for Allu Arjun who is desperately seeking superstardom. Despite having good number of hits under his belt, Allu Arjun never attained the so called superstar status.

This stylish star needs a big hit which can collect over forty plus crore rupees to prove his business stamina. Allu family's only hope is 'Badrinath' and they are turning all the cards to make it a big hit. Allu Aravind proved a master of creating false hype for his films and he is using his skills to bluff people about Allu Arjun's star status.

It is being publicized that 'Badirnath' rights for Karnataka region were sold for a whopping Rs 6 crore rupees. But the fact is Allu Aravind himself is releasing this film in Karnataka region. So should we believe that he bought his won film for Rs. 6 crore? Allu Arjun and director Vinayak doesn't have a film which collected more than 2 crore in Karnataka. Then how come anyone would dare to buy 'Badrinath' for 6 crore? This is nothing but the 'Sollu' hype being generated by Allu's camp.

Badrinath sailing in Shakti ship!

Badrinath sailing in Shakti ship!
'Badrinath' is one of the few high budget films which were started immediately after the humongous success of 'Magadheera'. Industry sources claim that, Allu Aravind has spent lavishly on this movie. The production cost of 'Badrinath' is rumored to be around 45 crore rupees.

When Allu camp is feeling that 'Badrinath' will be one more 'Magadheera', neutral audience are busy in drawing comparisons between 'Badrinath' and 'Shakti'. Even 'Shakti' was made with the inspiration of Magadheera. Jr NTR did the role of a warrior in it. 'Badrinath' too looks similar to 'Magadheera' in this aspect.

'Shakti' was released simultaneously in Tamil and Malayalam. Ashwini Dutt did that mainly to recover the huge money spent on it. Allu Aravind too is releasing 'Badrinath' in other languages only to recover as much as he can. This act of desperation shows Dutt and Aravind's lack of confidence on their product. When 'Magadheera' made around 70 crores business only in Telugu why would 'Shakti' or 'Badrinath' need other markets support to recover the investment? Point to be noted your honor!

Directors testing audience's patience!

Directors testing audience's patience!
These are days where audiences are expecting creative intelligence to make a flick create records at the BO. To fulfill their desires, film makers are coming up with unique content to mint money. While some are clicking, others are evaporating in the air in the first week of their release.

Trends changed with the advent of young and energetic hero Ram Charan's 'Magadheera'. Director Rajamouli etched the best out of Ram Charan for a superb content with his creative vision and artistic taste. After seeing the grand success of 'Magadheera', many directors took the same way to score an equivalent hit. First to come is veteran director Raghavendra Rao Son, Prakash's 'Anaganaga O Dheerudu'. Touted to be a fantasy flick, no part of the movie enchanted the audience despite of the big tags like Disney, Siddharth, Shruti Hassan attached with it. The flick tested the patience of audience before joining the group of below average grosser.

Then, there comes this 'Shakti', directed by Meher Ramesh that has Jr NTR in the lead. Though the movie starts on a powerful note with interesting 'Shakti Peetam' concept, the plot lacks depth alongside pale narration. The high openings received by 'Shakti' cannot pull the entire investment of producer Ashwini Dutt back is the bottom line for this flick. Now, Allu Arjun's flick 'Badrinath' under the direction of VV Vinayak is coming to test the serenity of movie-lovers. When will our directors show their originality rather than torturing audience with their copy-cat ideas, is a million dollar question that is to be answered.
