Star Hero fined for smoking in public

Bollywood Superstar Salman Khan, who is shooting for his forthcoming film 'Bodyguard' in punjab, landed in trouble on Tuesday with the local administration penalising him for smoking in public place at a hotel. Taking cognizance of his photograph published in a daily, the Patiala district administration issued a notice (challan) to Salman Khan on late Tuesday, which was coincidentally observed as World No Tobacco Day. "We have issued challan on the basis of a photograph, showing Salman smoking at a public place in a hotel, published in a newspaper on Saturday. We have also issued a warning to the hotel authorities," said an official. A crew member of the film's production unit received the challan on Salman's behalf. The star or his representative will now have to appear before the district magistrate, who may decide the penalty amount. Earlier, Doctors have advised Salman Khan to give up smoking as it would cause a great harm to his health. In the past,  Salman Khan promised to give up smoking several times but he failed to keep his words. Let's see whether this time, he will be able to keep up his promise or not.

Rajinikanth's Rana in danger

Superstar Rajinikanth's upcoming movie 'Rana' is in big trouble says Kollywood rumor mills. As Rajini is suffering from ill health for the past ten days, 'Rana' shoot didn't start as per the schedule. It can be recalled that Rajini fell ill on the launching day of 'Rana' and was rushed to the hospital. He was discharged within couple of days but fell ill again and is being treated in hospital since then. The latest we hear is Rajini has been referred to specialists in US and he would be leaving to America soon. 'Rana' schedules were disturbed by this and as there are more than hundred crore rupees running on it, makers are worrying a lot about Rajini's health. "What if he seriously falls ill during mid way of the shoot?" is their biggest worry. Knowing about his health condition better than any, even Rajini might think twice about doing this film. 'Rana' requires so much physical stress and strain and Rajinikanth is right now not fully fit for it.

Why did Mahesh Babu stop tweeting on a regular basis? Mahesh is the one who pulled many Telugu people on to this social networking website. He created a sensation in his early days of tweeting. Usually, Mahesh is a very private person who speaks less about his personal life. He used to interact less with his fans in the past. Apparently, it was in yester generations that heroes like NTR, ANR and other legendary personalities passed in bringing mythological and historical concepts on screen. In this time period Mani Ratnam planned of bringing an on screen form to 'Ponniyin Selvan', a novel based on historical evidences of Tamil Nadu. This film which has the involvement of a mega budget of over Rs.100 Crores is now heard to be abandoned for the sake of high budget. Ace director Mani Ratnam's year long hard work will be poured into dustbin along with shining star cast of Mahesh Babu, Vijay, Anushka and Priyanka Chopra will be surely disappointed. Neither any of the official reason is given for this sudden shelving nor is the production firm concerned with the project ready to open up the reason. Internal sources support that financial backing of this premier production house is the reason behind renouncing this dream project of Mahesh Babu and Mani Ratnam.

Actor's face tattooed on fan's back

A Hrithik Roshan fan wanted to prove his love for his idol by making something permanent, so he flew into Mumbai from Delhi just to have the actor's face tattooed on his back. This impromptu trip by Sachin Bhatnagar, who works in a private firm, was a complete surprise to his unsuspecting wife Rekha. Bhatnagar got the tattoo done in the afternoon and then flew back to Delhi the same night. "Initially, he wasn't taking off his shirt in front of his wife for a few days. But how long could he hide it? When she finally saw the tattoo, his back was swollen and red. Hrithik's picture staring in front of her eyes added to her shock. Now she is okay," said a source. "Yes, Rekha is okay now. In fact, she even applies the cream, which I need to put on the tattoo," said Bhatnagar. When asked if Rekha shares the same passion for Hrithik, he said: "Yes. She likes him because I like him. I have seen all his films several times. I wanted to be a part of the dance show Hrithik is judging (Just Dance). I went to Mumbai for that too, but nothing happened. Frankly, I was expelled in the preliminary audition stage itself," he added.
