Siddarth: 'TV Media Cannot Pluck My Hair'

It has often been said by the film nagar folks that actor Siddarth is a talented individual but it is his attitude and headstrong nature which is not getting him favourable response. Now, his recent set of statements in Twitter on the Telugu news channels has triggered another controversy. However, the actor doesn’t seem too fazed about it.

Apparently, the news channels association has demanded an action on Siddarth for his statements. Knowing this, Sidz is reportedly saying this in front of his friends “TV Media or cine circuit cannot pluck my hair. Earlier, they jumped against Prakash Raj, what happened? I don’t want to take my tweet back. Ultimately, talent matters in the cinema industry.”

He added “For what I have the cine folks will always take me. Even if the media projects me on positive or negative note, I will be taken.” Those who heard this are saying “Siddarth’s reaction like this in front of his friends is okay. Let us see if he does the same in front of the media also.”

TV Channels Association Make Siddarth 'Piss'

It is known that actor Siddarth wrote in his twitter, "3rd grade News Channels will sell their families to make up an hour of TV. Clarifying their garbage and lies is not worth our time".

Reacting to this, the TV channel journalists have raised an agitation against the actor.

Addressing to The President, MAA, the Film Newscasters Association of Electronic Media wrote, "This is to bring it to your kind notice that Actor Siddarth is having a habit of making derogatory statements frequently against the journalists. Recently he has posted some derogatory remarks against the Telugu News Channels in his twitter page. This is not the first time he is making the negative statements against the Telugu News Channels and the Journalists and persons and also had caused serious damage to the reputation and the dignity of our profession. Hence we would request you to do the needful for taking necessary action against Actor Siddarth, failure in which we from the Film Newscasters Association of Electronic Media will be forced to initiate suitable action against him".

So, we have to see if Siddarth really pisses in his trousers and says 'sorry' to TV media!!

'He is and always will be the best': Siddharth

Actor Siddharth is in awe of actor Aamir Khan and can't stop heaping praises for his item song in his upcoming production venture "Delhi Belly".

"Aamir Khan's item number for 'Delhi Belly' is the most iconic contribution by a producer I have ever seen. He is and always will be the best," Siddharth posted on microblogging site Twitter.

Siddharth has previously worked with Aamir in 2006 film "Rang De Basanti".

Siddharth to become a Producer!

With decreasing fancy offers as lead artist, here is our hero Siddahrth trying to don a new role as Producer. As his flick ‘180’ is slated for release in next two days, Sid revealed his new plans to start his own production house very soon. With everyone from Manchu, Daggubati to Allu and Nandamuri heroes running their own production banners, even siddharth didn’t want to be left behind. Although currently busy signing few distribution deals for his own and others films, siddharth announced that he will start producing movies very soon. Of course name of his production banner is yet to be finalized but he is decided to encourage young and fresh talents in industry through this banner. ‘I want movies from my production house to be different, interesting and creative. I wants to start off making films with young, creative writers and wants to give them a new life,’ said siddharth. This is indeed as ‘180’ degrees turn for a hero to become producer!

"I have been linked with dozen Actresses"

He is one guy who can allure any girl who sees him with his romantic smile and passionate expressions. Siddharth, the romantc hero of southern cinema is the most talked guy these days for his alleged link-up with glamour diva Shruti Hassan. However, the lover buy denies relationship with Shruti.      "Shruti is just my co-star in one of my forthcoming film. Rumours are always rumours! I have been linked with minimum of dozen actresses in the past and so I don't take them to the heart. It is quite common for film stars to be linked with co-stars," says Sid, on reacting to the gossips about his live-in relationship with Shruti. But, why Shruti always refused to talk about her alleged link-up with Sid, if there is nothing between them. She just kept on saying, her personal life is nobody’s business. This statement by Shruti has given the impression to the media that there is something between them. Whether Sid is speaking out the truth or Shruti is hiding the truth - is a million dollar question now!

Classic example for Siddharth's stupidity

Lover boy Siddharth is infamous for his egoistic nature and arrogance. He has already developed many enemies in Tollywood industry with his nature, says grapevine. His arrogance is visible in most of his tweets too. He tries to prove that he has very good knowledge on everything that happens on earth and may be beyond it too. Here is the latest incident that shows Sid's stupidity. In the recently concluded CCL tourney, Siddharth has thrown many tantrums to his fellow players as he felt that he is the big star in the team next to Venkatesh. As the tourney was named 'Celebrity Cricket League' he insisted that all the 'celebrities' should be part of the team without caring much about their cricketing skills. But the team management didn’t bother about Siddharth's opinion and only picked the best team. The team owner Vishnu and actors like Srikanth too sat out for the game against Karnataka Bulldozers. Due to his bad performances in the previous matches they have decided to keep Siddharth out of the team it seems. When he learnt about this Siddharth stayed away from the last match citing ‘busy schedule’ and has texted to few of his teammates that he was hurt by the decision to keep him out. After Chennai won the CCL trophy Sid tweeted - "A team of 11 players who have all been solo lead actors won the 1st CCL. Good start for a celeb cricket league:) well played chennai rhinos!". This clearly indicates that Siddharth is not happy with the inclusion of lesser known actors in the Tollywood team. But what have his 'celebrity status' done to the team. He hardly clicked with bat and ball except for taking a brilliant catch in the match against Mumbai heroes. Grow up Sid!

Sid's self-dabba to catch Producers!!!

With a string of flops in the sprawling career, he is not making any good brownie points at the Box Office despite of hard work. Romantic hero Siddharth is now throwing his nets to catch producers. Off late, the fact that he is becoming a flop hero for aspiring directors and producers is killing him it appears. Sid is currently shouting loud everywhere that he has five films in three different languages on hand. He is also giving a coloring that he is breaking heads to allocate dates for the next eight months. "Desperately trying to allocate dates for 5 films in 3 languages in the next 8 months. After the shock given by Telugu audience in the name of 'Baava', Siddharth is trying his level best to pull openings for his upcoming '180'. Sid's affair with Shruti Hassan, his sexy co-star of 'Anaganaga O Dheerudu' is going pale these days as none of them is making big in Films. To make his upcoming flick '180' reach all corners, Sid came up with an idea of 'Lip-Kiss MMS' to circulate all over the web. Insiders revealed that Sid has planned a french kiss with sexy damsel Priya Anand to record it on mobile for releasing to the internet. This might surely rake up audience interest over the hot pair and will pull them to the theatres of '180'. However, Shruti is completely against such 'wicked' ideas and forced the hero to drop his plans, say sources. Poor Siddharth! Believe in content rather than in a MMS.

Siddarth Tortured Friend Wildly

Siddarth is one actor who is not only good at making the girls swoon over him but also likes to keep himself busy with few culinary skills. However, not all talents can be embedded into one and that is something this southern stud should realize. The reason we say this is due to the following incident.

It is heard that recently Sidz invited a friend of his for dinner at his home. Not stopping at that, he only cooked Dal Tadka and Butter Chicken and put it in twitter as well with the following messages just after cooking–

“Butter chicken & Dal Tadka polished off...better burn it off in practice today ;) one more off day & then 30 days of non stop activity!”

“Spent the morning cooking:). Recreating dhaba food...very good results & you have to believe me on this one:) cooking is therapeutic!’

Now, it seems that even the friend also said it is good.

The friend also said to Sidz, “You are good at cooking. You would have become chef but fortunately became actor”

Sidz took that as compliment but missed the satire in that. The friend meant, ‘fortunately you became an actor’ has straight meaning. Since, the people are fortunate, he didn’t become Chef.

It seems the same friend is coming out and saying that it was torture. He is telling off the record that the butter chicken smelled bad and unbearable for not adding proper masala. The friend has reportedly said that it was cooked terribly.

Going by this, one can understand while it was therapeutic for Sidz, it was pathetic for his guest.

Siddarth's Gyan From IPL!!

The Indian Premier League (IPL) cricket tournament is in the final stages and while most of them have had their share of fun, here is someone who seems to have learnt a lesson or two from it. He is none other than Siddarth and all the learning was seen in his twitter.

Apparently, Sidz was there to watch the first play-off between Chennai and Bangalore team. Given his passion for cricket, he was fully involved in the match but gave his online comments. Following are few of his tweets-

“This is the greatest team in the IPL, ever. If anyone else wins, it will be a travesty. Chennai team, I salute you. Whistle podu, period! Epic game!”

“One of the best games of cricket ever. Three finals in four years. The Chennai team is legend. I don’t think any other team could have done it. Not this year!!”

This might sound like a heartbreaking news to the many female admirers of hero Siddarth but if sources are to be believed, he does have a lady in his life. And she is no ordinary plain Jane, she is none other than Shruti Haasan. Well, rumors have been making strong rounds over the past one year about their affair and here is another update.

It is heard that both Sidz and Shruti were spotted recently at Kerala. A source revealed that both of them checked into a five star hotel and are planning to stay till April 17th. Though media has been honking about the affair, both Sidz and Shruti have been keeping a silent stand on that.

Inside talk is that Shruti has already introduced Siddarth to her parents and he gets along well with Shruti’s sister too. Actress Shruti Hassan is said to have fallen for the charms of Siddharth, it is rumoured in hushed tones in Tollywood circles. Kamal Hassan’s elder daughter is presently starring in her second film in Telugu opposite Siddharth. Tollywood sources say that the fact that they have been paired again despite the failure of Shruti’s debut film in Telugu opposite Siddharth ‘means’ a lot.

Siddharth, who recently divorced his wife, hasn’t yet gone public about the reported affair. Shruti too, on her part, neither denied nor accepted the existence of such an ‘affair’. Shruti is presently working round-the-clock for A.R Murugadoss’ ‘7am Arivu’ opposite Suriya which would mark her debut in Kollywood as a heroine.

This young director is said to be having a producer who is holding dates of Siddharth to make a movie. ‘O My Friend’ begins regular shooting

Titled ‘O My Friend’ directed by a debutant Venu Sriram and produced by Dil Raju on the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations, with Siddhartha and Shruti Haasan in the lead and Hansika and Navadeep in the second lead, has begun its shooting recently.

The regular shooting of the film has begun recently. The combination of Dil Raju and Siddhartha is repeating for the second time after ‘Bommarillu’. Likewise the combination of the Siddhu and Shruti is repeating after ‘Anaganaga O Dheerudu’.

Shruti Haasan is reportedly started learning Kuchipudi dance for the movie. The film would have friendship in its backdrop as the title denotes the same.

Siddharth and Dil Raju movie on sets

Siddharth, Shruti Haasan’s tentatively titled film O My Friend has kicked- off its shoot from today. Hansika and Navadeep will also be seen in vital roles in the movie. Debutant Venu Sriram will handle the megaphone for the film and Dil Raju is producing it on Sri Venkateshwara Creations banner.Venu Sriram has earlier worked in direction department in Dil Raju’s films.O My Friend is Siddharth’s second film with Dil Raju after the mega hit Bommarillu and also his second flick with Shruti Haasan after the recently released film Anaganaga O Dheerudu.As the title says, the movie is said to be based on the value of friendship.

Siddharth and Sruthi are back

Sruthi Haasan made debut in Telugu opposite Siddharth in Anaganaga O Dheerudu. Although the film didn't become a hit, their chemistry was appreciated. So they duo are back together for another film. Sruthi Haasan now replaces Nitya Menon in producer Dil Raju's new film with Siddharth, which is tentatively titled O My Friend. 

Initially, Bollywood actress Amrita Rao was chosen for this film but she opted out for various reasons. Then Nitya Menon of Ala Modalindi fame stepped in. But finally, Sruthi Haasan has signed the movie and she is the female lead in this two heroines movie.

Debutant director Venu Sriram directs the movie.
