Director's 'F' To Torture Pregnant Aish

Director Madhur Bhandarkar has dreamt very big and was on cloud nine till a few weeks ago. But he quaked with fear and all his dreams were shattered listening to the Aish’s pregnancy news. He was happy earlier because Aish agreed to act in the most ravishing role in his new film. He also shot the film for 10 days burning up to 4 Cr at a Red Light Area set in Mumbai.

Since Aish needs to act in smoking scenes and waterfall scenes along with two hard core item songs, he Fears to continue with her. His Fear to torture pregnant Aish puts him down.

Hence he decided to shelve the project. He cannot complete the film in brisk pace as he is quality conscious. And he cannot postpone the film as well as he is not sure which shape would Aish acquire after delivery. Even though he compromises and completes Aish’s part in brisk pace, it is sure that she cannot help him in promotion by the time film releases.

Hence he is down and shelving the project, say sources.

The shooting of Aishwarya Rai's much talked film 'Heroine', has been stalled after shooting for 6 days. The makers are reportedly looking for the replacement of Aishwarya Rai, after coming to know that the beauty queen was pregnant. "It's a very dark and stark script with lots of really intense moments for the leading lady. The director is worried that Aishwarya's pregnancy may make it tough for her to go through the emotional turmoil that her character would need to project," said a source close to the unit. The film was planned to make in a modest budgeted of 15 crores. Now, with the search of new heroine for the movie, the six days shooting expense is a complete washout. Besides this Heroine was launched with fanfare at the Cannes Film Festival in May 2011. Obviously the entire travel, lodging and PR expenses on this account are a loss too. The film 'Heroine' showcases the ups and downs of an actress in her career span.

Ex-boyfriend congratulates Aishwarya Rai

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has taken some time to congratulate Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan as they are expecting their first child. "I congratulate Aishwarya and Abhishek. I would like to congratulate Mr. Bachchan that he is going to become a grandfather. I've become a chacha. I wish they have 7 kids. I hope they make a whole football team. I am happy for the Dadaji (Amitabh Bachchan)," Salman told reporters here at an event to launch a Blackberry application. Ash and Salman began dating in 1999 during the filming of 'Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam' and after much hype they called off their relationship in 2001. The actor reportedly physically and verbally abused Ash and even slapped her on the sets of a film. "I don't think that there is a word called love. There is a word called 'need'. A girl will not reciprocate the love, till she feels the need for the guy," said Salman, in one of his interview after break-up with Ash. Ash married Abhishek April 20, 2007.

Exception For Aishwarya!!

He is perhaps the torchbearer of reverse engineering and antagonism in the new era. So, it is not a surprise that anything he says and does is bound to raise few eyebrows. For Hema, Aishwarya is the 'dream girl'

Bollywood's original 'Dream Girl' and veteran actress Hema Malini, says she would like to pass this coveted title to former beauty queen Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

Hema said that if she had to select a 'Dream Girl' among today's actresses then she would definitely go for Ash.

"All actress are more than a dream girl today...they are very high and way above it. Each and every girl is very beautiful. They all have made a name for themselves specially Aishwarya. I will give the title to her," Hema said.

On a lighter note, the 62-year-old actress said, Aishwarya will have to pay me a crore for the precious label I have carried with dignity, all these years.

Hema, who is looking forward to her upcoming film Bbuddah... Hoga Tera Baap, will be seen alongside megastar Amitabh Bachchan. The film releases on July 1. (PTI)

Aishwarya Rai's pregnancy news made everyone happy except Madhur Bhandarkar.While the actress had given a commitment to him that she would complete her film,'Heroine' ,the unit is trying to find a way of fitting a pregnant Ash into the script.While Ash will complete her shooting commitments and then take a sabbatical from work, Madhur is apparently more worried about her look in the film. "The buzz is that Ash is four months due and right now looking as slim as ever but she will put on weight in another month. So Madhur's dilemma is about fitting in a pregnant Ash into the script as the story is a hard-hitting and realistic take on an actress's life. Based on the life and times of Mahi, a B-Town superstar, the film is a behind-the-scenes account of the reality behind the world of glitter and glamour. It is a challenging role because the story of the film goes through several periods of Mahi's life."          Apparently, one way of Madhur's fitting a pregnant Ash into the film is asking her to put on weight for the character. "Ash has been asked by the director to put on weight for some of the scenes of the film during her low phases as her character in Heroine goes through various phases. There is a phase where she is very insecure about her position in the industry so she takes to alcohol. Obviously, when you start drinking you start to puff up and gain weight. That's one way of Madhur's trying to weave Ash putting on weight in her real life into the film."

Once the true lover of Aishwarya Rai, today salman khan expressed heart felt happiness for his first girl friend’s pregnancy. We checked with astro-numerologist Bhavikk Sangghvi on what do the numbers says about Ab Baby's baby.

"I had already predicted way back in November 2010, that Aishwarya Rai would embrace 'motherhood' in 2011", claims Bhavikk Sangghvi. So will it be a boy or a girl we ask him and he says, "In all probability, it will be a baby girl.

"Aishwarya Rai's 'destiny' number adds up to Number 5 (Mercury – 1st November 1973) and Abhishek's ruling number also remains the same (5th February 1976)", he explains.

"Its symbol is represented as twins. So don't be surprised if they have duplets. Even otherwise, Gemini is considered to be a 'feminine' star sign and the chances of a female child are much higher".

"Not to mention, the baby would be angelic looking just like her mom; but she will adapt her height from her father's side", describes Bhavikk about the yet-to-be-born features.

Aishwarya pregnant, says Big B

Bollywood diva Aishwarya Rai is in the family way, says her father-in-law and Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan.

"NEWS NEWS NEWS !! I AM GOING TO BECOME A GRANDFATHER .. AISHWARYA EXPECTING .. SO HAPPY AND THRILLED, (sic)" Amitabh posted on his Twitter account.

Ever since Amitabh posted the message on the microblogging site, congratulatory messages have started pouring in.

Aishwarya, 37, and Abhishek, 35, were married in 2007 and as soon as they tied the knot, the rumours of Aishwarya getting pregnant have been making the news. And finally she is expecting.

"Yes, it is true," Ash's spokesperson said, confirming the news.

"He knows about my beauty and I knew about his"

Beauty queen Aishwarya Rai has clarified that no one has the necessity to appreciate her beauty, other than her husband Abhishek. "I know about my beauty. My husband knows it. I don't care even if others do not know about it. Abhi knows about my beauty and I know about his. I will be happy if my husband appreciates my beauty and there is no need for any one else to do it. I will not feel elated by such remarks," says Aiswarya Rai. The context for Aish's reaction is Ram Gopal Varma's comments on her in Twitter. "The most beautiful woman in the world will be just meat to a lion and the most beautiful lioness will be just a lion to us," said RGV in his previous tweet. However, Aish made it clear that it would be better if someone praises a single woman, rather than married woman. According to the reliable sources, Aishwarya and Abhishek are expecting a baby. Abhi's recent tweet confirms it: "@juniorbachchan: Alright gotta put the dancing shoes... BIG B IN DA HOUSE!!!! with a 'little' support from junior!" Aishwarya Celebrates 'Hot' Party!!!

It was party time at the household of Aishwarya Rai. Well, sources say she had a real ‘hot’ party and by that we mean literally.

Apparently, it was the birthday of Ash’s mommy Vrinda Rai and the birthday girl turned 60 recently. So, the occasion was special and it was done in a special way.

It is heard that the venue for the party was Goa. Aishwarya was accompanied by her brother, sister-in-law, cousins, uncles and aunts. The celebrations were on for three full days and it is heard that most of them were basking in the hot sun and making the most of it.

The icing on the cake was when Abhishek Bachchan dropped in at the right time and became a part of the celebrations. All in all, it was a grand gala bash with a lot of Goa heat, as per sources.

Ash is gearing up to be Madhur's Heroine

She may be playing a 'heroine' in the namesake film and hence would be pretty much looking forward to merging her real and reel life together. However, even Aishwarya Rai understands that it isn't going to be one of those affairs where she would be having all fun and play during the time that she spends on the sets. With the film carrying an intense dramatic appeal, she is already getting into a frame of mind and preparing herself for the gruelling times ahead.

"Heroine is an entertainer for sure but to get it right for the audience, there are numerous intense sequences in the film. Some of these are so shocking that even Ash, who has been in the industry for close to a decade and a half, was left with eyes wide open. She had heard such stories before but when Madhur Bhandarkar narrated them to her and also added that such sequences would be an integral part of the film, Ash knew that this would be perhaps the most challenging role ever of her career", informs a senior member from the film's writing team. 

Ash had all the right reasons to believe that things won't really get lost in translation as they move from the written word to the visuals. 

"Madhur is quite a taskmaster and has always made his 'heroines' do something totally different from what they have done in the past, regardless of the reputation that they may have gained from their earlier work", the source adds, "Whether it is Tabu (Chandni Bar), Priyanka Chopra & Kangna (Fashion), Bipasha Basu (Corporate), Konkona Sen (Page 3) or Raveena Tandon (Satta), each of these women have not just delivered one of their best performances ever in his films but have also added quite a few awards in their kitty. There is no reason why Ash won't be thinking of achieving the same." 

Ash deliberated for quite a while before she consented to play the central protagonist in Heroine. In fact after doing five films in 2010 (Raavan - Hindi, Raavan - Tamil, Endhiran/Robot (dubbed), Action Replayy and Guzaarish), she chose to lie low for quite some time before. Heroine too was on her radar for quite some time and it was only early this year when she started getting serious about doing the film. This despite the fact that she pretty much knows it won't be easy shooting for the film. 

"It would be after 8-9 months that Ash would be facing the camera", a source adds, "She took a break as she wanted to make her choice very carefully. At that stage of her career where she can leave more roles than the ones she chooses to pick, 37 year old Ash gave her nod of approval to Heroine as she thought that the time was ripe for her to take further risks. She can't be seen in frivolous cinema at all." 

On being contacted, Madhur refused to talk about Ash's role and the film's plot. He says, "It is all too early. All I can say is that we begin shooting in first week of June. When Heroine gets closer to release, we will reveal more on what the film is all about."
