Chiranjeevi: 'My Aim At Chief Minister Seat'

The secret ambition of the actor-turned-politician Chiranjeevi has come out in the open!  He wants to become the Chief Minister of the state.
“The people want to see me as Chief Minister,” he declared on Tuesday in comments that lay bare his intentions behind merging his 30 month old Praja Rajyam Party with the Congress. He also announced that he would quit acting and devote full time for politics.
“Though I had earlier expressed my desire to resume acting, I have now decided to quit films and concentrate full-time on politics,” Chiranjeevi said.
“Instead of playing the role of a CM in movies, I want to become CM in real life,” he said. While declaring his son Ramcharan Teja as his successor in acting, the ageing star made it clear that he would strive to be in the midst of people and solve their problems.
”I will be more comfortable as CM in real life than playing the role in a movie,” he declared while participating in a private function in Hyderabad. His sensational comments came at a time when he is tipped for a cabinet berth at the Centre in return for merging his PRP with Congress.
One gets the doubt whether the Congress central leadership has promised Chiranjeevi to project him as the Chief Ministerial candidate in the 2014 elections.
There is a perception in political circles that the Reddy community, the traditional support base of Congress, is slipping away from the ruling party and would eventually gravitate towards YSR Congress Party headed by Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy. The Congress is desperate to woo other sections and also add glamour quotient to it.

Comment: Don't build castles in air, Mr Chiru!

Newly-inducted Congress leader K Chiranjeevi appears to be too ambitious about his political career and considering himself a god-sent gift to the Andhra politics.
The political circles were taken by surprise with his comment that the people want to see him as Chief Minister in the real life and not in reel life and that he would ascend the throne sooner or later.
Call it an audacious or an arrogant or an ambitious statement; but it is pretty evident that Chiranjeevi is imagining too big about himself.
Just because Congress president Sonia Gandhi had personally requested him to merge his Praja Rajyam Party with her party; just because a senior most leader like A K Antony airdashed to Hyderabad to exclusively meet him in Hyderabad and just because, he was invited to New Delhi a couple of times for a brain-storming meeting with the top leaders of the Congress high command, Chiranjeevi feels that the Congresss party had no other leader who could match him in charisma and popularity; and hence, he stands a fair chance of becoming the chief minister.
But poor Chiranjeevi seems to be unaware of the Congress style of politics. In this party, everybody is a leader and everybody wants to outsmart others to rise to the hot seat. Already, Kadapa MP Y S Jaganmohan Reddy left the Congress party just because he was denied the Chief Minister post and floated his own regional party – YSR Congress Party – to try his luck by going into the people. Pradesh Congress Committee president Botsa Satyanarayana has already expressed his ambition to become the chief minister one day or the other for which he has already started preparing the ground. There are many others who are in the queue – K Jana Reddy, D Srinivas, Lagadapti Rajagopal and Daggubati Purandeshwari, who have never hidden their ambitions to become the chief ministers.
Secondly, Chiranjeevi has proved himself a flop show in politics. In his first attempt itself, he lost the elections from his native town Palakole in West Godavari district and won with not-so-impressive margin in Tirupati. And going by the field reports, it is extremely difficult for Chiranjeevi to retain the Tirupati seat again in the next elections, given the emergence of YSR Congress party as a strong political force in this constituency. One doubts whether Chiranjeevi will dare contest from Tirupati again.
And yes, there is still some chance for Chiranjeevi. Now that he has merged his party with the Congress, he has to resign from his assembly seat and contest again from Tirupati. If he can win with a comfortable majority, then he can still project himself as a strong force and can stake claim for the Chief Minister post. But in the present circumstances, it is most unlikely to happen.
So, it is better Chiranjeevi stop building castles in air, move to the Centre as a Rajya Sabha member and enjoy the Cabinet berth offered to him in the next three years. One does not know what his fate would be after the three years.
Otherwise, it is better Chiranjeevi keep his options open on acting in films. That would still get him name, fame and money!

Chiranjeevi's Focus On Kedarnath

Chiranjeevi may not be a success in politics and his return to films may not be a reality but he has enough hold in the Tollywood circuit that a gentle push from him can change careers for a few. Right now, it is heard that he has focused on one person and his name is Kedarnath.

Kedarnath is a budding lyricist and he happens to be the grandson of Ogeti Parikshit Sharma, the esteemed Sanskrit scholar who is remembered for his famous book ‘Pareekshinnaataka Chakram’. He is also a Kendra Sahitya academy award winner and is highly regarded in the world of Sanskrit scholars.

Earlier, Chiru gave a push to Ananth Sriram and the graph of this lyricist has been on the peak ever since. Now, sources say he is giving push to Kedarnath by giving him a chance to pen the songs for the film ‘Rachcha’ starring Ramcharan Tej. Kedarnath has already given a taste of his pen as he worked in films like ‘Arya 2’ ‘Alasyam Amrutham’.

Rajinikanth Vs Chiranjeevi Vs Ravi Teja

They may be belonging to different eras and different circuits but they share something unique in common. We are talking about the trio of Rajinikanth, Chiranjeevi and Ravi Teja. The thing that gets them together is their success rate and before that, their discipline in their profession.

As such, all three have come without any background and reached the top in film world. Usually, during shootings, once the shot is ready heroes come after few minutes taking their own time and doing unwanted gossips. But it is heard that these three keenly wait for the cameraman to say ‘shot ready’ and get on with work.

Also, all three of them have the habit of reporting to sets 30 minutes before the given time. That is the reason for their success. Interestingly, they show the same dedication even after reaching the top level. Sources say that even if it gets late the earlier night due to a late shoot, they make it a point to report on time for shooting the next day.

Star Hero's wife hates Chiranjeevi

Star Hero's wife hates Chiranjeevi
Like many persons who belong to the 'C' group, Jr NTR's wife Lakshmi Pranathi too hates Megastar Chiranjeevi to the core. She was never a fan of Mr. Chiranjeevi for obvious reasons right from her schooldays. When her marriage was fixed with NTR the hatred on Chiru only multiplied says the gossip winery.

Pranathi who can't even stand the presence of Chiranjeevi didn't even try to make an eye contact with him or his son Charan when they came to wish her and NTR on their marriage stage. She simply took off her eyes from Chiranjeevi and didn't bother to respond with a 'Namaskaram' when Chiru greeted her with one.

Lakshmi Pranathi wants to see her husband as the number one hero as she was fed up hearing that Chiranjeevi is the number one hero of Andhra right from her childhood. Well, this is just a gossip that has been making rounds in filmnagar and we don't know how true it is.

Chiranjeevi's 'M- Mania' Buried His Image

With each passing day, Chiranjeevi seems to be planting the nails to a coffin that will bury his reputation and image.
Already, his failed stint as a politician and the many embarrassing situations he faced during this tenure are classic examples. However, it appears that the megastar is yet to learn from his mistakes.
The reason we say this is after few talks with sources close to him. Incidentally, Chiru is yet to come out of one more thing- the money mania.

A source who has been with Chiru and a well-wisher since many years revealed “He has earned a lot as megastar but still that money thing didn’t die. If he failed in politics he should have quit the line or worked determinedly towards his ideals and uplifted his party. Instead, he has shut down PRP and merged it with congress. This only goes to show his craving for money. Already, he is indicating the high command in Delhi to seek the union cabinet berth for the shipping ministry. Even this choice is made after few of his close circles have informed that there is a lot of money in this.”

Going by the above, this clearly shows Chiru’s money mania. Whatever reputation he has earned for the last 30 years he has lost it.
Not stopping at that, he is now making his life miserable despite being rich. Whether he is planning to give more assets to his children or he is aiming to emerge with one successful breakthrough in politics, only he should know. But the big question that Chiru should ask himself is- with his acts and gestures, how he will stay in the hearts of people?

No films, no politics: Chiru has plenty of leisure

Newly baptized Congress leader and Tirupati MLA K Chiranjeevi is an absolutely free man now. Like in the past, he does not have any films on hand as of now and has dropped even the film he was contemplating to do a few months ago.
And Chiranjeevi also has no pressure to run a political party. After winding up the Praja Rajyam Party and merging it with the Congress, he has no headache of holding meetings with party leaders and MLAs, expand the party network or even touring places. He is feeling as if he got rid of a big burden from his shoulders.
Now that he has plenty of leisure time at his disposal, Chiranjeevi happily went on a picnic to Singapore on the pretext of calling on his good old friend Rajnikanth, the superstar of Tamil film industry, who has been discharged from hospital after brief illness. Both the actors might have spent some happy moments, recalling the past experiences in films. And Rajni must have congratulated Chiranjeevi for getting rid of the PRP for good.

Chiranjeevi Declines RS Nomination From Maharashtra?

The Congress-convert Chiranjeevi is believed to have declined an offer by the party high command to get nominated to Rajya Sabha from Maharashtra quota.
The actor-turned-politician is insisting that he should be sent to the Upper House from Andhra Pradesh. He is understood to have told Delhi bosses that he was willing to wait for a vacancy to arise from the state.
The Congress leadership is planning to induct Chiranjeevi into the central cabinet through Rajya Sabha route. “Chiranjeevi is in no hurry to get into the union cabinet. He is willing to wait so that he can represent the state in Rajya Sabha,” sources said.
However, Chiranjeevi is insisting that three of his legislators should be inducted into the Kiran Kumar Reddy cabinet. He had also suggested the names of C Ramachandraiah, Ghanta Srinivas Rao and Anil Kumar for the cabinet berths.
On its part, the Congress has offered to accommodate only two of the erstwhile Praja Rajyam Party MLAs. In that case, Chiranjeevi wants a post of AP representative in Delhi for one of his legislators.
He is also lobbying for important organizational posts including the DCC Presidents and key positions in the state Congress executive body.

Producers afraid of Chiranjeevi's iron hand

The entire Telugu film industry is now afraid to call Megastar Chiranjeevi to clap for their movies? Someone some time back said that Chiranjeevi has a golden hand but producers have soon realized this fact and stopped forming serpentine queues to welcome him for movie clap and opening. If you look at Chiranjeevis's clap record, he has a flop record and the victims also include his own son Ram Charan Tej and freshly his nephew Allu Arjun. No wonder he's called 'Iron hand'.

Chiranjeevi, Chiranjeevi clap, megastar chiranjeevi, chiranjeevi rachcha, chiranjeevi badrinath, Chiranjeevi merupu
Ram Charan Rachcha
Rachcha movie was freshly launched and Chiranjeevi gave the clap to the movie, starring his son Ram Charan Tej. Going by chiru's flop record, we have our own apprehensions!

Chiranjeevi, Chiranjeevi clap, megastar chiranjeevi, chiranjeevi rachcha, chiranjeevi badrinath, Chiranjeevi merupu

Allu Arjun Badrinath
Chiranjeevi gave clap for Badrinath movie starring his nephew Allu Arjun but the movie did not live up to the expectations. The much hype movie fumbled at the Tollywood box office with very little to spare.

Chiranjeevi, Chiranjeevi clap, megastar chiranjeevi, chiranjeevi rachcha, chiranjeevi badrinath, Chiranjeevi merupu
Srikanth Mahatma
Mahatma is Srikanth's 100th movie directed by Krishna Vamsi. Chiru gave the clap and that's curtains for the movie. The movie failed to strike a chord at the box office.

"Meeru Moosukondi Please" tells SPR to his father!

Veteran producer MS Reddy's 'Idhi Naa Katha' has done serious damage to the goodwill of many actors and few technicians of Tollywood. Now his son Shyam Prasad Reddy is taking all the necessary measures to control the damage.

Shyam Prasad Reddy has already stalled the circulation of the book. He is also taking back all the complementary copies that were distributed among the film circles. SPR also asked his father to shut his mouth and don't speak about the contents in the book. He told his father to stay back at house until the controversy settles down. There are rumors that he installed CCTV cameras in his house to keep a check on daily activities of his father.

Shyam Prasad Reddy is also avoiding from talking to the media as it would keep the controversy alive. When the media contact him, he is telling that he is busy with story sittings and asking them to contact him after few weeks. It is clear that Shyam is trying to extinguish the fire by keeping the topic away from being discussed among the media circles.

Only Thing Congress Wanted From Chiranjeevi

The last few days saw quite a bit of hustle bustle in the Gandhi Bhavan premises and the reason for that was the merger of Praja Rajyam Party with Congress. However, those who have studied the crooked politics of the Congress folks have given out their judgement on this merger.

A senior journalist and a noted political analyst said “The only thing congress wanted from Chiranjeevi was to kill a regional party in AP that’s all. Luckily for them, he fell for the carrot of cabinet berth and some additional perks but let time pass and Chiru will realize how he has been taken for a ride.”

The analyst added “If only Chiru took the defeat in his stride during last election and worked patiently to build his party, he would have had a better chance in the 2014 elections. And that’s what Congress didn’t want. Now, they got what they planned and Chiru will be left with nothing but tears.”
In fact, no big Congress leader has come to receive Chiru when he arrived at Tirupathi Airport yesterday.

Has Chiru Lost Interest In Tirupati?

Congress leader K Chiranjeevi seems to have lost interest in his home constituency Tirupati, after merging his Praja Rajyam Party with the Congress.
During his visit to Tirupati on Thursday, perhaps the last visit in the capacity of the local MLA, Chiranjeevi was least bothered about the problems facing the constituency.
When womenfolk pulled him up for not coming to Tirupati regularly and attending to the constituency issues, Chiranjeevi turned a deaf ear towards them and left the place in a huff. Unlike in the initial days, he did not even conduct a meeting with local civic authorities to know the local problems.
Adding to his woes, there were clashes between the Congress workers and erstwhile PRP workers in his presence. The Congress workers are yet to acknowledge Chiranjeevi as their leader, while the PRP workes are unhappy over the merger. And Chiranjeevi has not made any attempt to bring both the groups together.
That he has lost interest in Tirupati is also evident from the way he has shifted his merger meeting to Guntur. And he has already hinted that he would be quitting the assembly seat as early as possible.

Chiru Gets Cold Reception In Tirupati!

Newly-baptized “Congress leader” K Chiranjeevi received the shock of his life on Wednesday, when he received a very cold reception on his arrival at Tirupati, his native assembly constituency.
Unlike in the past, when there used to be a rousing reception for him at Renigunta airport with thousands of party workers thronging the airport and several thousands of people lining up on the roads to have a glimpse of him, the ‘megastar” did not find even a few leaders to receive him at the airport. He went virtually unnoticed by the crowds en route to the guest house. Since he is more a Praja Rajyam Party president, there was none in the party to make arrangements to receive him. And the Congress leaders and workers, too, ignored him as he is yet to be acknowledged as their party man.
However, local MP Chita Mohan saved blues for Chiranjeevi by making arrangements for Chiru’s stay and arranging some official programmes for him to participate. Local leaders Jayachandra Reddy and others accompanied him in the visit.
Interestingly, former minister Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy, who is known to be a strong rival of chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy, came to the guest house to meet Chiranjeevi. Both of them closeted for a long time and discussed the local politics.
If this is the kind of response Chiranjeevi gets, it is better he quits the assembly membership and look for a place in Delhi at the earliest.

Chiru: I am proud to be an ordinary Cong worker

Praja Rajyam Party president …oh sorry, Congress leader Chiranjeevi (well, it takes some time to sink in our minds that the PRP is no more) has claimed that he is very much proud of being an ordinary Congress worker.
“I don’t regret; in fact, I feel very much proud to merge the PRP with the Congress party which has such a great history. Now I am no more a leader. Like an ordinary Congress worker, I will contribute my energies to take the programmes and policies of the Congress government among the people,” Chiranjeevi told the media at Tirupati.
And like any other Congress leader, Chiranjeevi has started lavishing praises on party president Sonia Gandhi.
“Under the dynamic leadership of Sonia Gandhi, the Congress government would give top priority to women in all the fields,” he said, while distributing documents allotting fair price shops to self-help group women in the town.

Mohanbabu invited Chiru for dinner!

Tollywood actor Mohan Babu was invited the Megastar Chiranjeevi along with Bollywood top stars and other famous actors for dinner at his residence on Sunday, after completion of the Celebrity Cricket League (CCL) match. And it was quite a spectacle to see Mohan Babu and Chiranjeevi together.
The CCL(celebrity cricket league) final match was played at uppal stadium in hyderabad and was attended by many stars both from south and north movie industries. Along with Chiranjeevi, Ambarish, Shatrughan Sinha, Dharmendra, Sridevi, Bony Kapoor, Sonakshi Sinha etc were invited for dinner.
Sonakshi Sinha posted a picture on Twitter captioning it “Mohan babu, chiranjeevi, shotgun sr. And ambrish uncle bringing the house down! – legendarry!” We like !

Cherry believes in her!

Cherry believes in her!

‘Magadheera’ was the luckiest movie not only for ramcharan but it has done equivalently good for Kajal Agarwal too. To cash upon this crazy combination, there were many producers trying to cast the two. Mega Super Good Films was the first to get that and ‘Merupu’ was started on a high note in direction of Dharani. Unfortunately movie getting shelved in mid way is very much known.

Inner sources close to Mega camp say that more than any other heroine ramcharan believes in the magic of Kajal Agarwal. So, he wanted to re-start ‘Merupu’ and even tried to purchase the production rights from RB Chowdary. A statement from Paras Jain and NV Prasad about going for ‘Merupu’ soon after the completion of ‘Racha’ says it all as how much is Cherry confident on Kajal and story of the film.

Big Blow For Chiranjeevi Family

Till a few years ago, the mega family members were regarded as golden hands. But now even they are touching gold, that's turning iron.

First Chiranjeevi lost his image in politics. He himself lost in politics in the hands of a lady contestant. Then Allu Arjun's 3 films 'Arya2', 'Vedam' and 'Varudu' failed at box office. Pawan Kalyan's 'Komaram Puli', Teenmaar' also flopped miserably.
PRP was merged into Congress much to the embarrassment of entire mega family and fans.

Nagababu who made 'Orange' as producer has bitten mud with its miserable flop. He lost money but Ram Charan has suffered turbulence in his career.

No one knows what happened, but Srija had a split from her husband Sirish and settled in Chiru's house.

Freshly, Badrinath flopped. We have to see if these problems will be solved at least once Chiru becomes central minister.

Kapu Lobby Out To Make NJR A Scapegoat

A strong lobby of Kapus is said to be behind the planting of reports in a section of media that the Congress high command has decided to nominate Praja Rajyam Party president K Chiranjeevi to Rajya Sabha in place of veteran Rajya Sabha member and former Chief Minister N Janardhan Reddy.
According to these reports, the Congress high command reportedly asked NJR to resign from the parliament membership and make way for Chiranjeevi in the by-elections to Rajya Sabha. NJR was re-nominated to Rajya Sabha in 2010 and if he resigns to pave way for Chiranjeevi, the latter would continue as MP for another five years.
In return for his sacrifice, NJR would be elevated as Governor, while Chiranjeevi would be inducted into the Central cabinet. But, sources close to NJR say the speculations are the handiwork of a Kapu lobby in the state, which desperately want Chiranjeevi to get into the Central cabinet. This lobby obviously does not want Chiranjeevi to remain in the state so that he would not be projected as the chief ministerial candidate in 2014.
“Once Chiranjeevi merges his party with the Congress and takes up the Central minister post, his career in the state is more or less finished, so that he would not come in the way of other strong Kapu politicians in the state,” an analyst pointed out.
The only way to send Chiranjeevi to the Centre is to make NJR a scapegoat. The reason is that NJR is at the fag end of his political career and he would be too happy to accept the governor’s post and leave the RS seat to Chiranjeevi. But NJR is said to be more interested in Cental cabinet post, rather than the Governor post, sources say.

Astrology: Chiranjeevi's Political Future

One of the most interesting and challenging horoscopes for some of the astrology gurus is the profile of megastar Chiranjeevi. The kind of ups and downs he has been seeing goes to show how turbulent the planetary positions can become in one’s life. Now, here is the latest prediction.

A famous astrologer who has been studying the horoscope from Chiru since a long time said “In all possible angles, the future of Chiranjeevi for state politics is gone. As such, moon has to be strong for success in state politics but for Chiru, moon is weak. Even though he sees some carrots from central government, they wouldn’t match his image and he is not going to reap big things out of that. Since his Sun is strong, he may show some better impact in Center but never in state again”.
Many told Chiru during the outset of his political journey to stay away from this field but in vain.

The other aspect of weak positioned moon’s trait is having a weak heart. Usually, such people will get swayed by emotions and their decisions don’t have proper analysis or thinking. It is heard that even Chiru got affected by that. Considering all this, the experts are suggesting the sooner he resigns from politics the better it is for him. But if he continues, this will affect not only Chiranjeevi’s image but also his kids Ramcharan Tej and others.
