The dreams of ‘YMC’ fame Samanta to debut in Bollywood besides Ajay Devgan has been dashed as asin gave her a rude shock. Yes, director Rohit Shetty who had a crush towards South beauties had Kajal Agarwal in his soon to be released ‘Singham’ and now he eyed upon Genelia and asin for next ‘Bol Bachchan’ that will go on floors on August 20 at Ramoji Film City. Earlier before asin bagging this offer, Samanta was certainly assumed to have given a chance to romance Ajay Devgan. But, sources now confirm that two leading ladies in this comedy project are asin and Gennie. While Abhishek will be the love interest of Genelia, it is Ajay who will have to share screen with asin. As usual, after an action flick Rohit Shetty is to come back with his routine laugh-riot.

Asin: 'No bikinis for me'

Call it being conservative, but Asin is very clear that she won't be wearing a bikini in the Housefull sequel.

The actress has a ‘no bikini’ clause written into her contract. Meanwhile director Sajid Khan will now be dolling up the other leading leady in the film -- Jacqueline Fernandez. Since Asin has refused to wear any swimwear, Jackie will provide all the sex appeal required. Guess Asin will lose out

Asin not 'Ready' for Bollywood yet

Asin was banking on the Salman Khan starrer Ready . However, the film did not help her revive her career in Bollywood.

The entire movie was focused on Sallu and he walked with maximum accolades for the film.

The actress was recently seen holding a special screening for her parents.

“They do not watch Hindi films so much. But, this one was especially for them,” she was heard saying.

Asin’s role was overshadowed by Salman in the film but for her parents it was good and they found that their daughter’s performance was one of the best she has done on screen so far.

Asin, the hot actress who hailed from Kerala and became popular in Tamil and Telugu films has now stepped into Bollywood. Her new film 'Ready' (remake of Telugu Ready) with Salman Khan is going to hit screens on 3rd June.

Keeping that aside, she is very beautiful at heart and that's revealed from her servant maid.

It seems that the servant maid wanted to own a house at Gurgoan and for that she requested Asin to lend Rs 4 Lakh as that's falling short. Asin immediately gave Rs 4 lakh and told her not required to pay back. That means, she donated that amount out of big heart.

The servant maid also said that she is very kind all the time in paying well and also supporting with money when and where required especially with respect to hospital expenses for children and school fees.

Indeed, Salman Khan is known for such charity who is running the NGO 'Being Human' in Mumbai. Probably Asin took his path.

Asin Given Poor Rating By Hot Heroine

For some reason, ever since the time Asin has landed in Bollywood with big dreams and to the extent of letting go of a good career in the south, she has been facing few hiccups. As such, there are instances where Bollywood folks have mentioned about the attitude problem she has. Now, here is another one.

It is heard that recently Kareena Kapoor was watching the Malayalam and Tamil versions of the film Bodyguard. She was advised by director Siddique as she is due to reprise the role in Hindi version. The Malayalam version had Nayantara and the Tamil version had Asin doing the roles.

Sharing her thoughts, Bebo who is known for her frank nature reportedly said that she found Nayan’s act more realistic and natural than Asin’s. However, she realised what she said and clarified that she liked Asin too. But then, it was too late. While most of them agreed on Kareena’s opinion, it is heard that Asin was not keen to take up this matter while Bebo was doing her best to make amends.

You might spot Kareena, Katrina or even Aishwarya in the city, but it’s very difficult to spot Asin! Reason? The South actress chooses to wear a burqa, so she is not identified!

Recently, the girl was at a salon in Khar to do her nails and people were surprised to see her need for privacy.

Said a source, who had visited the salon at the same time, “Bipasha Basu often comes to this place and is always very chilled out. She doesn’t try to hide her face or anything of that sort. Many other actresses, including Preity Zinta, come here too. So, it was very strange to see Asin wanting to conceal her identity under the veil. For what? She surely isn’t going to get mobbed!” She isn’t exactly Mallika Sherawat now, is she?

Asin Gets Cold Feet Over Kissing Shot

Asin chickened out of a kissing scene with Salman Khan at the last moment during the filming of Ready.

Though she was quite gung ho about the scene, her enthusiasm fizzled out when it came to actually performing the act in front of the camera.

Asin totally backed out after Salman too seemed uncomfortable with the idea.

Anees Bazmee tried to convince them but his efforts proved futile.

Salman has always maintained this rule of not having love making scenes in his movies. It is said, before starting any project he categorically informs film makers that he will not do any such scene.

As far as Ready is concerned the script ‘demanded’ the kissing scene. But, Anees finally had to settle with a light peck on Asin’s cheek.

Asin's 'Car-Love' With Bollywood Hero!!!

There was a time when the Malayalam beauty Asin was known for her reserved nature and her strict no-no to skin show. However, her tantrums didn’t last for long and right now, she is busy camping for offers in Bollywood. No lip-lock or bikini act: Asin

Sizzling beauty Asin condemns reports in a section of media that she will be donning a bikini in Akshay Kumar's 'Housefull' and doing a steamy kissing scene with Salman in 'Ready'. "I am amused by these rumours. I am glad that people who know me will not believe such trash. 'Ready' is a family entertainer and there are no hot scenes or lip locks in the film. Sorry to disappoint but the bikini news is someone's fertile imagination and not the truth!," says Asin. Despite being offered so many films, Asin had been selective unlike her counterparts. "I have never rushed to sign any movie. I am happy and content with what I do and am not really concerned about how others work or how many films they sign," says the beauty. Asin cleared that she was never too pricey for south producers and dismissed the rumour that this was the primary reason for her not having any regional films in her kitty. "I have constantly been getting offers from the south, which I could not accept due to various reasons. I don't expect the media to get to know about it all the time. I have never burdened my producers," said the star.

Asin's Ugly Behaviour Shocks All!!

It is often said that Asin might be a talented actress but she has a severe attitude problem and she never lets go of an opportunity to show her starry tantrums. However, a recent incident came to light which has surprised many as this time, Asin was reportedly unleashing her anger and fury on her stylist.

Apparently, Asin is very fussy about her hair and how it looks during a public event. So, during one such event, it is heard that Asin was not satisfied with what her stylist was doing. Despite setting things straight for four times, sources say Asin was not happy and felt something was missing. In no time, Asin was heard yelling at her stylist while those outside the dressing room were surprised.

One of the members revealed that the stylist was quietly doing the work despite such blasting from Asin but at one point, the stylist contemplated on quitting. In the climax, it is heard that the stylist could not take it any longer and shot back. With this, Asin reportedly walked out of the make up room fuming and alleging that a sabotage was planned to make her look ugly.

Sabotage or not, those who were present at the scene said it was truly an ugly behaviour from an actress of that league.

Trisha kicks Asin away!

Competition between heroines extended from cinema to ad field and brand endorsements even. As maintaining of brand ambassadorships has become an easy way of securing good money, heroines are literally fighting it out in the middle. Asin from early times has been the face of Miranda, TATA Sky and Fair Ever fairness cream. Of all, the last product was very much popular in market because we Indians have too much of obsession for skin care and Asin too had a rapport with Cavinkare. All of the sudden, Asin is upset because she is kicked away by Trisha for Fair Ever. A surprised Asin approached the management of Cavinkare but reasoning for replacement was not justified.  Although Trisha tightened all the company sources not to reveal this news till last hour keeping the issue secret, Asin is feeling bad on Trisha's worst politics.

No lip-lock between Salman, Asin in Ready

There's been a buzz that Salman Khan and Asin will share a super raunchy kiss in their upcoming film Ready.

But media has learned that both actors have no intention of kissing.

As the actress was unavailable for comment, we spoke to an informer close to the project who told us, “It is a comedy film and a family entertainer, so there is absolutely no question of having such a scene! I guess people love Asin and Salman’s chemistry so much that they are hoping they will lock lips.”

Well, this certainly puts all such rumours to rest for now.

Buzz: Asin, The Insect Eater!

When challenged by Salman Khan to munch on local Thai insects, she actually did!

Inspired by the contestants of Fear Factor, who tuck into creepy crawlies as a challenge, Salman Khan did likewise to his Ready co-star Asin Thottumkal.

The star goaded his heroine to munch into an insect that was flitting around the trees on the location shoot in Thailand.

Ready is being currently shot in the remote interiors, far off from Bangkok, in the jungles.

A source on the sets reveals, "Two days ago when the filming was on, Salman realised that a swarm of insects on the barks of the trees. When he checked with the local Thai crew, he was told that they were edible!"

The source adds, "In fact some of the Thai guys collected the insects in a bucket and demonstrated that you could munch them."

The actor then challenged Asin to try it and even picked one and held it out to her. The crew members expected her to squeal and run, but the actress coolly took it, popped it in her mouth, shrugged and went on with her shot!

The entire crew, especially Salman besides producers Bhushan Kumar and Rajat Rawail and director Anees Bazmee were left floored and awestruck by her fearless attitude.

When asked about how she could pull that off, Asin says, "There's nothing to it... it's all in the mind."

Hopefully her stomach was as strong as her mind, after having such 'local' delicacies!

Hot Fight Of Two Sexy Heroines!!

Cat fights between heroines are a common feature in the cine circuit and this is high in Bollywood. But right now, a different game is on the cards between two sexy heroines. Interestingly, both are from the southern circuit and there is a tug of war which seems to be happening right there.

We are talking about Deepika Padukone and Asin. Apparently, both seem to be having this push and pull thing in bagging offers. For starters, Asin has replaced Deepika in the big project ‘Housefull 2’. And before she could rest, Deepika struck back by bagging Rajinikanth’s project ‘Rana’.

Now, the twist in the tale is that Asin has been reportedly roped in for ‘Rana’ and she would be the second heroine after Deepika. Many are now waiting to see how both Deepika and Asin would compete with each other in ‘Rana’. This will be an interesting duel between these two hot beauties.

Struggler Asin Chooses Bikini To Bounce Back

Tamil superstar Asin, who has been struggling to make a mark in Bollywood despite a blockbuster debut with Ghajini in 2008, seems to have realised as much and is ready to don minimum attire for maximum impact.

For director Sajid Khan’s upcoming Housefull 2, Asin has said yes to the idea of wearing a bikini.

“Housefull 2 requires Asin to have a sexy makeover. You will see her in a never- before hot image in the film,” said Khan.

“Asin replaces Deepika Padukone as Akshay Kumar’s heroine in the sequel of Housefull. Sajid Khan and ( producer) Sajid Nadiadwala don’t want to take a risk with the glamour factor,” says a film unit source.

For Housefull 2, Asin’s swimwear — replete with designer sarongs — will be created by Aki Narula.

A major portion of the sequel will be shot in Italy and Greece.

Asin, who has been a big name in south Indian films before entering Bollywood, has all along been rather coy about showing skin in films.

Many in the industry believe that is the reason why she has lagged behind. Also, Asin’s father Joseph Thottumkal, who personally oversees her career, is also said to discourage producers from giving excessively bold scenes to his daughter in films.

“All along, producers avoided the idea of casting Asin in a sexy role because her father would object. With things not going her way in Hindi films, she seems to have realised the awful truth. If you want to survive in new- age Bollywood, you have to show them what you have,” said the source.

Heroine Keeps Her Father Away

There has been a talk that Asin, the hot heroine has been taking the services of her father in the position of a PR. It was he who used to look after her dates and procurers. But now apparently she kept him away completely.

It is said that she is looking for a PR agency that can look after her activities in a professional way. Asin has been heading towards international film circuit by acting in lead roles in Bollywood films. Although her film ‘London Dreams’ was tanked at box office, now she is getting ready with the film ‘Ready’ with Salman Khan in this May.

To face the completion of hot bombshells like Soanskhi, Deepika and Sonam, now Asin has decided to revive her PR department.
