Charmy's Big Break In Bollywood

Telugu actor Charmi Kaur will descend on Bollywood in none other than Amitabh Bachchan's company.

Not only is the veteran star playing lead in “Buddah: Hoga Tera Baap” (there's another story behind this name!), but his home banner AB Corp is also producing the film.

It is set to bring back AB in his most loved avatar, albeit with a tweak — as an angry ‘old' man.

As for Charmi, Amitabh says he's never met her, but trusts the judgment of his director Puri Jagannath.

Wondering what this combo is about?? Well, this is something which happened recently at a noted multiplex in Hyderabad. The event was the premiere show of a Telugu film and here is a highlight which caught the attention of many visitors.

The person for the evening was the leading lady of the film Charmy and the film we are talking about is ‘Mangala’. The pretty girl was in high spirits and she was busy mingling with the guests and was using her cell phone as well to take the pictures apart from the media folks who were using their cameras.

It was more like a fun event as close friends and folks from the industry were there and the icing on the cake was the popcorn which added to the entertainment. With someone hot like Charmee as the hostess and something filling like popcorn what more can one ask for.

Gossip: Charmy Charms Nagarjuna

Neha Sharma, who made her debut last year in Bollywood with serial kisser Emran Hashmi in the fiasco Crook, is in for a shock. Overnight she has been replaced by Charmy Kaur in Puri Jagannath’s Boodha.

Charmy is the famous South actress who played the lead in Ram Gopal Varma’s Telugu film Dongala Mutha, a film that was completed in just five days. Now the buzz is that actor Nagarjuna has a hand in this eleventh hour replacement.

Apparently Nag has taken Charmy under his wings and has been recommending her to influential filmmakers including RGV and Puri Jagannath, who are close to him. Originally, Ramu was supposed to produce Boodha. Now Puri is making Boodha with Ramu’s crew.

Director Puri Jagannath admits Charmy is a part of the cast in Boodha. Unfortunately, the director makes no mention of Neha. Quite defensively Neha said, “I didn’t quite like the role. ‘Replaced’ won’t be the right word. Puri Jagannath had to find someone. So anybody…”

'Something..Something' Between Charmee And Manoj??

They have not acted together in any films. Devisri Prasad has not composed music for any of their films. But the film ‘Political Rowdy’ which was produced by Mohan Babu had Charmee in it and Manchu Vishnu did a guest role in that.

In one of the press meets at that time, Mohan Babu stated that Vishnu is eyeing Charmee and added that once when he was checking Charmee’s new phone, he saw a strong love message coming from Vishnu. Now, we don’t know how this love transferred from Vishnu to Manoj but right now, both Manoj-Charmee have become best friends. It is known news that Charmee has been keeping Devisri Prasad at a distance since she realizes that an affair with him is more of a loss than benefit.

It is heard that Manoj who was seen as the chief guest for the audio release of Charmee’s ‘Mangala’ is in regular touch with the charming girl. It is also heard that he is giving advices, suggestions to Charmee in her career. The highlight is, Charmee has managed a role in ‘Dongala Mutha’ on the recommendation of Lakshmi Manchu, Manoj’s elder sister.

It is heard that lately, Charmy has begun to build strong rapport with Ram Gopal Varma. Apparently, her agenda is to land in Bollywood, as per sources, through RGV. If Ramu decides, it may not be much of a challenge for him. For now, Charmy is doing the main lead in his unique venture ‘Dongala Mutha’.
