‘Idi Naa Katha,’ the book from Mallemala Sundara Rami Reddy (ms reddy) is creating a wave in Tollywood. If derogatory comments made on Chiranjeevi, Junior NTR, Guna Sekhar are kept a side; the allegations from ms reddy on legends like NTR and Shobhan Babu are receiving immense fire from senior most people related to film industry. One such person who came before media yesterday is producer Katragadda Prasad. ‘Going by his age, ms reddy should have avoided making these kinds of useless nuisance on dead celebrities. When ms reddy made high profits producing and distributing the films of NTR and Shobhan Babu, why was he sitting his mouth shut during those times? Everybody knew about his Shabdalaya Studios and fake certificates issued in the position of President of FDC. He even released a print of ‘Pelli Pandiri’ film in Hyderabad without the permission of concerned producer or Lab authorities. Entire industry is aware of ms reddy’s shameful character. He should go for apologies to the families of NTR and Shobhan Babu unconditionally in order to save his elderly respect,’ said Katragadda Prasad.

MS Reddy- Shocking Facts From Book

It is known news that the autobiography of the veteran personality M S Reddy ‘Idhi Naa Kadha’ has caused chaos in the Tollywood circuit.

For the mere reason that he came up with candid facts, the situation is such that the books are now not allowed to reach the stands. While that is the position, here are few excerpts from the book and Malle Mala’s experiences with various stars.

It is already reported about NTR Jr and Gunasekhar, so here are the rest.

Jamuna
“One Jamuna called me home and mentioned how all the films wherein she did the role of Satyabhama and N T Rama Rao did the role of Lord Krishna became big hits. She expressed interest to do a similar role in my film. I said okay and she was happy but then she put a condition that her name should be first in the titles. Without hesitation, I told her that Jayalalitha is the leading heroine. Then she asked if after the titles, a special card with her name as Sathyabhama can be put. I said okay.”

N T Rama Rao“During a film with N T Rama Rao, one of the character was Poundruka Vasudeva essayed by Nagabhushanam. He was ready with his make up and was sitting on the throne at 9am while Rama Rao had his make up done at home and arrived to the studios. But when he entered, all stood up and wished him except Nagabhushanam. NTR was furious and seeing Nagabhushanam in Krishna’s get up, he was double angry. He blazed who is that fellow? That’s when I entered and Kameswara Rao was explaining. For this, Rama Rao said when he is there why should I do make up, give me a pant and shirt I will act wearing them. That’s when I entered inside and hearing that I said in a firm tone okay. This enraged Rama Rao and said ‘Sarcasm?’. Then I said in a loud tone about the character of Poundraka Vasudeva in Bhagavatham and how he defies Krishna only to get killed. This calmed Rama Rao and he said let us get on with the work.”

Jayalalitha vs Jamuna
“During shooting of ‘Sri Krishna Vijayam’, Jamuna and Jayalalitha were the leading ladies. First time, Jamuna came to the sets in Sathyabhama’s getup and Jayalalitha was sitting in a corner reading an English novel. Jamuna stared angrily at Jaya and said I am a senior actress. Don’t you have sense to wish me? For this Jayalalitha said I don’t believe in such formalities. The shot was ready and Jayalalitha was supposed to do a scene wherein she must cry. When she was acting, Jamuna felt that Jaya will score more marks than her and shouted if you cry so loudly what will happen to my dialogue. Jayalalitha quipped angrily I did my crying now you do yours.”

Ghantasala
“On February 11th, 1974 I took an appointment with the president to show a film. Unfortunately, the same morning Ghantasala passed away. Given my relationship with him, I didn’t have the heart to go to Delhi without attending the final rites. I telephoned Rama Rao and ANR who were in Hyderabad and informed them about Ghantasala’s demise. We waited till evening…both didn’t come. With no hope, we started the final journey at 6 pm.”

Sobhan Babu“Once cameraman Devaraju gave statement in press that he is doing my next film. I asked him how he gave that without my permission. He mentioned that Sobhan Babu gave the clearance. I called up Sobhan Babu and asked him. He confirmed it was him and I asked is he greater than the existing cameraman Prakash. Sobhan Babu said Prakash is arrogant, he doesn’t wish me on the sets and goes to his camera. I told him clearly that because he didn’t wish you, I can’t leave him and hung up the phone. That resulted in Sobhan Babu not willing to do my film ‘Ramabaanam’. Then the matter went to the producer’s council and all of them stood by me. Eventually, DVS Raju told Sobhan Babu the decision and he had to agree to do the film and also pay a compensation for causing the delay.”

Chiranjeevi
“The film ‘Khaidi’ under the direction of Kodhandarami Reddy started a victory march for Chiranjeevi. One day, Allu Ramalingaiah met me and said ‘you lost a lot in Thatayya Premaleelalu, Chiranjeevi is in top as a hero. Go and meet him once or twice. I will also recommend strongly to him to work with you.’ Following his words, I went and met Chiranjeevi 4-5 times. But he was not even interested to speak to me.”

Shyamprasad Reddy“My son started ‘Ammoru’ with the combination of Soundarya, Suresh, Ramya Krishna. He gave direction reins to one unknown person called Ramarao. I told him to take the combo of Kodi Ramakrishna- Rajasekhar with whom he produced many hits. I asked him why he is changing both. Shyam said it is better to beg than to work with Rajasekhar. As for Kodi Ramakrishna, this is a low budget film and he is a top league director, we won’t be able to bear his remuneration. But after seeing the rushes of the film, Shyam went back to Kodi Ramakrishna.”

Veteran producer MS Reddy's 'Idhi Naa Katha' has done serious damage to the goodwill of many actors and few technicians of Tollywood. Now his son Shyam Prasad Reddy is taking all the necessary measures to control the damage. Shyam Prasad Reddy has already stalled the circulation of the book. He is also taking back all the complementary copies that were distributed among the film circles. SPR also asked his father to shut his mouth and don't speak about the contents in the book. He told his father to stay back at house until the controversy settles down. There are rumors that he installed CCTV cameras in his house to keep a check on daily activities of his father. Shyam Prasad Reddy is also avoiding from talking to the media as it would keep the controversy alive. When the media contact him, he is telling that he is busy with story sittings and asking them to contact him after few weeks. It is clear that Shyam is trying to extinguish the fire by keeping the topic away from being discussed among the media circles.

Jr NTR is always right: Any Doubts!

Well, Mr. MS Reddy has written a book and rightly named it 'Idhi Naa Katha' (This is my story). Why we say it was rightly named because it is just his side of story. He didn't write the other person's perspective or respect their feelings. For instance let's take MS Reddy's allegations against Jr NTR. Reddy wrote that NTR didn't have patience to wait for five minutes when he went to talk with T. Subbirami Reddy. Firstly, why did MS Reddy walk out in the middle of a story narration? Will he do that if it was Chiranjeevi sitting in front of him? Although NTR is young and junior to many heroes, he was already a big star by then. Mind you, Mr. Reddy wrote that Jr NTR agreed to do his ninth film to him and he came to hear the script narration. It means NTR had hits like 'Aadi' and 'Simhadri' to his credit by then. He was the most wanted actor and next only to Chiranjeevi in box office stamina at that time. Even after delivering a huge hit like 'Simhadri', NTR tried to keep his promise and went to hear the script. But MS Reddy took it for granted and walked off in the middle of a narration. NTR has every reason to be irked as MS Reddy neither had respect nor gratitude towards the young hero. Now, the old man simply blames NTR in his book and people who can read between the lines will only blame MS Reddy for making NTR wait for a friendly chat with TSR. Don't be so lame old man, you should actually bow to NTR for standing on his word!

MS Reddy’s remarks hurt Jr. NTR fans

Veteran producer and lyricist MS Reddy also known as Mallemala has written an autobiography named “Idee Naa Katha” which is sending tremors in Tollywood. This book consists of various experiences of MS Reddy and also his encounters with different people in Tollywood.

MS Reddy didn’t fear to expose the ‘dark side’ of few actors and directors in his book. He wrote that Jr. NTR is the most selfish person who doesn’t keep his word. Reddy said that NTR promised to do a film on his banner as hero but he never kept it. “I am the one who introduced him to silver screen with Ramayanam,” Reddy mentioned.

“I asked NTR Jr. to wait for few minutes as Subbirami Reddy came to visit me. We are in the middle of a story narration then. But he left without notice saying that his ‘range’ is so big to be kept waited. He is very arrogant,” Reddy fired. These comments are not going well with NTR fans. They are planning to burn off Reddy’s books as a result. NTR is yet to comment on MS Reddy remarks against him.

'MS Reddy' reveals true Tollywood!!!

Noted veteran producer MS Reddy's autobiography is creating tremors in Telugu Film Industry. His autobiography targeted many big wigs of the industry and their behavior with him. Critics are saying that MS Reddy is revealing true colors of Telugu Industry heroes. Whole of Tollywood was shocked the other day when a channel aired the news of MS Reddy calling young hero Jr NTR as a waste fellow. When you look deep into the newly printed pages of the book, much more is revealed about the irresponsible behavior of Telugu heroes. The veteran producer revealed how Megastar Chiru showed him an empty hand without even considering that he is the man who has set his marriage with Allu Ramalingaiah's daughter. Comments on Legend NTR, Sobhan Babu, Rajasekhar and director Gunasekhar are also a bit derogatory. Big-wigs of Tollywood are saying that MS Reddy is himself throwing stains on his good-samaritan image with these writings. A top hero stated that MS Reddy is losing his credibility and the comments he made are just one-sided. Anyway, all the allegations made by MS Reddy are known to public already and till now they are in a feeling that all those are gossips. Allegations On NTR: Right Or Wrong??

The hottest discussion happening among the Tollywood folks is the recent unveiling of the autobiography of the veteran movie maker M S Reddy. Titled ‘Idhi Naa Katha’, the book happens to be candid on Reddy’s thoughts about few of his younger colleagues in the cine fraternity.

Yes, the subject is about his firing on folks like Gunasekhar and NTR Junior. Well, mixed reactions are coming in from various corners on this one. 

M S Reddy may well be becoming popular at this age with his black and white statements but for someone who wrote ‘Mallemala Ramayanam’ how right is it to spread such things at this point of time. That could be based on his experience but going about it officially in front of media would mean defaming his own clan and of course, get a black mark on his reputation as a gentleman. Maybe it is the naked truth but there is a time and place for even truth.

Usually when websites, channels come up with such startling stuff, the cine folks will create ruckus about it. Some even call and threaten journalists. This MS Reddy autobiography says that no media can surpass the film folks in throwing cold water on their own folks.

What MS Reddy wrote is not a gossip but it is recorded evidence which will go down in history permanently. By maintaining silence, it goes to show that there is a fair amount of truth in Reddy’s statements and there could be more to it.  It may be one sided. Only Gunasekhar came out openly with a press note giving an explanation on the allegations made on him. If the rest also come up, that’s fine. Otherwise, silence will be treated as truth by the flow of time.
