Comedian turned hero, Sunil started celebrations after getting his career right on track again. After that disastrous blow from KSD APPALRAJU, Sunil took a long gap to recover and reconcile.          Presently, Sunil’s mission is to teach a lesson to handsome heroes of Telugu Cinema Industry. The talented actor is now competing with one of the best handsome heroes in India, Madhavan. Well known film production house Super Good Films has planned to remake the Hindi average grosser ‘Tanu Weds Manu’ in Telugu. Hero Madhavan carries himself in the lead role of the Hindi version, where his expressions and subtle dialogue deliveries play a major role than his glamour. However, a role of that stature will be very interesting, only if a handsome guy performs it. But now, Sunil is going to give a new dimension to such character with his common man looks. If he succeeds, no doubt Telugu Industry’s handsome hunks will get teased by this comedy chap!

Sunil in 'Subramanyam for Sale'

Mirapakaya Director Harish Shankar is going to direct a film called Subramanyam for Sale and buzz is that Comedian turned hero Sunil has been considered for the title character of the movie,The director confirmed this on his Twitter page ,As soon as the directors movie with Pawan kalyan is completed this movie will go onto the sets.

There was news that Ravi Teja is going to play the lead role for the movie in the past but now Sunil name is said to be fixed for the movie but there was no official news about Ravi Teja acting in this film or not.

Buzz is that, Sunil is even stating that he is ready to act for free if he gets a good offer. He makes it clear that he is willing to do comedian roles apart from hero roles that suit him. He also brought down his price to normal which was almost tripled after 'Maryada Ramanna'.

Sunil And Ravi Teja Drinking Together

The wise men say that drink buddies need a reason to drink but then there are times when the causes seem to be genuine. In a place like film industry where ups and downs are frequent like the Mumbai local trains, there is more than one cause to have a ‘sitting’ every other night.

Now, it is heard that the two noted actors Sunil and Ravi Teja have become drink buddies. Well, the reason for that is director Ramgopal Varma and his movies with them. While he made ‘KSD Appalaraju’ with Sunil, he made ‘Dongala Mutha’ with Ravi Teja in the lead. Both the films have turned out to be duds and it is heard that this has led both heroes to turn to the bottle.

Sources say after the debacle of ‘KSD Appalaraju’ Sunil didn’t meet anyone and was staying all by himself. But after ‘Dongala Mutha’ Ravi Teja joined him and cine folks say that both the ‘RGV Baadhithulu’ are giving each other some high ‘spirits’ in the evenings.

Dil Raju Produces Sunil's 'Napolean'

It is known that Sunil’s next film ‘Napolean’ is going to be directed by Koti, who got apprenticed at SS Rajamouli in the production of Tolly 2 Holly Ganesh Indukuri. But now the fresh news states that Ganesh Indukuri backed from the project as Dil Raju has shown interest in it.

The budget constraints of Ganesh Indukuri played big role in shifting this project from Ganesh Indukuri to Dil Raju.

The film is going on to the floors on 25th of March. The other details of the film are going to be revealed shortly. Sunil is going to appear on screen with 8-pack look for the first time.

'KSD Appalaraju' Out Of Coma After Surgery

The much talked about ‘KSD Appalaraju’ hit the screens amidst great hype but in no time, it fizzled without a trace in the theatres. Now, director Ramgopal Varma has come up with a damage control measure and the reactions to his gesture are being appreciated.

Apparently, he went ahead and did a 30 minutes cut down on the length of the film and released it once again on Sunday. Those who saw it at the theatres are now saying that the edited version is better than the original. There is a positive feedback on the film after the trimming.

However, the cine analysts suggest there must be enough post-release hungama to get the film into public focus. For now, they state that it has come out of coma after surgery and proper steps will get it to a recovery stage and make the makers of the film happy.

'KSD Appalaraju' Mega Premiere By Kalamandir

‘Katha Screenplay Darsakatwam Appalaraju’, the sensational movie by Ram Gopal Varma is hitting screens on 18th of this month. Kalamandir Kalyan declared that the mega premier show is being organized by Kalamandir on 17th night on all the screens of Prasad’s Multiplex.

The premiere comprises the entire cast and crew of the film along with the invitees from film industry as well as business sector.

It is known that ‘Appalaraju’ is the satire targeted on film industry and we have to see how it will be taken by the general public, media and movie industry. Sunil plays the title role while Colors Swathi, Tanikella Bharani, Brahmanandam, Raghu Babu, Ali, Venu Madhav, MS Narayana etc play other important characters.

Censor Problem For 'Appalaraju' Song

The time has come for the film ‘Katha Screenplay Darsakatvam Appalaraju’ to gear up for a release but before that, it is still dabbling with its share of controversies. The fresh one in this list is that of a song which has not gone well with the censor board members.

The song goes ‘luck tho siva cinema teesi..’ and in this, director Ram Gopal Varma has not hesitated to criticize even the top league directors like K Raghavendra Rao, V V Vinayakm Boyapati, Srinu Vaitla, B Gopal and others. Now, the censor board has raised an objection to that, as per sources.

It is heard that lining up the list of the directors’ names, the censor board has asked Ramu to get NOC (No Objection Certificate) from all of the directors or delete the song. Usually, after the film’s release, any of the director files a case, RGV will pass the buck to censor that they gave clearance. Censor board will be in trouble that way. Hence Censor Board is taking enough care by taking all necessary papers at least to fight in court of law if someone files defamation case.

Comedian Sunil's Shocking Acts

If all goes well then the chances are that comedian Sunil will become the first 10-pack Indian actor. Yes, the man with ten-pack Ab muscles. However, this is not to be seen in his upcoming venture ‘Katha Screenplay Darskatvam Appalaraju’.

Sources reveal all this is happening for his other film ‘Napoleon’. They state that already Sunil has managed to get eight-pack and now he is determined that anyhow he should get the ten-pack. The buzz is that he has hired a special trainer for that and is sweating it out at the gym.

Though many are advising Sunil not to push himself like that, it is heard that he is not listening and is trying to wipe away the ‘Banda Sunil’ title once and for all. Incidentally, he wowed all with his dance in ‘Andaala Ramudu’, then he scored with his innocence in ‘Maryada Ramanna’. Now, he is arriving with variety role in ‘KSD Appalaraju’. Then, there is the much talked ‘Napoleon’.

With all this, Sunil is proving that he is not a run of the mill hero and has an eye for the right kind of variety in his roles.

'Appalraju' postponed

With ' Jai Bolo Telangana ' (JBT) is hitting the screens on February 4th, several other films that were scheduled for release on the same day landed in a fix. Ram Gopal Varma cleverly took the decision to postpone his KSD Appalraju a nd not to compete with JBT. Appalraju is now postponed to February 10th.

Nizam area is now biggest market for Telugu films and almost half of the collections are coming from this region. So no producer would want to compete with JBT that naturally has clear edge in the area. Moreover, all TV channels in the state would provide extensive coverage to JBT on Feb 4th, so other films won't get attention at all. Considering all these aspects, Appalraju is postponed to Feb 10th, althoughAppalraju is also hottest project. 

Hero Says ‘Neeeeee Ammaa’ To Heroine

It needs no introduction or explanation to convey what the word ‘Nee Amma’ means and technically, using this word will be a strict no-no to Telugu cinema. However, it appears that director Ram Gopal Varma has now decided to take a shot through his film ‘Katha Screenplay Darsakatvam Appalaraju’.

Apparently, he has penned a song which is rather spicy and the lyrics are quite raunchy. Now, the song comprises of the word ‘nee amma’ nearly 10 times and Ramu is sensing that the censor board might object. So now, he has come up with a remix and changed it to ‘your mummy….. your mummy…..’

These forbidden words are uttered by the hero on the heroine and the talk is that if the censor board okays, the original track will arrive but if they don’t then the remix track will arrive conveying the essence of the line.
