Harish Shankar puts Ravi Teja on sale

Harish Shankar who managed to pull away success for the last sankranti with Ravi teja in the form of mirapakayi is directing an another film with ravi teja and the film name is said to  be named as Subramanyam for sale.

Ramesh Puppala is producing this flick and Harish is busy with pawan kalyan Gabbar singh as of now after which this movie would be started since ravi teja is also busy with veera now and then the mass maha raja is expected to act in a film in the direction of Guna Shekar

When he made a dud film with good content, Film Nagar applauded him for his talent before 'Shock'ing him with no next movie. When he scored a hit with Telugu Chilly 'Mirapakai', Film Nagar is at the receiving end to experience his shocking satires. We are talking about budding director Harish Shankar and here it goes. According to latest buzz, Harish Shankar's head strong attitude and satirical dialogues on big-wigs of Telugu Cinema are irking a lot of people. His attitude went to a peak after signing 'Gabbar Singh' with Powerstar Pawan Kalyan. Harish's ways of addressing big producers, yesteryear star-directors and distributors saying that they are all waste, has become talk of the town. Harish is in the dreams that 'Mirapakai' is a big hit in the industry, and that is the reason behind these extras, say trade circles. Looks like, Harish should reform himself to stay ground else his days will be numbered.

RGV, Puri and Harish to direct 'Pelli'

Ram Gopal Varma has announced another movie - Pelli. Along with him, two other directors - Puri Jagannadh and Harish Shankar - will direct this movie.

In a press statement, he said: "This movie is about four stories. Each of us will write and direct three episodes. None of the characters in these three stories have any relation with others but their actions will affect the other character in the fourth story."

He further added that the cast members would not be revealed until the release. "No star's face will be shown in publicity material. Nor their names will be revealed till the release. In TV promos, only dialogues relating to marriage system are shown but not the faces of the actors," he stated. 

Ileana impresses top director Shankar

Ileana has joined the shoot of remake of ' 3 Idiots '. She flew down to Coimbatore from Hyderabad and began shooting for the movie from Monday (January 31, 2011). Shankar is currently filming scenes of a wedding and he was impressed with Ileana's gorgeous looks in bridal attire. Shankar is filming scenes that don't require the 'hero'.

Tamil actor Surya has suddenly walked out of the project. So, Shankar convinced Vijay as hero for the movie in the Tamil version. And what's more our Prince Mahesh Babu is also stepping into the movie for the Telugu version. But Mahesh is yet to make official statement

Distributors Don’t Care For ‘Jai Bolo Telangana’

It was with much hype and hoopla the film ‘Jai Bolo Telangana’ has been made and while the release date is three days away, trouble is still on to get distributors. So now, it is heard that producer- director Shankar is desperately looking for distributors who are not showing any interest in buying the film.

Already, Shankar had to produce the film since no producer from the T-region came forward and so far, only 30 theatres have come forward to screen the film. Even the T-leaders are not doing much about it and they were candid in saying it was ‘business’ that came in the front now and sentiment doesn’t really matter.

On the other hand, the new release ‘Wanted’ has taken lot of theatres so Shankar and co are hoping that if the film doesn’t do that well the chances of replacing it with his film are possible. For now, Shankar is surely paying a heavy price for his love of the land as no one from his own region are showing interest in his project.

Puri And Harish Shankar @ ‘Dongala Mutha’

It is known news that Ram Gopal Varma is all set to take off with a rather unusual yet sensational project. This is the film ‘Dongala Mutha’ which will be made in a record breaking 5 days and that too with just 8 crew members. Now, the update is that 2 out of the 8 have been confirmed.

First in the list is Puri Jagannadh and it is heard that he would be the co-director for Ramu in the film and secondly, it would be Harish Shankar of ‘Mirapakaya’ fame who will be donning the role of an associate director. The remaining 6 are yet to be confirmed.

This is a historical feat and it is heard that there is huge competition for the remaining six posts. Inside talk is that on the sets, there will be only 8 technicians excluding Ram Gopal Varma. Now that Puri and Harish are in the team, all eyes are now on who is going to be the chosen six for this historical project.
