Prabhu Deva ditched, Poonam Kaur upset

Poonam Kaur who is said to be playing the second lead in the latest release Vedi, alongside Vishal and Sameera Reddy which was directed by Prabhu Deva is said to be very upset with the director.

We hear that Prabhu Deva had ditched Poonam Kaur. Sources say that Prabhu Deva had ignored Poonam Kaur for the promotions of the film Vedi.

This has irked the actress. We hear that Poonam Kaur who had to reprise the same role in Tamil which she had portrayed in the Telugu version Souryam is said to have accepted to do the role mainly because of Prabhu Deva.

Poonam is said to have high hopes and thought to make a comeback with this film in Tamil industry but since the crew had not roped in her for the promotions she felt ditched. Sources also say that she was promised by the director to have equal weightage and that they would promote her like a second lead in the film.

Sources inform that, Poonam Kau who flew in from Mumbai to Chennai for the promotions of Vedi last week is said to be disappointed that the producer Vikram Krishna and director had gone ahead with the promotions without her and worse is that her photos were not even seen in the posters of the film.
