'Damarukam' Release Plan To Shock Tollywood

From the time it has hit the floors, the film ‘Damarukam’ starring Nagarjuna has been causing quite a stir among the film folks and also among the audience. With some interesting posters and the hype that it is loosely inspired from the book ‘Immortals Of Meluha’, the film has gained a lot of attention.

Now, it is heard that the makers of the film R R Movie Makers have decided to take it a step ahead. Buzz is that they have decided to release ‘Damarukam’ in ten theatres more than their earlier venture ‘Oosaravelli’ and create a record of sorts. As such, ‘Oosaravelli’ came in more theatres than ‘Dookudu’.

So, if ‘Damarukam’ comes in more theatres than ‘Oosaravelli’ then it will be a grand release. Of course, Nagarjuna will be arriving with his other movie ‘Rajanna’ first. But sources say R R Movie Makers are taking this as a prestigious project and want to release it in highest number of theatres. While this element of competition is good, the cine pundits say that if the film works then fine but if it is doesn’t then even investment cost will not come.
