Amitabh And Rajinikanth: Who's Worth Bharat Ratna?

The Bharat Ratna is India’s highest civilian award and it is usually given for an individual who has contributed in an impact creating way to this nation. Right now, an interesting debate is on and this is about Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan. Apparently, many are discussing on who among the two deserves a Bharat Ratna.
 
One version is Big B is humble. He has already displayed his reaction to that through his tweet which goes - “Said it many times, shall repeat. I am least deserving of any national recognition, and not worthy of it either. Million other are!!” However, there is no doubt in saying that he is the living legend and a true inspiration to many.
 
On the other hand, Rajinikanth has made his presence felt strongly through his simplicity and rather spiritual approach towards his life. Most importantly, it is the silent charity he has been doing which has brought huge difference in many lives.
 
The rationalists say “In case Bharat Ratna has to be given for icons then both Big B and Rajini are hot favourites. Lata Mangeshkar was given for her songs. Even if someone is an inspiration and their character is flawless Bharat Ratna is given. So, both Big B and Rajini deserve and both must be given this honour.” Wonder what the Indian government has to say to this.
