Film Nagar sources say that even though Dookudu becomes super hit that wouldn't fetch any thing for producers.
The film started almost 1 and half years ago and Mahesh Babu was given Rs 8 Cr as remuneration. Sreenu Vaitla bagged Rs 5 Cr while Samantha and music director Tamanna took Rs 50lakh each. Parvathy Melton and other artistes were billed up to Rs 4 crore and that way the budget of Rs 18 crore has gone only for remunerations.
The shooting has been on floors from last one year and the expenses would be around Rs 10 crore. So, calculating the interest for this Rs 28-30 Cr @ 2% it's coming around 6 crore. So, all together Rs 35 Cr is the investment made on 'Dookudu'.
So, until and unless it becomes a bigger hit than 'Pokiri', producers don't fall in profit zone. If it stands like Khaleja or Athidhi, the situation will be bad. And if becomes 'Sainikudu', the scene will be worst!!
