Apparently, it was exactly this date eighty years ago that the first talkie movie ‘Bhakta Prahlada’ released ie September 15th, 1931. As a result, the Tollywood Day is to be celebrated today. Holiday has been declared for all shootings, specially designed flags will be hosted across all film establishments.
‘Bhakta Prahlada’ was released 80 years ago and they have decided to make it as the significant start point for Tollywood. The key role is being played by MAA president Murali Mohan. Sources say he has taken special efforts to initiate this movement and has gathered a good momentum. Happy Tollywood day folks!!
