It is a well known fact that Star heroes always rely and recommend their favorite heroines to directors and producers. Quite similar was happening with sizzling hot actress tapsee Pannu. She is now unable to digest a fact. Actual story goes like this. tapsee was to become heroine in Tamil ‘Osthi,’ remake to Hindi hit ‘Dabangg’ with Simbu. Even this Tamil Star hero is reportedly besotted with tapsee ever since she has seen her in ‘Aadukalam’ besides Dhanush.
Simbu fought hard with director Dharani to cast tapsee besides him but efforts went in vain. Although he was adamant to cast the curly haired girl but it was Dharani who banked upon Richa Gangopadhyay, whom he thought could be the ideal choice for the role of Sonakshi Sinha. Later on Simbhu tried his best and there was no hope that director would listen to him. Finally it was the call for Richa which tapsee could not bear.
