The cold war of sorts going on between Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu and the family members of party founder N T Rama Rao are set to snowball into a bigger battle.
According to sources close to the family, NTR’s grand son, Junior NTR, is waiting for his marriage to take place on May 5 and then take a plunge into the full time politics. When media persons questioned him about the reported differences between Nara family and NTR family, Junior NTR neither denied nor confirmed about the same.
“I don’t want to make any comment on these reports. My father (Nandamuri Harikrishna) will take care of everything and he will talk about it later. I am too small a person to talk on these issues,” he said, indirectly hinting that there are definitely certain issues in the party.
In the meantime, Jr NTR’s followers will launch a campaign on the need to save the party from disaster and Harikrishna will lead the campaign. Apparently, the family wants to revive the ghost of NTR to bring back the glory to the TDP.
