Amitabh's Satires On Aamir Khan

The arrival of Puri Jagannadh’s Bollywood venture ‘Bbuddah…Hoga Terra Baap’ and Aamir Khan’s production venture ‘Delhi Belly’ became a contest of sorts. While Aamir’s project has registered a bumper hit, it is heard that Amitabh Bachchan who did the lead in ‘Bbuddah..’ had his own share of satires.

On the whole, ‘Delhi Belly’ is doing well than ‘Bbuddah…’ and the following was reportedly the words from Big B “ ‘Delhi Belly’ was made at a budget of Rs 30 crores and ‘Bbudah..’ was made with only Rs 10 crores. We were expecting the first day returns to be around Rs 1.5 crores but it touched Rs 1.9 crores.”

He went on to add “The theatres were also less and rate of interest and other financial modalities also worked for us. Overall, it was a profitable and satisfying venture”. Those who heard this say Big B was indirectly tugging at Aamir. Few others are quipping “Even someone like Big B has to do self promotion these days..”
