Reel Buzz: Rana's Villainy Acts

Convention has been that star kids and celebrity kids from film families end up as heroes only. However, what they fail to realize is that the potential to score more and prove as a performer comes by doing the roles of a villain. The reason for this discussion in film nagar was to offer few inputs to Daggubati Rana.

A senior cine member said “As such, Rana has been showing zeal in proving his presence in other circuits. If that is his plan then he must look at taking up roles with negative shades as they are in great demand. See how the graphs of Gopichand, Prakashraj have changed. Moreover, it is hard for the non-Telugu audience to accept a person from other region as their hero. But they would love to welcome a villain. So, Rana should focus more on such roles.”

Another person revealed “It is routine and boring to see kids with talent following the same path and trying to prove as a hero only.
