Neetu Chandra(Sekhar Kammula's 'Godavari' fame), who created a stir with her bold lesbian photo shoot, has decided to take up the mega phone. Yes, It is true that she is turning a director soon. "I know my talent. Though I'm having the capacity to portray any role, even it is an experimental or galmorous one, the directors and producers are neglecting me. They are not using my talent. So, I have decided to don the director's cap. With the enormous experience I have in this craft, I have prepared a script. This film will go on the floor soon," said Neetu Chandra. Surprisingly, Neetu's debut film as director is a story revolving around lesbian relationship. When questioned her about the same, she replied,"What's wrong if I choose a subject on them. Are they not humnas?". "Neetu knows well that sex sells anything. That's one reason why she has choosen such bold subject. Even if the film fails, she will be in the news all the time - before and after the release," says a film critic. More than anyone, Neetu knows better how to be under constant media glare.

'I don't regret for over-exposing'

Katrina Kaif, who will be seen smoking in her upcoming film on Yash Raj banner, says she will never do it again on screen. "I will not smoke again on screen. I knew that film stars have the responsibility towards the society. I will never cross the line," said Katrina. The actress clarifies that she has no regrets over excessive skin show in her earlier films. "I like to live life on my own terms. I have always done the best I could do depending on the situation. I don't regret for over-exposing in my earlier films," she says. Katrina is ruling the Ad world at the moment endorsing some of the top brands. "Everyone is treating Katrina as a star now. She's lucky enough, as many of them haven't seen her first film 'Boom', where she over-exposed and also done few intimate scenes," says an ad filmmaker.

Telugu 'Guzaarish' hitting soon!

No! We are not saying that Hindi film 'Guzaarish' is getting dubbed into Telugu language. The film was a flop in the Hindi arena though it won critical acclaim and there is no chance of it getting dubbed here. Apparently, Prasad Labs, the pioneer of Telugu Cinema is coming up with their production venture after decades. To start up, they are said to be coming up with a movie that has 'euthanasia' backdrop. The look and  feel of the movie is expected to look like 'Guzaarish'. The central character and it's petition to die in the Supreme Court Of India is the central plot, say sources. The movie is getting huge expectations as 'Prasad Labs' is coming back to producing movies after a long time. Titled 'Rushi', the movie is going to hit floors very soon and a fresher is the director. Charmee To Promote Devi In Bollywood

Though he has not done anything to promote her in Tollywood or Kollywood, it is heard that Charmee is doing everything possible to promote her ‘dear’ friend Devi Sri Prasad in Bollywood. After making her debut with ‘Bbuddah..’ in Bollywood, Charmee is currently camping in Mumbai trying for a second offer in her own style.

 

Meanwhile, it is known that the song ‘Ringa Ringa..’ was used in the Bollywood blockbuster ‘Ready’ starring Salman Khan- Asin. Taking this as the cue, it is heard that Charmee is trying for a chance to herself and simultaneously promoting Devi Sri.

The hit pair of Nani and Nithya Menon are back and this time, they are seen in a rustic mode. Let us see how good the film is.

Story:Set on the backdrop of a lower class slum, the story begins with Balaji (Muthukumar) who hates his drunkard father Jothi (Shimmore) and leaves home along with his brother Karthik (Nani). Both grow up at their uncle’s place and Balaji ensures their father’s shadow never falls on Karthik who joins engineering.

Meanwhile, Karthik is in love with Revathi (Nithya) and has a very close friend Vishnu (Karthik Kumar). The story takes a turn when Vishnu joins hands with Jothi who becomes a pimp for earning quick money and he takes the help of Karthik for that. Vishnu wants to get his lover Vani (Bindu Madhavi), a prostitute, out of the brothel. However, what seems to be a snatch job changes the fate and destiny of each one involved. What is that incident? How the story turns after that forms the rest of the story.

Performances:Nani has given a subdued performance and it must be said that his presence is mild. He was good occasionally and shows his mettle.

Nithya Menon looks perfect like the girl next door and audience is advised to focus on her magnetic face only. She is expressive and looks natural in this role.

Karthik Kumar displays the wavering character in a good way. Though his performance is not that impact creating, he does his bit as required.

Muthukumar has got good screen presence but then he was stiff in many places and could not convey the required anger and intensity during critical situations.

Bindu Madhavi looks sensuous and carries her role effectively. Though her role was limited, she engages the viewer as long as she is on the screen. She needs to do something about her voice though.

Shimmore looks the perfect pimp and displays the apt histrionics. Jennifer was just okay. The others didn’t have much to offer.

Analysis:First things first, Indian cinema is going through a transition and the new wave of lady directors are knocking the doors open. The likes of Nandini Reddy, Zoya Akhtar are creating a new genre and now Anjana joins the bandwagon. For a debutante, this is a challenging assignment to deal with dark psyches of human side and explore the lower strata of society in a realistic manner.

While her approach towards life in this practical sense is appreciable, there are few fundamentals which Anjana should have considered. A film is made for the conviction of the audience so it is important to keep their pulse in mind to score success at the box office. Here, the elements of formula are missing. Also, the lack of branded actors will go as a setback. Given the fact that it is a dubbed version, no efforts have been made to bring the Telugu nativity.

Overall, the film must be appreciated for the debut efforts but in terms of audience perspective and logical analysis, this may not strike a chord with the family audience. However, given the budget, the film will no doubt land into safe/profit zone.

Bottomline: Racy treat, one time watcher for non-formula lovers!!

South Actress Nayanatara said to goodbye to films after wrapping up shooting of his last film Sri Rama Rajyam with Bala Krishna.We are aware that Nayanatara has essayed the role of Goddess Sita while Bala Krishna as Lord Rama.Nayan on the last day of shoot has informed that playing the role of Sita is a bleesing for me and she had potrayed the role with great involvement and ease.It is known that Nayanatara turned in to vegetarian while she was shooting for Sri Rama Rajyam film.

All are happy the way Nayan’s role came out and said showered praises on her for the involvement to play the role of Godess Sita.But the Director Bapu and unit of Sri Rama Rajyam are worried about the a small mole on her upper lip. Finally the makers are removing the beauty spot mole on her upper role with help of graphics.

Lakshmi Manchu in RGV’s Department?

Ram Gopal Varma has approached Lakshmi Prasanna Manchu to play the lead role in his next film Department which has Amitabh Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt and Rana Daggubati playing the role of police officers. She was spotted attending a photo-shoot in Mumbai for the role. Initial reports suggested that Kangana Ranaut would play the female lead, but sources say that RGV has not yet finalized the casting and keeping his options open.

Lakshmi Manchu has been looking after the film productions of her father Mohan Babu but played the role of an evil witch in Anaganaga O Dheerudu. The film did not do well at the box office, but she received critical acclaim for her role.

She graduated with Bachelors in Theater Oklahoma City University. She has acted in the American Television series Las Vegas and Desperate Housewives. She has also appeared in TV commercials for Toyota, AARP and Chevrolet.

Shruti Hassan is signed as heroine for Pawan Kalyan’s next movie Gabbar Singh in the direction of Harish Shankar (Mirapakai fame). This film is a remake of Bollywood masala blockbuster Dabangg. Bull attack on Vidya Balan !

Vidya Balan wore a red gown for an outdoor scene in Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad, while shooting for the keenly awaited ‘The Dirty Picture’.

Two bulls who happened to stray into the sets had the unit in splits, till they decided to dash towards an amused Vidya, given their attraction for the red on her gown.

"I'm not Veerappan's wife" says Actress

Dusky beauty Priyamani denied the rumours in a section of media that she is portraying the role of notorious dacoit Veerappan's wife in the Tamil flick 'Vana Yuddham'. The film is a biopic of Veerappan. "The reports of me playing Veerappan's wife is completely false and baseless. I'm not Veerappan's wife and I  am not doing that film. Though I was shocked knowing this initially, after some time I just laughed at it," said Priyamani. The rumors have spread like fire when Priyamani met the director Ramesh recently. Star Hero's fatal accident story

Southern star Vikram has been in the Industry for over a decade and the star says what he is now, is only because of his will power. The actor recollected a fatal accident that occured to him during his college days. "I met with an accident, when Me and My friend were riding a motorbike. My right leg was injured so badly that I was bedridden for 3 years and used crutches for another 1 year. It's my will power that made me normal again," said Vikram. Vikram shot to fame with Tamil film 'Sethu'(Rajasekhar's film 'Seshu') in 1999, which is produced by his close friends. He faced some serious problems, even to release that film. మర్రి చెన్నారెడ్డికి స్నేహితుడు కూడా అయిన అక్కినేని ఎన్నో కష్టనష్టాలను ఓర్చుకుని అన్నపూర్ణా స్డూడియోను నిర్మించారు. నిజానికి ఆయన అక్కడ స్టూడియోను నిర్మించే రోజున అక్కడి భూమి విలువ కంటే ఆయన దానిపై స్టూడియోకోసం పెట్టిన ఖర్చు ఎన్నో రెట్లు ఎక్కువన్నది నిజం. అలా పట్టుబట్టి ఆయన స్టూడియోను నిర్మించడం ద్వారా ఎందరికో ఉపాధిని కల్పించారు.

ఈ చిత్రంలో లండన్ గాళ్‌గా కత్రినా కైఫ్ తన సెక్సీ అందాలను చక్కగా కావల్సినంత మేర ఆరబోసింది. ఇక హీరో హృతిక్ రోషన్ తన ఫిజిక్‌ను మరోసారి చూపించాడు. ముగ్గురు కుర్రాళ్లు సెలవుల్లో ఒకరికొకరు కలుసుకున్న సందర్భంలో వారి జీవితాలను ఎలా మార్చిందన్నది ఇతివృత్తం. చిత్రాన్ని దర్శకుడు ఆద్యంతం వినోదభరితంగా తెరకెక్కించాడు. ఈ సినిమా మరిన్ని రికార్డులు సృష్టిస్తుందని బాలీవుడ్ ఫిలిం జనం చెపుతున్నారు.

Telugu Hero's Romance With Suhasini's Sister

Creativity is the name of the game when it comes to cine circuit. As expected, there are many who can connect the dots for a hearty gossip. This time, the topic of discussion was Pawan Kalyan and the reason for that is his romance with the sister of actress Suhasini Maniratnam.

Well, the cine folks give their logic “Pawan is teaming up with Suhasini in the film ‘Gabbar Singh’ and she is playing his mother. On the other hand, he is pairing up with Shruti Haasan in the same movie. As such, Suhasini and Shruti are cousins since they are daughters of brothers Charu Haasan and Kamal Haasan respectively. So this is an interesting combination.”

While the Cine folks are jovially saying this, they also add on a lighter note “Onscreen, it is just characters and not real life relations but having one sister as mother and other sister as lover is a unique achievement that belongs to Pawan only.”

Director Bapu Is Angry On Producer

It is known news that the veteran director Bapu is gearing up to arrive with his prestigious project ‘Sri Rama Rajyam’. This has Nandamuri Balakrishna essaying the role of Lord Rama while Nayantara is Goddess Sita. However, the other buzz is that Bapu has been miffed with producer Yalamanchali Sai Babu.

The reason for that is a mole and it is no ordinary one. It is right above the lips of Nayan. It is heard that Sai Babu had decided to erase the beauty spot of Nayan with graphics. He felt that it will bring a commercial appeal and a glamorous look to the divine image of Sita.

But unit members reveal Bapu is angry with this idea. He was heard sharing his thoughts “What is the harm in beauty? What is the harm in having a mole? That will bring a lot of beauty? Because she is Sita, it doesn’t mean she has to be ordinary.” The cine folks say that in the film ‘Sampurna Ramayanam’ Bapu showed Chandrakala in a very beautiful way. They added that Bapu is good in showing ladies in traditionally sensuous manner so his point is valid.

దీంతో ఇటీవలే జరిగిన 'దడ' ఫంక్షన్‌కు కాజల్‌ హాజరు కాలేదు. అనారోగ్యం రీత్యా ఆమె హాజరు కాలేదని నిర్మాత వెల్లడించారు. అయితే ఇగో వల్ల ఆమె ఫంక్షన్‌ రాలేదని తెలిసింది. నాగచైతన్య మాత్రం ఆగస్టు 22న సినిమా విడుదలయితే అవుతుంది. సక్సెస్‌ అయితే అవుతుంది అన్నట్లు ఇంట్రస్ట్‌ లేనట్లుగా మాట్లాడడం ఆశ్చర్యానికి గురిచేసింది.

బెంగాలీ నవల ఆధారంగా చేసిన ఆ సినిమా 'ఇతి శ్రీకాంత'. తాజాగా ఆ చిత్రాన్ని తమిళంలో డబ్‌ చేశారు. అందులో కొన్ని సీన్స్‌ ఎలాంటి అచ్ఛాదన లేకుండా వీపు భాగాన్ని చూపిస్తున్న దృశ్యాలు, హీరోతో శృంగార సన్నివేశాలున్నాయి. వాటిని ప్రస్తుతం బయటపెట్టి తమిళ నిర్మాత పబ్లిసిటీ చేసుకుంటున్నారు.

దర్శకుడు క్రిష్‌తోనే 'అరుంధతి' వివాహం!?

యువ దర్శకుడు క్రిష్‌తోనే అందాల బొమ్మ "అరుంధతి" వివాహం ఖాయంగా జరుగనున్నట్టు తెలుస్తోంది. ఎందుకంటే.. గత కొద్ది రోజులుగా వీరిద్దరు ప్రవర్తిస్తున్న తీరు చూస్తుంటే ఎవరికైనా ఇదే సందేహం కలుగతప్పదు. 

టాలీవుడ్‌లో టాప్ హీరోయిన్‌గా ఉన్న అనుష్క గతంలో హీరో గోపీచంద్‌తో ప్రేమాయణం సాగిస్తున్నట్టు పుకార్లు వచ్చాయి. ఆ తర్వాత యువ సామ్రాట్ నాగార్జున తనయుడు నాగచైతన్యతో నిశ్చితార్థం అయినట్టు ఇటీవల ఎలక్ట్రానిక్, ప్రింట్ మీడియాల్లో కథనాలు వచ్చాయి. వీటిని ఇరు వర్గాల వారు ఖండించారు.

అయితే, ఇపుడు తాజాగా మరో కథనం పుట్టుకొచ్చింది. ఈ కథనానికి బలం చేకూర్చేలా అనుష్క-క్రిష్‌లు నడుచుకోవడం గమనార్హం. ఇటీవల తమిళ యువహీరో కార్తీ వివాహ రిసెప్షన్ చెన్నయ్‌లో జరిగింది. ఇందులో క్రిష్-అనుష్కలు కలిసి జంటగా వచ్చారు. ఇది అక్కడ ఉన్న వారందరినీ ఎంతగానో ఆశ్చర్యానికి గురి చేసింది. 

అంతేకాదండీ.. వీరిద్దరు తమతమ ప్రాజెక్టుల గురి ఒకరికొకరు చర్చించుకుంటూ ముందుకు సాగుతున్నారట. ఈ ప్రాజెక్టులు పూర్తయిన తర్వాత ఒక్కింటి వారు కావాలని తహతహలాడుతున్నారని పుకార్లు షికారు చేస్తున్నాయి. అనేకంగా మరో రెండు నెలల్లో అనుష్క వివాహంపై స్పష్టమైన ప్రకటన వెలువడే అవకాశం ఉన్నట్టు తెలుస్తోంది.

తనమటుకు తాను రాజకీయాలు గురించి తెలియనప్పుడు గట్టిగా నోరు మూసుకుని కూచుంటానని చెప్పింది. ఇంతకీ పొలిటిక్స్ గురించి దీపికా ఇంతగా ఎందుకు మాట్లాడాల్సి వచ్చిందని ఆరా తీస్తే... భారతదేశంలో రిజర్వేన్ల విధానంపై రూపొందుతున్న ఆకర్షన్ అనే చిత్రంలో నటిస్తోందట దీపూ. మరి అందులో ఇటువంటి లెక్చర్లేమైనా ఉన్నాయేమో..?!!
