In a sudden development, Movie Artistes Association reportedly served notices on several high-profile heroines borrowed from other states for not taking membership of the association.
Some of the top heroines who received notices from MAA include: Trisha, Genelia, Nitya Menon, Tamannah and Samantha. The names of Sneha and Kajal are also being heard.
The association threatened to ban their films, if they do not take membership of the association and abide by the rules of the Telugu film industry.
The association has given them time till October 1. If they don’t abide by the MAA decision, they would have to face troubles in their shootings in Telugu films.
