Neeraj Grover murder case verdict: The Mumbai-court on Thursday found small-time Kannada actress Maria Susairaj not guilty of murder but of destroying evidence in the murder of TV executive Neeraj Grover. She can be sentenced for three years. Her boyfriend Emile Jerome Mathew, a Navy Lieutenant, was found guilty of murder and of destroying evidence. He can face a jail term upto 10 years. Actual Story: In May 2008, engaged couple Naval Officer Emile Mathew and Kannada actress Maria Susairaj were arrested for the brutal murder of Neeraj Grover, a senior TV producer. Emile Jerome allegedly killed Neeraj Grover as he suspected Maria Susairaj of having an affair with him. Neeraj Grover was murdered in Maria's apartment in suburban Mumbai on May 7, 2008. It was reported that the body of the victim was chopped into several pieces, put into three bags and burnt the body to dispose it. The couple then had consensual sex twice in the same flat, even as the body lay in a pool of blood. While the murder case verdict was already out, we have to wait till the release of the film to know the verdict of the audience.
