Nandamuri Balakrishna visited Detroit on 12th July to raise funds for Basavatarakam cancer Hospital.
Around 600 fans of Balayya, local doctors and donors attended the event and raised USD 100,000 for the great cause. Fans of Balayya showered flowers on him from the helicopter during the car and bike rally.
Balakrishna explained about the services done by Basavatarakam cancer hospital and motived the huge gathering to donate the money. Fans garlanded him with a huge GAJA MAALA which was hand made by Mohan Koneru and family. Balayya entertained the crowd with his movie dialogues and spent 4 hours talking to each and every person that attended the event. Movie artists Sri Tammareddy Chalapathi rao Garu, Dr. Haranath Policherla, TDP MLC Smt Nannapaneni Rajakumari, NBK fans Dhanteswara Rao Challa, Sunil Pantra, Vamsi Karumanchi spoke on this occasion.
NBK personally thanked Mr. Ganghadhar Nadella for organizing the event, Mr Uday Chapalamadugu for coordinating the speeches, Koneru Mohan family for the decoration, Sagar Maramreddy and Mirchi Restaurant for the providing the delicious food. The winner of TANA-DHIMTANA Anumolo Srichandana for her songs, Alluri Nishanth and Alluri Spnadana for dancing for NBK’s Hit numbers.
