"In the name of development we have polluted water sources, cut down green treas, and depleted our natural resources. This must be stopped immediately. Otherwise, we have to face the consequences of eco-imbalance," warns director P. Sunil Kumar Reddy. His latest outing Gangaputrulu highlights the reasons for global environmental degradation and proposes solutions. Subbaraju and Gayatri Rao are in the lead roles. Jointly produced by K. Basi Reddy and Yekkali Ravindra Babu, the film is set to release on March 21st.
"Gangaputrulu explores the various facets of the lives of fishermen. Though it is a small film, we did not compromise on the quality at any point. There is a good response to the music of the film," adds Sunil Kumar Reddy. The music has been composed by Praveen Immadi.
