Well, this is true and sources say it is happening for a film titled ‘Rayudu Gariki Kopam Vachchindi’ wherein he is the hero. This is going to be produced by Manchu Lakshmi Prasanna and E Niwas, the protégé of Ram Gopal Varma, would be the director. This has given rise to many permutations and combinations.
 
Some of the questions are what the age group of heroines is, are all from different age groups or some are senior. Is Mohan Babu doing multiple roles? Etc. Apparently, Kamal is on a revival mode and is confident that there is one role that only his dear friend Rajini can do.

It is heard that hero Sunil wore some interesting designer shirts and sweaters. Each outfit has come up with a very different design. Same goes with the heroine Isha Chawla. It is heard that her ‘Langa Oni’ and sarees are designer made. All this will be put into auction and if the film is a success then the auction will have value.

Hero turned comedian Sunil is all set to arrive with a pure commercial entertainer as a hero after his ‘Maryada Ramanna’. Whether he has gone to the next level as a hero, let us see

Story
Set on the backdrop of Parakala village in Warangal district, a feud is going on between Konda Reddy (Dev Gill) and Lala Goud (Pradeep Rawath) since a long time. This is for a 30 acre land that is between their properties of 300 acres land each. So, whoever comes to buy that small bit gets killed. The owner plays a small game and comes to Hyderabad. He sells the land to Ranga (Sunil) who is known for his smart thinking. Ranga’s boss pays the money and the land is bought. However, after coming to the site, Ranga gets to know the problem. His friend (Ali) advises Ranga to take the help of Anita (Isha), daughter of Lala Goud. From then on, Ranga hatches a plan but it gets complicated when Anita confesses her love for him. What happens after that forms the rest of the story.

Performances
Sunil was extraordinary. He proved his mettle in dance, fights and most importantly, his physique. Slowly he is emerging as a new wave actor with a special genre of characterization for him. But he bored with over dose of knee dances. He also appeared repugnant in a few scenes with his sick face.

Isha Chawla doesn’t disappoint. Her lovely smiles and that natural sex appeal strikes a chord with the viewers. However, don’t expect anything sensuous or spicy from her in this movie.

Dev Gill was apt. His meanness and brawny physique with evil expressions make him the perfect villain. Though he is Hindi, he has put good efforts to match the lip sync and made his presence felt.

Pradeep Rawath was rather submissive this time though he was a bad guy. He is more on a soft and humorous note. Overall, he did a decent job and contributed as required.

Ali was okay, Raghu Babu brought few smiles, Pragathi was elegant, Kota was matured, Satyam Rajesh was humorous, Sudharani was regular. Arundhati Sudhakar was upto the mark. Prithvi was apt.

Analysis
The success of any films depends on three main departments- Screenplay, Direction, cinematography and music. And if all of them work then the impact is high.

However good the film may be, it is the climax or the last fifteen to twenty minutes which is crucial. If there are the right kind of peaks then hit is guaranteed. That’s what works for this movie. But the climax fight where Sunil sports his 6 pack muscles would have shot in a better way. The oil that was applied to Sunil’s body failed to match the texture with his face. Thus it creates an impact of morphing though original. Director tried his best to make it gripping but still there is scope to build the emotion. Whistles would have worked in theatres in bigger way if Sunil’s revolt was started with a powerful punch like the one in Rajnikanth’s ‘Basha’, before exposing the body.

However, credit goes to the director for packaging with right masala elements to make it a proper entertainer. He was well supported by the producer who didn’t compromise on quality and a significant score from the music director added to the punch. While the entire storyline goes about with few predictable twists and turns, one can see a slight flavour of ‘Maryada Ramanna’ in few instances. But the energy levels and the tacky screenplay gave the extra boost. Not to forget, the scene where Sunil’s six pack is shown is gripping. As such, this is a film which will have a strong impact at the B, C centers.

At the box office, the film has the perfect ingredients for a commercial potboiler so success looks very strong.

'Rachcha' Audio Rate Creating Chaos!!

It is heard that Aditya audio has bagged the audio rights of ‘Rachcha’ for a whopping Rs 1 crore. Many are tagging it as fake price and some say if they have bought it with such an amount, then it is a bad deal. But all of them are missing the bigger picture. Aditya Music rules the roost in Tollywood.

They may have spent Rs 1 crore for ‘Rachcha’ but according to calculations, if the film scores a hit then they will make Rs 1.5 crores and if the film fails they will get minimum of Rs 50 lakhs.

Considering ‘Rachcha’ bombs, the gap of Rs 50 lakhs can be covered by Aditya easily since they buy the audio rights of all the big films and even if two out of ten big movies work, the money is made. 'Nippu' Review: No Fire, Only Smoke

‘Nippu’, the film that’s publicized as the one that is coming from three friends YVS, Guna Sekhar and Ravi Teja has hit the screens today. Let us see how it entertains the audience.

Story:
An okay tale, the story begins with Surya (Ravi Teja) who owns a gym centre and he also has a good friend Sri (Sriram). Surya is in love with his friend’s sister Meghna (Deeksha) and after some cat and mouse games, she also falls in love. After a while, Sri goes to Saudi for job and there he falls in love with Vaishnavi (Bhavana).

The story takes a turn when Surya goes to Saudi to celebrate the birthday of Sri and is shocked when the Saudi police arrest Sri on charges of murdering Vaishnavi. He is sentenced to death. Now, the only way for Surya is to get the signature from Vaishnavi’s parents to acquit Sri. And that happens to be Raja Goud (Pradeep Rawath), the bad guy whom Surya has been fighting all along. What happens from there forms the rest of the story.

Performances:
Ravi Teja gave his hundred percent with extra energy and sharp dialogue delivery. Usually he shoulders all his films but he didn’t have that scope due to screenplay errors.

Deeksha Seth is yet to improve on her acting. Though she has good height, she must tone up her body if she is planning for a long career as a heroine. She suits Ravi Teja’s height which is the saving factor.

Rajendra Prasad was elegant and effective. His versatility in expressions and emotions always makes a strong presence onscreen. He was good.

Sriram was handsome as usual and he delivers to the required level. Pradeep Rawath was good and evil enough. Bhavana was brief but cute. Brahmanandam brought few smiles. Supreeth was standard. Krishnudu, Brahmaji, Mukul Dev, Jayaprakash Reddy, Dharmavarapu and others were there to fill the gaps.

Highlights:

Drawbacks:

• Weak screenplay
• Outdated fights
• Slow pace

Analysis:
The story line of Nippu is very simple: what the hero does to save his friend who is battling for his life. There is absolutely no excitement in the storyline and the director has to put in a lot of hard work to make a film out of it. It is really a tight rope walking for the director. Despite his best efforts, there is no guarantee that this routine story would fetch any success. Instead of taking a lot of care to make a film with this silly storyline, Gunasekhar made a mess of it with his grossly ill-planned script. In the first half, one would feel as it one is watching a Japanese or Korean film without sub-titles.

Given the fact that it has noted names like Gunasekhar and Ravi Teja, the expectations ran high. However, it appears that Guna Sekhar is yet to come out of his shell. Though he was careful in not going overboard with the budget his brilliance as a director was missing barring the pre-interval twist.

For any film to be successful, the screenplay is main oxygen. And that failed to work here. Same goes with the dialogues. They ended up being verbose during key moments. The production values were generous but though the money was being seen, it didn’t have that kind of content to justify. The key scenes were unable to deliver the depth. For instance,

• Pradeep Rawath’s wife gets realization and wants to help Ravi Teja but all it takes is just 5 seconds.
• First half goes with back and forth narration and the real story is missing, it took a while for the audience to realize that a flashback episode was happening.

Overall, the film runs on a flimsy storyline, weak execution and most of the focus was on the presentation than filling it with substance. At one point, one begins to wonder whether it is the same Guna Sekhar who made films like ‘Choodalani Vundhi’ ‘Okkadu’ etc.

Setting aside the commercial calculations of the film, if one were to go by the content part of it, the title “Nippu” suits the film. The audiences should thank their stars, as the film has been released before the onset of summer. Had it been released in mid-summer, it would have been a frying-pan-to-fire experience for the audiences!

At the box office, the film will have decent openings but the presence of ‘Love Failure’ and the arrival of ‘Poola Rangadu’ is sure to cause a big dent.

Bottom line: No big flames

Puri Jagannadh wraps up script work for Pawan Kalyan film

Writer cum director BVS Ravi said, “Script completed for "Cameraman Ganga Tho RamBabu".Surely Puri Jagan is going to create d biggest sensation of his as well as PSPK's career.” Also he informed that Ganga is the name of the heroine in the movie.

Puri Jagannadh is in supersonic speed these days. It is recently that he announced his film title ‘Cameraman Ganga Tho RamBabu’ with Power Star Pawan Kalyan in the lead and now he has wrapped up the entire script work of the film.

Producer Krishan Chaudhary came to her rescue as he called out for his family doctor to check on her, says a source. Chaudhary has teamed up with Amit Chandra to produce the film.
